Just a simple paragraph or so: [Really not a story, but just a couple of pieces and parts of him coming home and what I will do with him]
I stepped out of my truck into the cool air of the transition of Fall to Winter. After hearing of a species of equine that was being brought back for endangerment, I had hoped to make some addition to the equine I own. I found myself at a stall with a captivating stallion. I immediately knew as I stroked his thick mane that he would be the one.
He was a charming Seal Bay with a Pintaloosa pattern. The way his coat shined and his eyes stared with a intelligent and kindly way made me fall in love. The next day, I returned to snag the stallion as my own and bring him home. I filled out adoption papers, and after careful thought the night before, placed his name down as "Calvin". After he is loaded up into the trailer, I decide to try him in dressage. His physique and demeanor make it seem like an excellent choice.

Here is Calvin's new home. One of my stable's connecting barns has been empty for a while, so I place him in an empty, clean stall. He will be here for time being, and hopefully I can adopt a companion of his species for him. For now, it is good that he is alone, as I am very cautious about quarantine and the safety of the other animals on my land.
I know that he will do well here. Training will start in two weeks, once I know he is fully settled and ready. Soon he'll have a nice pasture with friends to frolick with. I hope he likes his new life - I can see it in his eyes that he will learn and adapt quickly, and his demeanor shows me he's just ready for change. He'll be a loyal steed for sure.
