The bank explains exchange rates:

Annabelle leads you out of the store and into yet another cave, this one quite ornate. "This is the bank," she tells you. "It's where we keep track of how much money everyone has." You gaze around the cave, noticing the high ceilings and the huge chandelier. "What's currency here?" You ask. "Oh yes, I almost forgot about that." Annabelle says. "Currency here is called Sand Dollars." She reaches behind herself and pulls something out of seemingly nowhere and shows it to you. "This is what a Sand Dollar looks like." "So," You reply. "How do I get these Sand Dollars?"
"By exchanging your CS pets and items of course!" Annabelle leads you over to a big chart on the wall. "This chart will show you how many Sand Dollars you get for each item or pet."

Uncommon = 100

Rare = 1,000

Very Rare = 3,000

OMG So Rare = Infinite

There is a 5 Sand Dollar bonus for each wishlist pet.

"Right this way," Annabelle replies. She leads you over to a large screen and types in a few commands on a nearby keyboard. A list pops up, on which there are many names. Beside each name is a Sand Dollar total. "Here's where we keep track of everyone's total," She says. "The list is in alphabetical order. Just find your name and it will tell you how many Sand Dollars you have on your account."
