Sainera Has Chosen

The commoner shivered in her spot, she had been nervous, incredibly nervous, meeting one after another creatures that tower over her and promising things she never asked for. She was for one, intimidated. Until a smaller creature approached her, unlike the other suitors, the yellow fluff had leaped onto the Altar! Sainera took a step back hesitantly as she eyed the cat warily, her heart beating so fast she wouldn't be surprised if it'd sprouted wings and flew away! But the cat just rolled down to her eye level and started talking with her funny actions, rolling down and around casually... like a cat. She didn't notice until later on, that she had stopped shivering, her fears quelled and pushed aside temporarily as she watched the cat talk and talk.. and talk... and talk. By the time the flow of words had ended, Sainera was grinning effortlessly, her shivering subsided under the presence of this cat named as 'Duck'.

"I.. " She started but stopped as she picked up the glasses that fell from the suitor and stood on her tip toes to gently nudge the tool back onto the cat's nose. ".. I'd like to meet her.." She started warily. Then gathering up her courage, she nodded to herself, then looked into Duck's stunning yellow eyes. "Kuma? Juma?.. I'd... like to come with you." The Faerre smiled, then hesitantly, neared the cat, nuzzling into the warm fur of her new friend, welcoming the scent of a new life.

This is it, the night that changes EVERYTHING. The male took a deep breath steadied his racing heart and stepped out into the night stage. The poles were lit, the fires casting a faint orange hue on the stage as the blue commoner walked onto center stage. The horns started with a confused note but rang out clear and precise throughout the night as they welcomed the Faerre that stepped out just a tad bit early before his cue. But Krahs was determined and he's not going to waste another moment of his life waiting for something to change. He'd always hated the life of a farmer, he's just not fit for it!

"Ladies and Gentlemen!" The Faerre spoke loud and clear, his confident voice echoing loudly on the Altar. The announcer at the side looked a bit shocked and if not a bit annoyed at Krahs impatience, stealing his rightful role but stood to watch anyways for Krahs carried this air of authority that demanded silence and attention. "I'm Krahs, a Faerre searching for LIFE outside of Vinara! All these years, I've been yearning to leave this place, but the barriers had prevented that. At last, my chance came. I'm not fit to be a farmer, I want much more than that! I know it, I knew it ever since a little pup, I'm not a farmer, but I'm also not a warrior or a mage." He looked to the side, catching the eye of The Queen sitting at the front row of the audience with an amused twinkle in her eyes that boosted his ego even more. "I will LEAVE not because I hate Vinara. But I need to find myself. And I WILL achieve this, alone or with another. I consider myself as a single-Faerre and I have full confidence in my abilities to finish this goal myself but I guess, if you can prove me wrong, that perhaps I might need help-though I highly doubt it- then I'll consider changing my mind. Until then, this is my farewell, Goodbye Vinara, I'll be leaving you in 2 days." The blue Faerre finished his speech with a positive smile, sitting down with a thump and a touch of boredom on his face as he waited for the totally unnecessary exchange that's going to happen next. Let's just hope, this will end soon.
