Junior Colorist

I can use either of two programs to color linearts: GIMP 2 or Corel Painter Essentials 4. Both of these programs are capable of handling PSD files, though I admit that I haven't actually tried to open one on CPE4 quite yet. (: I'm on the computer much more than I should be -- at least three or four hours a day, though I hate to admit it -- so I'll have no problem turning out a litter every two weeks. X3 I can color inside the lines and manage a paintbrush small enough to decorate these tiny creatures, but I'm sorry to say that my shading's not quite up to scratch yet. =3 I welcome constructive criticism -- I'm certainly not under the impression that my art's perfect, and I'm always looking for new techniques to use when drawing and coloring.

You can see some examples of my more basic coloring on this thread, where I work as an adoptables artist. The linearts are mouse-drawn, but I do most of my coloring with my tablet. =]

Condition fulfilled? [small text/explanation pls]: I'm usually quite active on Chickensmoothie, being online at least 8 hours a day (12+ hours during the summer). I usually multitask; whenever I get bored on Chickensmoothie, I doodle designs and other sketches. I should be able to submit a litter every two weeks; adoptable designs usually don't take me long unless I'm feeling particularly uninspired or art blocked that day x3 I think I give helpful critique to fellow artists well, especially in the designing aspect. I enjoy watching others learn and I enjoy teaching them and giving tips as well. I'd also happily take advice and critique from you and the other colorists, since I still have much to learn C: I have Paint Tool SAI, which I use to color in adoptables, as well as GIMP to remove the white background SAI gives it. I think I have much experience with designing adoptables, I am a colorist for the Cyber Bunnies currently. I also used to be a colorist for the Mentaer Fox Adoptables as well as the Mimic Adoptables.

Condition fulfilled? [small text/explanation pls]: Yes, I know the rules for Carpet Sprites and CS and am online 2 hours or more per day. I love to learn how to do things and gain new skills. This would be a very valuble learning opportunity. I am the proper age and am very mature for my age. I also feel the need to step in a little more and help Carpet Sprites. I am used to how things work around here and know many members of this thread. I treat other members right, and make many friends. I still feel I can treat other members better than I already do, though. Carpet Sprites is an amazing place, and I desire to make it even better. It is one of my CS dreams to become a staff member on Carpet Sprites or any other place that is willing to take my help.

Audition: I think I would be a good Mini - Mod in training because I am a skilled and hard working member. I am used to many types of people and I know how to deal with them. I will do my job correctly and help out as much as I can. I will also be very active and devote lots of time to Carpet Sprites; even more than I do now. I have re-read the rules of Carpet Sprites and Chicken Smoothie many times, and know most by heart. If this postistion was open, and there was no payment, I would still sign up. I love to volunteer. All I want to do is benefit others. I know how to follow directions very well, and always strive to help everyone achieve thier goals. I have a little expirience from owning a 120 page thread, but I know I can gain more from the Mini - Mods above me. Clowesia, yumekaczorek, and you (Aesse) are perfect role-models for me to follow and gain expirience from. The expirience would help me a lot in real life and online. I accept critisizm so I can make myself an even better Mini - Mod. Please consider my audition and everyone else's.

Other: It would be an honor to help out Carpet Sprites, and maybe one day become a Mini - Mod. Carpet - Sprites is a wonderful place and has many wonderful members. But most of all, I think becoming a Mini - Mod in training would be fun! Thank you very much.

Yes, I am on atleast 3-4 hours a day multi-tasking and doodling here and there. I am happy doing a few litters for critque every two weeks, for one week seems abit much for me. ^^; I work with SAI paint tool, so PSD files are fine. ^^ I would love to color these, not only to help me improve my coloring skillage techniques, but to see how far I can go with complementrary colors and some designs I've been experimenting with. But making coloring linearts is what really makes me happy, and hopefully with would make others happy too. ^^

Those are just some pixels that I colored in on MS paint for ~SilverTabbyCat~'s Adoptables. ^^ I would post some larger scale/non pixel art, but I have nothing recent to put up. </3
I most often take my inpraration from various deserts (Cakes, Pie, Jello, Ice Cream.)... and candle scents. |D

I would love to color in as a 'official' colorist one day, but I belive that being a junoir artist would be a nice starter. ^^ It would be an honor to color this lineart, for it's adorable and cute and /goes on about ardorableness~ |D

I help out with other adoptables {my own} so I wouldn't have to be making carpet sprites every minute of the day. I love designing, and making things to adopt are to me, extremely fun, and with each one I hope to improve. I just got photoshop, and would love to use those neat brushes on one every once in a while. I don't want to bore you with details on how I want to color for you, so I'll make it short and sweet.

I have plenty of time for a litter, and am a colorist for another species as well... I enjoy the job, but are sure that I want to improve. It is so much fun to draw and color for me, and I can shade okay. The reason I want to join is so I CAN improve, and maybe become a colorist later on. Hopefully. I am on ChickenSmoothie at least once a day and will be plenty active.
I have access to Art Programs around the clock, programs such as PSE7, PS CS3, GIMP, SAI and so on. I'll just need to keep the lines on a USB Key.
I also have unlimited PhotoBucket uploads (twas a gift from PB<3) and would be able to upload many Carpet-Sprites.
I would love crits on my colourings, since I want to learn from people who are much greater artists then I am.
