Before I post the code drop, I'd like to say a few things and announce some other stuff.

First off, this round is not open yet, as I have to add all of the donations back into the kennels.

Secondly, this round was extremely hard to judge. We only had three judges this round, and had counted on four...so in certain circumstances, we had difficulty judging.

Karma., one of our judges here at the PoL, reminded me during judging that because it's almost Christmas that we should be a little easier on judging than we normally are. I had kept this in mind, but Karma. sort of drove the point home, so...yeah. Quite a few of you are getting characters that normally wouldn't, just due to this reminder by Karma. to me. If you're going to thank anyone for your characters, go and thank Karma., because without her reminder, our Code Drop would be significantly smaller than it is now.

Thirdly, thanks for all the lovely donations, guys! They'll be going up in the kennels in a couple minutes, though I don't think all of them will fit this round! You guys donated more than we've ever had at one time here at the PoL, so thank you so much for your generosity!

Most forms booklover and I turned down were not finished or too short. Remember to read the tips and tricks, it is very helpfull to increase your chance to win the character! It's not the prettiest form that wins, but the one that's written the best or shows the most effort. You can have a free character, but you just need to work harder on your form to get it.

What Sabje stated at the last round's code drop is true today, as well. Nearly all of you who didn't win characters had either unfinished forms or forms that were far too short. I agree that it's not the prettiest form that wins, but the form that has the most effort and work put into it. While coding is very nice, I put more stock in what is actually in the form than what it looks like. And, as Sabje stated, you can have as many free characters as you want - but you can't get something for nothing.

Personality: she is a sweet young she cat who isn't afraid to get dirt on her pelt, in fact... She loves getting dirty! She also has tons of friends and they all love her very much!!! She is a very happy cat, and LOVES dogs, she has a soft spot for rabbits, she loves to cuddle with them, and when she was at the milo foundation she met a rabbit named Cecilia and they were great friends.
History: she was born in a box, at that time she still had her mother... Her mother loved her very much even though she is the runt of the litter, her mother whispered to her every night "I love you." When she was 1 week old and she could open her eyes she saw her mother had left, she wandered off... Crying (yes, cats can cry.) when she was gone her mother came back to see she was gone, her mother went looking while she was still wandering around NY city, it was noisy and stinking, she hated it, she wasn't looking and got some gum on her paw, she was rapidly liking it off hoping the pound would not find her, she was too late. They found her and she was shipped to the California milo foundation instead of a pound, she was shipped on a boat and she made lots of friends, especially the dog in the cage next to her, they shared story's for hours! When she finished her 5th story she drifted off to sleep, her mother still on the loose looking for her while she was sleeping. When they got there 5 hours later (it was an 8 hour ship ride) she woke up because of all the noise, her friend lily (the dog) was saying "kid! Hey, you awake?" She replied "yes." Then she felt a shaking as some humans moved the cages off the ship. It felt nice to be off the ship! She was relieved but still sad about her mother and sister. They got in a car and she got let out of the cage "yay!!" She meowed. She, the humans, and lily, went on a 45 minute ride to the milo foundation. They were there in no time! She was so exited!! She heard from her friend lily that it is nice there, one day the humans came in with another cage, sugar was so exited, IT WAS HER MOTHER!!!! Reunited with her mother, and her sister was there too! No one adopted them for one year, and then they set them free, the humans thought they were strong cats and needed to be together, they found an abandoned house and decided to stay there, they lived a happy life in the house, it even had a TV!! What an awesome house, sugar thought, they lived nicely and reunited again.

Why do you want this character?
Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?

I want this guy because he reminds me of one of my favorite superhero's, Bucky Barnes. Bucky Barnes is sidekick to the famous captain America, and that is represented in the American flag themed heart on his chest. Bucky is also depicted as having Brown hair , Brown eyes, and is always smiling. This little pup here looks like one of those people that can really brighten up your day at anytime. If I do win him, he will be put in my many stories and drawing's that I do fairly often. I primarily draw with wooden pencils and use mechanical pencils to darken the lines. Plus, I am beginning to use colored pencils a little more often.

Personality:

Faithful

➣Bucky has a good and strong way of life. He sticks by his friends and family through everything. He likes to be there for then and cheer them up if he is able to.

Flirt

➣Oh Boy.. here we go. Bucky seems to have a hobby of flirting with people. He'll just wise crack and give compliments the whole time, and people love it! You really can't get him to shut up once you get him started.

Optimistic

➣Bucky will always be there by your side through everything, and likes to help them through thick and thin. He likes to stay on the positives more than the negatives and even then won't let on if anything is wrong.

Anxious

➣Because of his Short Term Memory Loss, Bucky can get very anxious while doing simple tasks in life. He doesn't like when something is taking too long, or when he sees people whispering. The thing is, even if they are complete strangers, he will get very twitchy and anxious.

Defensive

➣Sometime Bucky can get a bit defensive about some things. Amongst among these are his sexuality,his conditions, or just little things like a broken item or being late to an event. He will get very angry or just plain sad.

Persistent

➣ If Bucky wants you to do something, then by golly it will be done. He willing and plead and whine until you do what he asks. Almost like a child in some way. This one of his qualities that makes people want to sock him on the jaw.

History:

Bucky never really knew his parents. He was raised in a local orphanage, local being the city of Brooklyn, New York. When he was little, the caretakers would often notice how the little pups mood could change at the drop of a hat. He could be happy and upbeat one minute then irritable and depressed the next. At six years of age, Buck was diagnosed woth bipolar disorder. Because of this, people wanting to adopt would merely pass him over. This made Bucky very distressed and resulted in his mood swings getting worse.

About two years later, the orphanage brought in another boy who's parent had passed on recently. Skinny, asthmatic, and a little to brave for his own worth, was Steve. Bucky was leary of the new comer at first, but eventually warmed up to the kid. He usually was the one who pulled the kid out of useless fights that of course, Steve couldn't win. Also, Steve gave Bucky some help and stress relief whenever he really needed it. In return, Bucky kept his friend from losing his hide, and was his line of defense against schoolyard bullies.

After the boys went and finished high school, it was time to make life decisions. Steve made the suggestion one evening to rent out an apartment. He said that the two men could split the rent cost. Bucky hesitantly agreed and began scouting for the cheapest one he could find on the market. See, Bucky was a waiter for a local restaurant, while Steve gave art classes at a community center. Not much money to buy apartments with. He eventually found a decent apartment for then to live in. One night, after he got home late from work, Bucky saw that there were college brochures by the couch. He was very confused and then finally got the message. Steve wanted to go to college, but didn't have the money to do so.

After another few months of work and overtime, Bucky surprised Steve on the eve of Valentine's Day with a very special gift. After all those months of hard work, Buck had coughed up enough money for his friend to get his degree. The other boy was so excited he burst into tears and thanked Bucky repeatedly. Another year went by, and in that time, Steve had gotten accepted into a college all the way out in Phoenix, Arizona. Though Bucky was happy for his friend, the light apartment seemed to dwindle and deteriorate as the weeks rolled on. He also started to notice that his memory was leaving him. It started out mild, then it got worse to the point he almost forgot his own name. Upon seeing a doctor, he was informed that he had developed short term memory loss. Currently, Bucky is learning how to cope and live with his memory loss. He also has gotten promoted to assistant manager at work.

➣One of buckys favorite subjects in school is the study of United states history. He enjoys war stories and historical knowledge. He likes to study the battles and famous generals throughout history. One of his favorite things to investigate into is the Underground railroad and Washington's spy network

The "classics"

➣Believe it or not, Bucky tends not to enjoy things ( mostly pop culture ) in the modern world. He likes music from the 40's and 80' s, plus the movies as well. He also enjoys the comics from the past as well. One of his favorite old movies would have to be "The Absent Minded Professor

Fencing

➣When Bucky was a child, he would always hear stories from the older kids in the orphanage about pirates and sword fights. He was always fascinated by the different ways you could handle a sword. When he was old enough, he began to take classes in fencing. It helps him blow off steam when he is angry or stressed.

Patriotic Anything

➣True to the mark on his chest, Bucky holds the welfare of his country very close to him. He has a deep respect for those serving, and gladly tries to help whenever he can. Sometime, he even thinks about enlisting on the military, but he also knows that he'll most likely forget where he is,or what he's supposed to be doing.

Dislikes:

Forgetting Something Important

➣ This is something Bucky both hates and is scared of. The thing is, he doesn't want to forget anything because it could mean consequences for him or those around him. Now, work isn't a problem, seeing as his boss knows of his condition. On the other paw though, Bucky usually beats himself up when he does forget something important,even if he gets excused for it.

Death

➣ Bucky has always been sensitive on the concept of death. Being an orphan, stories of death were always common in the walls of the orphanage. Other kids would always tell him about how their parents were killed in car crashes or other horrible things. As a pup, Bucky got scared that something like that would happen to him, and that same fear is with him to this day.

Thunderstorms

➣ One of the most common fears on this earth is the fear of thunderstorms. For Bucky, it's not necessarily that he's afraid of them, the noise and flashing light can bring back bad memories of his childhood years. Now, he didn't have a bad childhood, though the older kids in the orphanage would tell scary stories to him while he was young, or the various people who beat him and Steve up over the years. These are the most common memories that come to him during the storms.

Boomerangs

➣ So, picture this. 10 year old Bucky is being all innocent on the schoolyard and suddenly, " WATCH OUT!!!" rings out across the field. Wham!!. That was the day Bucky acquired his fear of Boomerangs. Nobody knows who threw the boomerang that day. For all Bucky was concerned, he just remembers how it clonked him really hard on the head. Nowadays, Buck can't even look at a boomerang without instinctively looking behind him or just getting the heck out of there.

Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?

I want this gorgeous boy because he sort of reminds me of the great avenger, Captain America. Steve, before he was captain america, was depicted as being very skinny and not very popular boy, but still made the best of life. He is also portrayed as a pig headed and very stubborn charector, who really just wants to do his country proud. When this guy was first donated, I almost felt the connection right then and there, and knew this was the perfect time to try my hand for him. Also, i have many, many, characters, but not almost all of them arw canines. I want this boy to be my first feline charector! If I do win, he will be put in my many stories and drawing's that I do fairly often. I primarily draw with wooden pencils and use mechanical pencils to darken the lines. Plus, I am beginning to use colored pencils a little more often to add that perfect splash of color to my drawings.

Loyal

➣ Steve is known to be a very loyal and faithful feline. He will stick by your side through thick and thin, and will do anything in his power to make it better. Some may argue he gets a little too involved, but in all honesty, he just really wants you to be happy.

Pacifist

➣ Steve has never been one for violence. He prefers to not throw the punches, but to tries to talk things out first. He believes violence without reason is unnecessary and shouldn't happen on any occasion. He thinks problems should be settled with worlds rather than punches.

Innovative

➣ Steve has also been known for thinking far ahead of his time. He likes to find new and unthought of ways to do life tasks. He will talk for hours about any new he comes up with.

Stubborn

➣ Sometimes, Steve can be as stubborn as a mulr. He won't budge if he doesn't feel like moving. This can cause arguments and it really just ticks people off in general.

Reckless

➣ Steve has a habit of getting into unnecessary fights, or just does stupid things without thinking. These are usually caused when someone says something he doesn't agree with, or necessarily doesn't like. He just has to go and open his muzzle about it.

➣ Among his more undesirable traits is how easy it is for him to get mad about just about anything. Now, this doesn't mean he's violent , he just opens his mouth and bashes you verbally for it.

History:

Steve was born into a townhouse in the bustling city of Brooklyn, New York. His only family was his mother, as his father had perished in the service of his country. His mother would frequently tell him stories of how heroic his father was during his lifetime. When Steve was five years old, his mother fell prey to the disease known as malignant neoplastic disease (or cancer in simple terms). Little did Steve know about her sickness and was disconcerted when they told him of his mothers passing. Seeing as Steve had no family in the area, he was sent to a local boys home to be cared for.

When Steve was eight, he was now living in one of the many orphanages around town. When he first got there, Steve often kept away from the other children and often retreated into his drawings which he saved in a small sketch journal. But he was frequently a victim of bullies that lived within the orphanage as well, due to his asthma and overall skinny structure. Though the bullies outmatched him tremendously, he nonetheless refused to give up a fight. After a few months passed, Steve ran into another pup named Bucky. Bucky was the one who pulled Steve out of the many useless fights he got into, or defended him against bullies who seemed to be all over. In return, Steve gave Bucky support and solace when he needed it.

After completing high school, Steve knew it was time to get a life plan figured out. See, Steve had a job at the community center teaching art, while Bucky had a job at a local grocery store. Now, his suggestion was to buy an apartment, and just split the cost. Bucky hesitantly agreed to his mind and insisted that he do the apartment searching. Steve agreed and began to lay aside a bit of money together for after they move. After moving into their new apartment, Steve secretly began looking at colleges. He wanted to go so badly... but then again. He and Bucky barely had enough money to pay the rent each month. How could he afford college?

In the next months, Steve noticed that Bucky worked overtime more often. He became at once curious and would try to talk him into telling him his reasoning, but Bucky kept his mouth shut. Steve found his answer on Valentine's Day, when Bucky gifted him with the money he needed to go to college. Steve couldn't believe it instantly burst into tears, thanking Bucky over and over once more. He started applying for the cheapest colleges he could, both in and out of the state. In the following years, he got admitted into a college in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently, he is studying for his degree in art, while aiding his friend back in Brooklyn cope with his newly found memory loss.

➣ Steve loves art. Ever since he was in the orphanage, he has used art as a distraction and freedom from the normal world. The styles he mostly enjoys are realism,watercolor,pointalism and abstract.

➣ Every since his youth, steve has always enjoyed a good book. He likes to read the adventure genre and often fantasize's about being the hero. He will also read historical and mystery novels.

Problem Solving

➣ When there is a problem, leave it to steve to solve it, or die trying. He will never cower in the face of danger or a problem and l just dive in to figure it out. He's a very good person to have in a crisis.

➣ Although not many people know this, Steve actually loves to dance

➣ Steve hates to be called short. It urks him off tremendously, and he gets pretty mad. Being short one of the things he was picked on for at the orphanage, so he doesn't take it lightly.

Bullies

➣ This is the biggest of Steve's fears. It all began with the bullying in the orphanage about his skinny body, asthma, and shortness. When he acts big and tough in he face of an enemy, don't let him fool you. Inside, he really is afraid.

Crowds ( Demophobia )

➣ Steve hates crowds. He thinks that they are going to fence him in, trap him, and he can get very anxious about that. He will only stay calm if he is with his friends, or anyone else he really trusts. If not, he just gpes and has a full out panic attack.

Confined Spaces ( Claustrophobia )

➣Going along with his fear of crowds, steve doesn't do small spaces. If he is does chance in a small room, then he'll automatically start to have a panic attack. It'll start with him stammering to himself in complete gibberish, then trying to push the walls, and ending with cradling in the corner like a baby.
