Your cat is fine, since cats are not owned by some particular person c: If you're not sure, you can always send me an image beforehand and I can tell you if it's allowed or not.


As long as someone else does not own the species' assets, it's fine. For example, I won't do a Plumerian, Viscet, etc. as their linearts and whole species are owned by someone else, and although it could be considered fanart it would look a little ugly to place credits on top of the terrarium so I'd prefer if I didn't step into that territory. If you look at the dog in my signature, I'm allowed to add that to a jar because it's not from a species, even if it has lineart edits, and I own the design (even if it's not a real dog sadly).
However there are exceptions; one being if you're the actual owner of the species, and would be okay with having one of your things (?) used by me. You can also get permission (that's written proof or something) from the owner, saying that they're cool with it.

If this is a popular idea then I'll elaborate more later, obviously, but for now I hope that at least makes sense!

Since this is basically fan art, I'm going to go ahead and say that famous people are okay as they're usually recognizable and have plenty of noncommercial use images.

I have to warn you that non-edited pixel human sprites can look a little ambiguous, so unless I'm able to pixel his jersey well enough, it might just look like some random human.
