Name: I'm not sure yet, but I have a free pets thread specifically for naming my characters and pets. When I can't think of names, I put the pet/character on there and people suggest names for them. Whichever one I like most, the person who suggested that name is gifted out of my giveaway group. The link is in my siggy. c:

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?: I don't know why, but this guy just calls to me. It's never happened before. I never go looking for characters, because I don't need them. I don't roleplay anymore. But when I saw him, I just instantly loved him. I have begun the arduous task of writing a huge, long story about CS pets. I would like to put him in it. Yeah, he's not a CS pet, but it just feels right. I look at him, and he's mine. I love him. I've never played a squirrel before, but I know I can do it well. I usually don't connect much with prey animals, but him... He's just special, somehow. That look in his eyes...

Personality: He's not like most squirrels, with the incessant chattering. At least, not always. On occasion, his squirrelly instincts do take over for a bit, and he'll chatter and squeak at whoever has annoyed him, or he'll become mischievous and tease someone, fluttering his fluffy tail, but on the whole, he's pretty calm for a squirrel. He prefers to watch and listen than always talk. And none of that "bouncing" squirrels usually do!

History: Considering how different he is from the average squirrel, he noticed when something was up with the humans and the rest of the animal world. He left his home, knowing something was wrong when he noticed many animals gathering together. He was curious enough to listen in, and when he'd gleaned some info. about the situation (read below for a link about my story, 'cause none of this makes sense without some background info. about my story), he decided to join the animal group. They are an army of bunnies, a fox, a few horses, a few cats, a number of dogs, and a wolf pack.

He's beautiful. I knew him as soon as I saw him. I get him, understand him. He popped right out at me from all the others. The squirrel too, but it's a little different, a squirrel and a cat. They each have their own unique relationship with me, their own meaning. I mean, I can't think of two characters in the same way, have the same feelings about them, right? That'd just be weird, like feeling the exact same way about two of your friends.

Personality: He's good at making people (or animals, really) laugh, and always has a way to help lighten the situation. He has a lot of patience, but when he gets mad, he gets really mad. He's most often pretty laid back, though. He's just a cool guy.

History: Just a regular cat, living at a small home on a large plot of dense forest land with his people, way out in the wilderness near the Appalachian Mountains. To tell you more about his history, you really have to read a bit about my story (read below for a link), but I'll just say that when everything got chaotic and his people were gone, he fled with their other pets and eventually met up with an army of bunnies, a fox, a few horses, a number of dogs, a wolf pack, and some cats, all traveling to safety in the far north. From then on, my story begins. c:

That's the point; I'm writing a story. If and when it comes to me actually writing them into my story, I'll put their histories, their characters, everything about them, much more into detail. I don't want to give away a whole lot before that part of my story is even posted. Also, I've written a lot in the past week, and I am mentally exhausted. I don't expect to have a great form, but I had hoped my sincerity at least would be apparent to you, not to sound snippy.

I can understand that you wouldn't want to give away plot and things like that, but you have to see my point here. Visualising the story myself based on an outline isn't what this is about, and when I have other forms to judge as well, I'm not going to go searching around other links to find out more.
I know what it is like to be mentally exhausted, in fact I haven't written anything decent to get over my last one in ages... Or at least decent to my own standards. I can sympathise, but I can't make exceptions because of it. Perhaps I am misunderstanding what you mean by this, but I'm only saying what is coming across to me.

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
Personally, I just think this character is adorable. :U Those yellow stripes just look so squiggly and cute. .3. I will call him Leo, since his stripes are a bright yellow, which reminds me of a lion's golden, sandy pelt. I'll do my best to get him (and all my other charries of course) good art and I will love him and hug him forever. Another thing I love about him is the colour of his eyes.
Personality:
This guy's a little party rebel. He seems very secluded when you first ever meet him but when you get to know him you'd be like, "How could I ever think he was shy?" He can be bit forward and he'll generally be the one to boss people about. He doesn't like people who are always happyor always sad. If he feels something isn't right he'll rebel against it no matter what the consequence is. He often rushes into things headfirst.
History:
Anthro history:
The anthro-cat smiled as the sunlight danced on him. An easy life as always, he thought, but there's something missing. It feels so predictable, so, so boring... Leo narrowed his blue eyes as the boredom lapped at his mind. Leo's the kind of guy that craves excitement and adventure. So, one summer night, after much thought, he decided to leave the predicatbility of his home. He had not expected to live even for a few days, let alone a few weeks. Living rough proved too difficult for him and he collapsed on the mountain trail he had been walking on. His eyes peered opened as a short shadow fell over him. It was another anthro-cat. He introduced himself as Riko and offered him a place in his home. "You-you sure?" Leo stuttered as Riko helped him up on to his feet. He gazed at the strange person when he agreed, who was the same age as him, 15, and followed Riko. A rather small, aged cottage stood in front of them. "Come," Riko said as he settled on a large couch. Leo simply flopped on to it and asked, "Say Riko... Could I stay here and could I get a drink?"
"Yeah to both." Riko responded with a smile as he prepared some Coke for the two of them. He passed one to Leo and raised the glass. "To friends?" he asked Leo.
"To friends." Leo agreed. But little did Leo know that he would be staying here for the next three years, and beyond that.
Quad history:
Leo yawned and flickered open his eyes as his owner's tipped the food into his bowl and gave him a stroke. He uncurled his tail and rested it on to the side of the basket. Same old routine as always, he thought drowsily to himself as he streched limbs one by one. He raised his eyes as the children ran down the staircase, except they weren't children anymore. They barely stopped to glance at him as the female gibbered on about a party she was going to later. He arched his back and flicked his tail as he leaped out of an open window in the kitchen. After a few hours of travelling he found that his paws ached, his stomach rumbled and he had no choice but too rest in a sodden cardboard box. He was woken by a paw jabbing into his side. Slowly creaking open his blue eyes he looked into the green eyes of a strange cat. He hissed in confusion as his eyes travelled over his bandages, the dragon-like wings and the strange growth of fur that seemed like human hair. Leo's grey, white and yellow pelt quivered as he gazed into his eyes; noticing one was cloudy and blind, with clawmarks over it. "Hey there. I'm Riko. Your name is...?" the odd-looking cat mewed. Leo explained his situation and added, "Oh yeah, I'm Leo." Riko softly narrowed his eyes and meowed, "Well, I could show you the best places to hunt in this city." Leo agreed to this offer and purred at his new friend.

Just a tip. You may want to expand your history a bit. Although I'm not certain about the other judges, when I judge I look for a certain level of detail, and your histories are a little short c; I could link you some forms of mine if you'd like to see what I expect c:

I edited my history, because I didn't realize it was supposed to be a story xD maybe in the form you could put "History in Story Form" or somthing like that to clear it up a bit. ^^;

Well it doesn't have to be in the form of a story, and I think it's quite obvious what we're after as every other agency does it the same way, but I do prefer it to be much more detailed, and stories are better at that.
