Kennel number: 2
Name: Alexis
Age: Human years: One year and four months old.
Dog years: Nine years old.
Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd.
Why do you want this animal: I want Alexis for various reasons. One of them would surely be that I always wanted a German Shepherd character, yet I continuously gave up. Why I gave up, I have no idea, but when I saw this little cutie, I knew that she was meant to be my long-awaited German shepherd character. I mean, even though she is supposed to be a wolf, she just looks so German shepherd to me, and not a wolf. I hope it is okay if I change her breed to a German Shepherd, as it never said to not change the species.
Another reason would have to be her somewhat realistic design. I would make the grey into a nice black, and brighten up the brown a teeny bit, but overall, her design looks quite realistic in my opinion. And realism was exactly what I was looking for in my unmade German shepherd character, and this little girl has it all.
A home with me would mean a page to call her own on my character site, and possibly being placed into a Post-Apocalypse story that is currently in the makings. She would be much loved.
Personality:-Obedient-
Alexis is obedient, some say she is even too obedient for her own good, because she will listen to nearly anyone. Even if it is a robber or a known murderer giving the command, Alexis will follow the command obediently and hope for a treat at the end.
Because she is so obedient, Alexis has been stolen several times, as German Shepherds are highly sought after where she and
her master live, and her master has had to take her back from the person who had stolen her. The issue of her obedience is currently trying to be resolved by her master, as she does not want to loose Alexis for good.
-Hyper-
Mostly because some puppy energy remains in her, Alexis is very hyper. She will jump up, tackle, knock you down, pull while being walked, you name it and she will most likely do it. The fact that her attention span is flighty doesn't help either; she is a big dog, and when finally walking properly on a walk, Alexis will be distracted by the mere sight of a leaf being blown across the road and madly chases after it until it has been blown out of her grips.
-Playfully aggressive-
Alexis tends to be somewhat aggressive while playing, though she is never for real when it appears that she is aggressive, and just wants to play more. When being aggressive in play, she will emit a playful growl, make a play bow and then tackle. She will also start stalking slowly towards the person she is playing with, and then quickly leap at their hands and snap the air. Of course, these are all just ways of playing for her, and she has never done any actual damage to anyone by playing like that.

History/Background:Alexis had a normal life. Or at least, her puppyhood was normal. She was born in a litter of several German shepherds, she being one of the middle sized ones, but with little strength at the time. She had remained in the litter, having the normal life until about 3 months old, when she was sold away to an elderly couple. She had remained with the elderly couple for about three months, until she was six months old, when the elderly couple died of old age. She begun to roam the streets, though she was quickly caught by animal control and placed in the pound, where she stayed in for a week. Once she got adopted, Alexis was trained for the first time, and had stayed with that owner the rest of her life, though she was snatched several times, each one her owner managed to get her back.
