Breed/Species: Horse (Thoroughbred X Paint Horse)
Personality: Since he is only a young horse, Secretariat hasn't developed much of a personality. But he is a sweet and rather energetic. He'll gallop around the pastures until one of the horses gets angry and chases him. He loves treats and attention. His mother pasted away shortly after his birth, but it hasn't seemed to affected him too much.
Other:
This is his owners diary. It captures his life so far the best.

July 14th
Rustic Rose and Dappy Days have bred and Rose is now pregnant with a foal. We find it very cool, but unusual that they are such different breeds and now there will be an Appaloosa X Thoroughbred cross at the farm. We hope it'll be a winner and we hope it'll look mostly like a thoroughbred so it can race. The vet is coming by tomorrow to do an ultrasound so we know what gender it will be. Here at the farm, we are super excited for the new baby's arrival. We are all taking amazing care of Rose and Dappy seems to be even happier than he was. Rustic is currently taken off of lessons and training. Dappy is still training and being used for trail rides.

July 22nd
A week ago, the vet came and told us that the baby will be a colt! I haven't been able to record this until now because I've been helping around the farms a lot. I have all these visions about how the colt will look. I think he'll be a winner. But i'm also hoping I'll be able to train it. We're predicting it'll be born next May and by then, I'll be able to start training. Well, at least that's what Momma said. I really excited now!

November 24th
It's finally Thanksgiving here in Kentucky. We're having a huge party with all of the local race farm owners and horse farm owners around here. We're cooking turkey and I'm helping Momma with all the other foods we'll be serving. We're also announcing that we're having a foal soon. I hope the reaction will be good when we announce it's background. I hope people won't laugh. That'd make Poppa mad. And that's never fun.

February 2nd
The last time I wrote it was in November. It wasn't a very good reaction to the foal on Thanksgiving. Most people laughed and Poppa did get angry. But he cooled down fast. Thank goodness. We got our first big snow here as well. We had to move all the horses into the Race Horse barn. It was hard to keep Rose happy as well. She had to have two blankets on her at all times. But she survived and We're super excited for the foal. The next time I'll write you is in May when he is finally born.

May 19th
Yay! Rose finally gave birth today. We called the vet and he came and helped her through it. She produced a gorgeous colt and we named him Secretariat. It sounded very formal and the original Secretariat was a triple crown winner and thats what we're hoping for. Secretariat is gorgeous! He is a rustic color with Rose's markings on his back thighs and front legs and back legs. He also has Dappy's spots. He's gorgeous and I can't wait to train him.

May 20th
Sadness has fallen upon our farm like a black curtain on a stage of grief. Things took a turn for the worse for Rose. The vet stayed around after Secretariat's birth. She got sick and it kept getting worse. Eventually the vet said there was no hope for her and to just enjoy the time we had left with her. Rustic Rose passed away on May 20th at 1:45am. Secretariat will now have to be fed with goats milk through a bottle until he can eat solid food. He is officially mine now. He is my full responsibility. It's very sad what happened to Rose and we'll never forget her.

June 10th
It's finally summer here! I'm out of school and I can officially start Training with Secretariat. He is 3 weeks old now and can stand and eat and run around in the pasture. except, he has his own small pasture so that the other horses do not hurt him. I have a cute little halter for him and it's light blue with zebra stripes. He seems to like it and everyone says it looks good. I'm also going to get him a leather one when he gets older for shows and such. I can train him on a leadline and long whip. I never hit him with it, just follow him with it. I am currently just walking with him, but we'll get there.

June 24th
Secretariat is now 5 weeks old and I can get him up to a trot and we're really bonding. The vet comes every week to check on him and check his progress. He told me I'm doing well with him and he seems really attached to me. We go on long walks on the trail and when I ride my horse on the trail, I bring Secretariat on a lead line. He seems very calm and happy and I hope that attitude will stay with him as he gets older.Losing his mother doesn't seem to bother him at all, which is also good.

July 29th
Secretariat is now 10 weeks old. I can get him up to a trot on the leadline and he can now be in a pasture with other horses. He has fun running around in the pasture and it really makes me smile. When I bring him on trails, he doesn't spook anymore and he really has a bond with my horse as well. He hasn't met Dappy yet. We're saving that for his birthday. The other horses never hurt him and they seem to take him under their wing. He has tried to nurse on a couple of females, and they didn't take to that well, but other than that, he's doing swell.

He is curently only 11 weeks old, so the diary ends here. More will be added as Secretariat grows older.

Personality:Schnee is very shy, and she usually isn't very social either. She usually avoids humans, but is most comfortable with her companion, Jayfur. She is very generous, and always helps those in need.
Other: This is a little BIO/INFO on her: Schnee is a small, white Farrit. She travels with her friend, Jayfur. She likes all seasons, but her favorite by far is wintertime. Her thick, bushy fur helps keep her warm when it is frigid outside. But this big coat can hold a lot of water, so she is unable to swim. When she is not traveling with Jayfur, she usually lives in the mountains, where is is usually cool all year round. She eats berries and other small plants and seeds.

Breed/Species: Pony of america.
Personality: Takalian is a litlle head-strong. He thinks he is the world and it revolves around him. He will not stop until he gets his way. He is very persistive and hates the color yellow. He is unridable and only to be touched by his mate or friends. Sounds like a bad horse, right? Wrong! He has his sappy moments. He is very romantic and a huge flirt. He usually doesn't like childern, but that may change.
Other: This is unbelievable. His shape/art/designs are breath taking! I adore him! I would love him with all my heart and order a ton of art of him! I will be very strict on finding him a mate though. He will be one of my main characters and will be in a story I'm making. He will be adored and looked apon by me <3

April 1st, 1864
Dear Diary,
Today I talked to mother, and said how I would like a horse for my birthday! My own horse! She said, "Why, you are getting to the age where you may need your own horse" I was thrilled! We went to look for a cheap horse this afternoon, but found none. Mother and I are going to look again this Saturday. I hope with all my heart we find one!

April 8th, 1864
Dear Diary,
Mother and I found a pregnant mare! She is breath-taking! I have decided to call my new foal Tally. I cannot bare to wait for it to be born! Farmer says she is ten months pregnant and the foal could be born any day! I am so excited! Mother says Tally is going to be beautiful.

April 17th, 1864
Dear Diary,
Tally was born yesterday! He is nothing like I imagined. He has grass-green eyes; Silver swirls around the tip of his tail and at the base of his ankle. He is considered a 'hero' and Mayor Delinkou offer two hundred dollars for him! That's more then father makes in two years! Farmer turned him down and said the little foal was taken by me! I love him with all my heart! He is already the apple of my eye, and I haven't even brung him home yet. I just wonder where the markings came from?

May 3rd, 1864
Dear Diary,
Sorry I have not used you in a while! I have been so busy with Tally! He was brougth over two weeks ago. He is a hand-full! He is very sweet and nickers softly when I walk in the barn! I think he likes me!

May 14th, 1864
Dear Diary,
Today, as I was doing my final round in the barn; Tally collapsed! Mother called the vet and he is constently being monitered. We think he came down with the flu, but at his young age, it could cause him his life! I pray with all my heart that Tally will be well again, soon!

July 16th, 1864
Dear Diary,
Oh dear! It's been centuries since I have written in you! I have been so busy in the barn. Tally pulled trough and is doing well again. Although, I give him a little more attention then I did before. I recently encountered him being sick, and I relized how important he is to me. I need to protect him. I need him. He needs me.

August 3rd, 1864
Dear Diary,
Tally is growing tremendously! I absolutely love his coat; Everything about him, actualy! Me and him strolled out to the forest today and took a nap under the ol' apple tree. We are really getting to be inseperable.

December 24th, 1864
Tommorow is christmas! I got Tally a bag of apples and I knitted him a velvet bow. Mother says Tally is only a horse and he does not deserve this pampering. I disagree. Tally is my life. He doesn't seem to like the snow that much. I find it funny when I lead him out to the pasture and he halts to a stop. I cannot get him in that snowy corral for my life!

April 16th, 1865
Dear Diary,
Today is Tally's birthday! I can finally put a saddle on his back! I will try tommorow. Today, I need rest. It was a hard day in the barn and Mother says school starts soon. More school means less time with Tally.

July 20th, 1865
Dear Diary,
I will no longer be able to update you. Not for a while, anyway. I am very ill. The docter is constently at the house and I think Tally knows. He has not touched his hay since I became ill. I will be strapping this diary to his velvet bow that is now around his neck. I'm letting him go, there is no hope for me. If I do get better, I'll never be able to ride again. It's not the fever I have. It 'tis something with my hips and back bone. I cannot walk; nor stand. The doctor has never seen anything like me before and sentanced me to bed-rest. I did not get the fever until last week.

Apirl 14th, 1866
Hailey passed June 12th, 1865. This is now property of Farmer. I promised Hailey that when she passed I would take care of Tally and continue the journal. He is so deppressed. Tally knows she is gone. You can see it in his green eyes. They are dull and lifeless. He is slowly recovering but it will be a long proccess.

June 2nd, 1866
Tally is now doing very well! He has grown up so much since he first arrived here! He is unridable though. He refuses my touch, so I do not know what to do with him. Ever since Hailey passed, he has been a completely different horse. Maybe he will get better, but I have a feeling he will not.

Augsust 14th, 1866
Tally ran away today! I was in the barn and was doing the regular routine when I walked past his stall. He was trotting around in his box and looked angry at something. I grabbed his halter and opened the stall door, and he barrled through me. I watched him run, unsure of what to do. We sent a few people out to look for him today. He has not been found.

September 17th, 1866
Tally has not yet returned. I just hohpe he is okay.

December 14th, 1872
It has been years since I heard about Tally! I heard a couple days ago that he ran to the mustang reserve and stayed there for a couple years. He got bored of that wondered aimlessly. A little girl, Abbigale, and her father found and safely captured him. He now lives at thier farm and Abbigale is his new Hailey. His eyes sparkle again and he developed markings on his ear and around his eye. Abbigale gave him a breath-taking amulet that he wears on his front-right leg. She also renamed him. His new name is now Takalian. I hope he has a long happy life with his new Hailey...
