Somnei Bonding

Why do I want one?
These are absolutely amazing ;A; Creative, brilliant. I think it's be fun to draw and write stories about a Somnei, and this one has a subtle but stunning design.
What will I use it for?
Art, stories. Maybe, when I have a nightmare, I'll imagine the somnei bringing me joy. <3
Describe your Somnei
Outgoing, almost tame, this somnei loves to hang around after the dreamer has woken. It likes to rest and enjoy company of others, and enjoys frolicking in the dreams it enters.
Vieta Cor means "Mellow Heart". It almost perfectly describes the lighthearted and brave somnei who bears that name.

Write a short story for your Somnei:
A brittle wind swept into a small house as the door was swung open. A young woman stepped in, clutching her jacket and shivering. It was snowing-the middle of a blizzard. She slammed the door shut, and flicked on the lights. The house was illuminated, and it showed only that the quaint house was unoccupied except for by her. She grabbed a fuzzy blanket, took her boots off, and snuggled up on her couch.
It didn't take her long to drift off. Though she was asleep, everything was still cold and haunting. She cried out, but only silence came out of her mouth. All of the sudden, a warm breeze swept by, ruffling her hair, causing her to shut her eyes...she opened them to a warm and grassy valley. Dew was fresh on the vegetation, and she plucked a flower to examine its scent. It was sweet and welcoming, and she looked up to survey her surroundings once again.
the flower was gently slipped out of hand. A small creature (the size of a ferret, perhaps) gingerly tucked the flower behind her ear. She gasped when she felt it, and as the little animal leaped onto the ground, its eyes were as kind and welcoming as the scent of the flower. They were aglow, along with a crest upon its head.
"Hello," it seemed to whisper. Its mouth did not move, it voice simply was projected into her mind.
"Why, hello to you as well," she replied, stunned, "What are you, exactly?"
"I am a somnei. We bring happiness to the dreams of those we choose."
"Well, you are very welcome here," she looked around, "I haven't had a dream this....warm.... since I was a child."
"I must go now. It is time for you to wake. I will return...I promise."
The somnei did return. It stayed by her side in her dreams, and it was always there when she woke, swishing its tail as if to say, 'Good morning, and goodbye until you dream once more'.
