{Ahzenai} New Thread! (Please Lock)

This short story was written as a response to the lovely Thegalym <3

I wasn't sure if I belonged here, to be honest. The other people I saw walking around seemed to be excited and thrilled about trying to woo an Ahzenai into their open arms, but I on the other hand, was a bit nervous. In my own element, I was confident and strong-willed, but in places which I knew nothing or few things about, I tended to become a bit shy. Put me on some dirt and give me a softball and glove, and I'll show everyone what I can do, but here, I was afraid of being rejected.

The Ahzenai have always been popular in my small town that rested just a few miles from the base of the mountain where their home was, but I was never allowed to wander into the cave...until now. The vortex buzzed with life as I stood there in the cave opening, waiting for something to happen. I waited a few moments, and when nothing came from the swirl of colors, I decided to venture deeper and locate an Ahzenai that I could hopefully take home with me. As soon as turned and started walking off towards a large group of the beautiful creatures, there was a large commotion coming from the lake. I jumped as the splash of cold water hit my skin, but I was more startled by the gorgeous purple male that emerged from the water. His sharp vocals rang out into the cave, echoing off the walls and chilling my bones to the core, but I still stayed motionless. I was stunned by the magnificent color and patterns that traced his skin and fur, and those dazzling eyes of his held me in my place.

"Hello." I said softly, my shakey voice stuttering the small word and turning it into a long, drawn out sentence. The male kept his glare focused on me, but did nothing. I took in a deep breath and composed myself, forcing more words to form on my lips so that they could be spoken.

"My name is Hollie. I was wondering if you would consider leaving your home here and coming to stay with me. I know I don't look like much, but the fact is that I'm a very warm-hearted person and I could take very good care of you outside the cave." I was slowly getting more confident, and my heart was starting to beat rapidly in my chest. I was really doing this, and there was a chance that this fabulous creature could come home with me. I focused my hazel eyes on his again and swept my dirty blonde hair from my face before taking in a deep breath.

"I am seventeen years old and I play softball in my spare time. I go to school just like everyone else, but I actually enjoy learning. I believe I could learn a lot from you, and hopefully you could learn some things from me, if you would give me the chance to take you with me." I swallowed hard and glanced down at the floor as I wrung my hands in on each other. The whole time I spoke he hadn't said a word, and I saw that as a bad sign. I waited patiently there, hoping he would come with me, because if he didn't, I would be crushed.

Why I would be a good mod: I've had experience as a moderator on other sites and as mini-mod on CS. I found this thread a couple of days after you opened it, and have been following it ever since. I'm usually online for much of the day and can handle problems as they come up. I am always civil to other users on the thread, but I am firm enough to step in when needed. I am reasonable about what I say and considerate of others. In addition, if requested, I can help other users with their forms.

Why I would be a good mod: I would be a good mod becasue I am kind, tolerant, patient and I know how to deal with trouble makers withou having them kick a huge fuss that they werent doing anything. I quite enjoy being a mod its really uplifiting for my mood and it helps me to relax.

~Why I would be a good mod~

You know I have been waiting for this moment all of my life Onyx<3 I actually love being a mod, I'm always popping up on TWG90's wolf lineart telling them they need the watermarks. I really love being a mod, going around CS helping people that need help, I am always doing it, I just really love Modding, beacuse I am on CS as much as I can, I'm always on everyday of the week I can.

I promise that I will be Kind, and Paitent, I will guide them into the right way with their stories. I also understand that I need to warn them about Posting off topic, but I will still be gentle, and willing to forgive. I do try to be paitent with them before I start to get to them, but I do still be alright when they still are refusing. I always am checking every thread that I am close to, like this one. I'm always checking it, answering questions, Telling them what they can and can't do.

I have done a lot of amazing places, but I simply love this place, It's my dream to work here. I stay up till 10:00 and wait till customs are over xD I must say, It would really be an honor to be a mini-Mod, I know you said you'd never need help, I thought you wouldn't either. But now I finally have a chance, and I really can't screw up now. I know I may seem a little non-Mature, but I swear, when I mod I am very different. I know I am not laughing, unless It is some joke, which cannot be off topic, and I am serious, but open armed to the one needing assistance.

I have been modding ever since 2009, but I do hope you'd consider me. I am very honest, which every honest mod needs. Also, I'd love to write for this place and stuff, I spend a lot of time here, No pointing fingers! xD I know that I can't be the 'perfect mod' no one is, but I do know I can be a good one.

A few Adopts, maybe four Role Plays, maybe 2 species, a lot more, but I do pop in once in a while around CS, so I guess this is just a fair amount of ones I know xD If you do want me telling the names, I will go hunt them down.

Why I would be a good mod: I'd like to be a mod because I stalk visit this thread a lot. I know the difference between right and wrong, the CS rules, and the rules and information of this thread. I'd love to be a mod, just mainly because I love to help out. ^^ I am well aware of the things mods need to do, watch for art theft, tell if someone asks, "are customs open?" yes or no, or even just answering the simple questions the best I can while you're offline.
Other mod positions I've held: I'm a mod on BeVibrant, a website, and I used to mod Twisted Transistors one artshop. So basically, as of now, I really know about what being a mod is.
