Hikaru bounced through the neighborhood, her empty bag hooked onto her shoulder. She was very excited for Halloween ; in fact, she had been looking forward to the event for quite a long time. Since he moved into the town a few months ago it was her first time here. Grinning, she sped through the streets. She glanced around, searching for houses with bright lights. It was unusually dark but she assumed they were just making it spooky. "Hey, wait up!" A familiar voice rang into her ears. She noticed immediately that it was her friend, Cone. She halted into a stop and waited for him. "Sorry 'bout that," she apologized, her ears slightly flicking. Once he caught up with her, she strolled over to the nearest house. She couldn't wait any longer, although there weren't much houses with light. Raising her body, she pressed her paws against the doorbell. "Trick or treat!"

It's just a costume, it's just a costume, it's just a costume, I repeated to myself. I've always loved Halloween as a a pup, but while growing up into a young wolfie, its been getting bigger and more difficult th hide under a simple costume. This year, I got lazy so all I have is this tree, or it. "Nice costume, tree back!", snickered a wolfie walking past. Remember, Autumn. It's just a costume, yeah just a regular, ordinary Halloween costume. I looked at my empty bag, a sad, empty, scraggly old sack. I laughed. He, I guess that's me. I looked around at all the smiling faces, with normal costumes and bags full of goodies, and a few light houses. I started to approach a small, medium decorated house. It had fake tombstones, a smiling family of pumpkins, and a headless horseman inflatable. I lightly knocked on the door. I said holding out my bag and putting on a fake smile, "Trick or Treat!"
