The species guidelines don't mention what types of special features are allowed. It says "no rainbow manes" but that's it. The special features part of the custom form says "crystal hooves" but those aren't mentioned in the species guidelines either. In Loki lover's defense a fire mane does seem like it would fit a horned horse from hell and crystal hooves don't seem natural, so maybe it would be a good idea to add in a list of what types of special features are found on Narakari.

This is what stands in the customs section:

It’s impossible to remove the black mark, e.g. or to get something unnatural like a rainbow mane.

Additionally this can be found in the species characteristics:

[...] The eyes usually have the same colours as the horns. Like a Marwari they have curved ears.Their coats have the same colors as normal horse species. But there are some things different. [...]

If I mention every example for unnatural things we'd get a wall of text that is even longer.
Furthermore I see no reason for a defense. I just told her why I could not accept her request and suggested to read the facts about Narakari.

Edit: Maybe I should mention that you can always ask questions if you are unsure or something is not clear.

Wait..I can get a Narakari with crystal hooves, like it's horns? Wow...I need one with sapphire hooves...O.o.

Yep.
In rare cases they even appear in our premade adopts. (There are already a hand full of Narakari with this feature.) But they are a bit rare... maybe because I don't like crystal hooves as much as normal ones. ^^'

I did read that actually, and that is why I made my suggestion. I didn't mean that you should write all of the unnatural things that are not allowed because you're right, that would be too much. I meant that you could mention what kinds of changes are allowed because it isn't very clear based on the information that is given there. Are crystal hooves the only special feature that is allowed?

If you take a look at the given example you'll see crystal hooves are not the only possible feature.
A list for this would be huge as well. Features can be as various as unnatural things, e.g crystal hooves, a blind eye, bi-coloured eyes, hooves with natural stripes, scars, a pale streak in the mane... and so on...
As I already said the best would be to ask.
Additionally such lists would provide hunts on special features. Ask yourself, would this really be cool? I don't think so. Or do you really want such things like blue roan "hunts" that we know from other species?

Crystal hooves have the same colour as horns and eyes. For most crystal colours that would be visible. Karnes Livian is a pretty good example:

(Ok, she has some special eyes, too. That's because Karne simply deserved it)
Until now there were no "hidden" crystal hooves where the crystals look similar to regular ones. And don't think there will be such secret ones in future. A hidden special without being or looking special isn't funny.
