I was just wondering: Do our custom orders have to be claimed to be done? Or do artists just choose if they wanna do an order or not?

when a custom order is "claimed", that's basically just our artists' way of saying to other artists, "I'm working on this custom, so please don't do it!" so that we don't end up with a custom being made twice and time being lost in doing so. so the answer to your question would be kind-of yes, because artists have to claim owls before doing them.
If that makes any sense.
