I imagine they'd be more like a primitive human tribe, so there would be hunters, gatherers, possibly a shaman sort of role, possibly a chief (most early human groups didn't though), and elders. They might also have artisans or smilis who make things, since they use traps and have jewelry and painting. In early human societies there wouldn't be any specific 'babysitter', so with smilis maybe the whole group would look out for the younger cubs, or perhaps young adults would be left in charge of them. That's all purely speculation though - only Spotty knows for sure. ^^
