Have you not heard of me, the ruler of
the mighty IceClan?Gender: Male (tom)
Can you not pick up a scent?? I'm a tom!Breed/Species:
Cat
To be more specific, I am a warrior catAge:
34 moons (months)
I'm young for a leader, aren't I?Personality:
I am an amazing leader. I will die to protect my clan.
I am a great hunter and fighter, and I am loyal.
I am always fair, and my intelligence is great.
I am VERY humble and fierce. I have no weakness! Umm.. Lonestar?
Yes? ... I think you might be missing stuff. Can I take over?
I guess..Lonestar is pretty arrogant. He is smart, loyal, and a great fighter and hunter yes,
But he likes to think to highly of himself. He feels that it is weak to admit your flaws, and he hates asking for help.
He is not very humble, as you can tell! His weaknesses? He is totally soft on kits.
He adore them, and he loves to play with them. If a kit is in danger, we would die to save them.
He only recently became leader, and has lost no lives yet. But he would pull out
all his whiskers for any clan mate, even to most annoying warriors.
He is such a softie once you know him-
Silence you fool! Don't listen to her! I am extremely humble! Lonestar-
SHUSH..oh yeah, and he can be just a tad bit mean sometimes.
Grr...Background/History:
Well, Lonestar scratched me pretty bad,
I better let him take over for now.
I was born in a litter of 4 kits.
My mother is- no was called Doveshine.
She was so kind and gentle. She loved us a lot.
My sisters were named Nightkit, Smokekit, and Blackkit.
My father, Cloudpelt, named me Lonekit because I was the only tom,
and I was the only one who wasn't jet black.
One day, Nightkit snuck out of the nursery into the woods.
She wanted to hunt. She came home with the biggest moth I have ever seen.
I was impressed. a quarter moon later she went out again. But this time,
the rest of us came too. We went all the way to a river, and we decided to try and catch
a fish to give our mother.I would give so much to relive that day and stop my littermates from going.
But it happened, and I have to live with it. We dabbed our tiny paws in the water, squealing. We had tones of fun!
But, what we didn't know was that part of the river was called Badger river.
Smokekit saw them first. She gave a scared squeaked, and I whipped around to see the huge, lumbering beast.
the badger swatted Smokekit and Blackkit. He went for me and Nightkit, but missed.
Me and Nightkit raced away, badger at out tails. I felt it's breath on my tail, and I prepared for the worst.
A loud yowl split the air. A huge white tom cat lunged at the badger. It was Cloudpelt!
He hissed as he smacked into it, sinking his claws in its face. The badger shock him off and raced away as fast as it could go.
He took us back to camp and the clan leader at the time, Barkstar, sent a search party for Blackkit and Smokekit.
But they were dead. My mother was frantic. She was so sad and solemn..
I felt horrible.
A moon later, my and my surviving sister became apprentices. I was determined to protect Nightpaw.
We went through our apprenticeship rapidly. We were strong young cats.
Doveshine was so proud. I felt nothing could go wrong. Life was perfect.
But, of course, disaster had to strike.
You see, Iceclan was a lone clan. We had no other clans in the area.
We didn't patrol borders as often as we should have.
A couple of rouges, cats who have no clan, came to hunt on Iceclan territory.
I was hunting with Doveshine, her new apprentice Leopardpaw,Nightpaw and her mentor Mousewing, and my mentor, Finchsong.
"What do you scent, Lonepaw?" Finchsong asked. I took a deep sniff and cried "rouges!"
The bushes in front of us rattled as 2 huge cat leaped out. "What are you two doing on our territory!"
Doveshine cried. One of the cats snarled at Nightpaw, and I leaped at him, not wanting her to be hurt.
Well, that was a dumb idea. He bit my shoulder and slammed me down. Finchsong and Mousewing rushed at him, but Doveshine got there first. She tried to bite the rouges throat, but his companion knocked him aside and sank his claws deep into her neck.
Mousewing and Finchsong fought off the rouges while Leopardpaw and Nightpaw raced to get help. I stayed by my mothers side.
"Please Doveshine.. when we get back to camp I will give you your favorite food, sparrow. And the medicine cats will fix you up.
Please! We need you! I need you! The whole clan needs you!" I kept talking to her for so long, even thought the
gentle cat's breathing had already stopped.
In the moons that passed, I was a shell. I became a warrior named Loneheart,
But I didn't care. I was distant. I was cruel. Nightpaw Had become Nightwind.
Leopardpaw became. Leopardtail. But that didn't matter.
All that mattered was that my mother was gone.
Nightwind began to ignore me. I was being to harsh.
My clan mates avoided me. Except for Leopardtail.
She cared for me. She would be the only cat the willingly hunt and patrol with me.
She was very gentle to me.
A tom called Sharpfern fell in love with her, and began to do anything for her.
I was mad. No, I wasn't just mad. I was the most jealous cat in the clan.
I changed myself. I stopped being cruel. I was helpful, not a burden.
I did it for Leopardtail. Sharpfern died of sickness, and Leopard was sad.
She didn't love him, But he was her friend.
One day I invited her to go for a walk with me.
I had gotten an apprentice named Mudpaw. Leopardtail had an apprentice named Barkpaw,
After Barkstar who was the apprentices uncle. Bu we left our apprentices at camp.
We ran around together and played. It was a cold day, filled with more snow than normal.
We grew tired and collapsed into the snow. We pressed together.
"Leopardtail" I whispered. "Yes, Loneheart?"
"I think I love you" So much for romance.
" Stupid fur ball," she purred "I love you to"
Half a moon later, our deputy, Whitewhisker,
decided to retire.
I was in utter shock when old Barkstar asked me to be his new deputy.
Of course, I accepted. I served him for seasons.
But Barkstar was getting so old. He was weak.
He was on his way to hunt alone, but a fox got him.
He was on his last life. He died.
When Cloudpelt dragged his body into camp, I felt a cold claw in my heart.
Barkstar had been leader since I was born, and now he was gone.
He mottled brown fur was stained with blood.
I mourned him.
Then, the next day, our medicine cat Snowpool called me to him.
We had to go to the Crystal Cave, the place where we dream of our dead kin.
We call the place the go to Starclan. I went with Snowpool to the bright cave, and rested on the floor, and fell asleep.
As a leader, Starclan gives you nine lives, so you can serve your clan longer.
I awoke in Starclan. I gazed at the cat spits, smelling of night. Stars flickered in their fur and eyes.
"welcome, Loneheart." A voice whispered in my head.
A dark grey and black cat walked forward.
It was Doveshine! "With this life, I give you hope. It will be their always, even in the darkest hour, hope will shine like the brightest star." Doveshine pressed her nose to my head. I felt as light as air, filled with a quiet determination. A gleaming
light flashed in my eyes. Next, Smokekit walked up to me. Her eyes showed wisdom beyond her age.
"With this life, I give you awareness. Use it to protect you clan." I remembered how she was the one who spotted the badger. She stretched up and touched her nose to my head. I felt my senses sharpen rapidly, and a flare of fear filled me. I wanted to whip around and protect my sister. Then, I felt a horrible pain and a burst of panic. I realized that was what Smokekit felt in the last moments of her to short life. Blackkit came next. "with this life, I give you a mothers love. Use it to protect your clan." I was severely unprepared for the pain that shot through me. I felt a severe agony, a fierce hatred for those how hurt the weak. The pain slowly went away.
Next, Barkstar walked up. "with this life I give you courage, you know how to use it." A bolt of fearlessness rippled through my heart.
The next 5 lives I received were from older Starclan cats I did not know.
After that, The voice in my head appeared. " I hail you by your new name, Lonestar.
May you serve your clan for countless moons to come"
That was 3 moons ago. Now, I feel peace. I know my clan would fight by my side no matter what. They would
stand by me to the death. Leopardtail is expecting my kittens. Nightwind is my deputy.
Cloudpelt has retired to the elders den, though her still goes hunting with me time to time.
I realized that this is the reward for staying strong.
If I had let disasters ruin my soul, I would be a shell of a cat.
Life moves on, even if you don't want it to.
My advice to you is to use your sadness to propel yourself forward in life. The longer you stay in the pit of
unhappiness, the harder it is to get out.Use: My main character, stories, art,
