Like everyone else applying for the Daeets this round, I really like the description you put for this Daeet. I love having battle scarred characters, actually most of characters have some scar or mar somewhere on their person, so I immediately feel in love with this guy. I have no idea what he looks like or if he is as scarred as I think he is, but I know for a fact I will love this little guy along with all of my other Daeets.
Desired name:
Sunburst
I don't know what exactly he looks like, so I named him after the the description. I imagined him as a sun, or at least bright like the sun. His name also represents his personality, warm and friendly.
Age:
Sunburst is a young adult, so around 22 years of age. He still acts like a child though and it can through some people off.
Personality:
Carefree||Childish||Impish||Caring
Sunburst is a really sweet Daeet. He loves making friends and hanging out with just about any who is as fun as him. He hates the slow life and really can't be still for more than a few moments. He stops only to sleep or eat and even than he twitches and fidgets. Sunny is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention. His fun loving personality and sweet nature can make him hard to ignore and even harder to hate. The grumpiest of creatures find it hard to not crack a smile around this goofy boy.
History:
"C'mon, slowpoke!"
His powerful paws allowed him to shoot through the dense forest at startling speeds. His bright colored fur flowed behind him and his tongue lolled out of his mouth like an excited dog. His younger sister ran ahead, just out side of his reach. Her dainty paws padded against the ground at a much swifter rate than his. Their laughter mingled together and rang clearly through the green trees.

However, something was really wrong. The quicker he ran, the further his sister got ahead of him. Eventually, she disappeared ahead into the bushes. Sunburst kept running, confused and bewildered. "Aveline?" He called out, his voice high-pitched with worry and fear. Her laughter was all around him and he could still hear her footsteps head of him. He tried to speed up but his pawsteps had become sluggish and slow. Everything was slow, there was no wind.

His blood ran cold when he heard an earsplitting shriek cut through the still air. "Aveline!!" He tried to run hard, willed his tired muscles to carry further and faster, but he felt as if stones were tied to his paws. Everything grew hot, red, and painful. Fire was everywhere, destroying everything it touched. Smoke clogged the sky, making his eyes burn and his lungs hurt. His sister's cries rung in his ears. "AVELINE!"


The bright furred daeet jerked awake. His sides heaved with the effort to catch his breath. Outside his cave, snow fell slowly, silently to the ground. He slowly got to his paws and made his way to the entrance of the cave. The stars shown brightly in the sky and tears formed in the corners of his dark eyes. A small sigh escaped his lips and formed a small cloud in the frosty air. "I'm sorry..."

Sorry this isn't the best in the world. I was on my phone for most of it. I almost wanted to just give up but I would kick myself for not going for this guy later. Even if I don't win, I will feel better knowing that I at least tried. ^^
