Baloo glanced at his two volunteers to help him search for Zeke and the fireworks. He flicked his ears.
"Hello! You must be Jay and Amun. I'm Baloo, if you didn't know that." he yipped, trying to do introductions quick. He padded toward three alleys, glancing back at them. "Which alley do you guys want to try? 1, 2, or 3?" Baloo asked, with quite a curious/puzzled look on his face. He was ready to get the mission started. Who knows what could happen to Zeke at night.

"Oh, oh-" Baloo said with a joy filled tone. He knew these dogs were John and Nepeta; quite popular in a certain dog-comic.
"Helloo! I'm Baloo, pleased to meet you both." Baloo barked, introducing himself quick. He glanced toward the green dog with the blue hat.
"Nepeta, right?" he added, and then turned to the blue dog with buck teeth. "Anddd John." Baloo said, smiling. He wagged his small tail, excited to start their mission. He padded a few feet in front of them.
"We can go right, left, or up this alleyway. It looks dark in the alley, though- I think there's some critters."

Balsatour jolts his head up in surprise, he wasn't really paying much attention until Baloo spoke. He looks over at the canine who looked similar to him then smiles politely, "Your right, we do look alike." Balsatour had his head tilted down a bit giving him a less intimidating and more relaxed look, he slightly pulls his striped scarf closer to his neck and barks out as quietly as he could, "I would love to help you but um so we are looking for your friend right? I hope there are no monsters out here...its so dark" he shivers a bit, his tail was drooped down showing his nervousness of the unfamiliar territory but never the less he was there to help. Balsatour slightly perks up to the question from Baloo, he thought deeply to himself..left or right? Inside he knew he would always go with right though left was tempting. After a while he barks out, "What about right? It looks a bit more safer...what do you think?" He knew regardless of safe or not staying close to Baloo would be the best choice.

Baloo was glad he had a companion to help him search for the green dog and the fireworks.
"Yep, searching for Zeke or fireworks. And, I'm pretty sure there's no monsters- I could be wrong though." he replied, lifting his head before lowering it back down. He hoped he didn't scare Balsatour with his opinion about the monsters.
"Alright, right it is!" He answered, turning his head to Balsatour, smiling. He started walking into the very dimly lit street of the right, alert for any sounds or movements.
"Hey!" Baloo jumped slightly, feeling a small breeze whip right past him. He shuddered.
"Did you feel that Balsatour?" he said quietly.

Celestia gave a smile. "Down the alleyway sounds good" She happily said.

"Alright, princess!" he said, and hopped down the alleyway. It was cold, and rather dark. He looked over at the princess.
"It looks so dark. I can barely see a thing-" Baloo barked, before hitting a garbage can. He shook his head before moving to the side. Flicking his ears, he felt there was something in front of them. He ignored it, and padded forward.
"Looks like we can turn right from here. Or keep going straight." he mumbled, looking at the right, then down the alley.

Balsatour nods shivering a bit, "T-think it could be something near by?" He looks at the dim street lights, then steps a bit closer to Baloo. "M-maybe we should check it out?" Balsatour whines, trying not to just bolt out of the area. The second something creepy jumps out I'm out of here he thought to himself but then inside he felt a bit guilty, what if something bad happened to Baloo the moment he leaves or what if he gets lost with his friend. Balsatour shakes his head, trying to clear the negative thoughts but at least he now knew he couldn't just run away and leave Baloo to fend for himself.

Jay dipped his head to Baloo then tilted his head reaching up to itch his right ear shaking his head and looking at the other dog, that Baloo had named as Amun. He wagged his tail slightly his ears perking at Baloo's voice, getting down low to the ground and acting like he was sniffing around he came to the third alley lifted his head up and signaled with a bark he wanted to go that way. His ears were perking waiting for a reply from Amun and Baloo. His nose twitch excitedly as the brute waited with shining ebony hues. Jay wasnt a guy of word more of action muttering a few words from time to time.

Amun took a quick glance at where Jay was positioned, his ears flicking. "Perhaps we should try the third alley, Baloo, as it seems that Jay wishes to go and search there." Having said that, he sat down, tail sweeping back and forth across the ground.

That was really exciting; John couldn't wait to get home and tell Karkat about this. Except not, because Karkat was a butt, and he'd probably complain about 'creepy stalkers' or something stupid like that. So he wouldn't tell Karkat about this; just like he wouldn't tell Karkat he had spent the day with Nepeta, cause how many times had his boyfriend ranted about Nepeta? A lot!
"Uhm. Well, I'm totally not scared of a few critters! I mean, as long as they're not imps. Ugh, imps. But uh. What about you Nepeta?? Wanna risk facing some unnamed critters or go a safe route?" He inquired, turning to blink at her with a buck-toothed smile.
