Name: Anemoia
Reason(s) behind the Name: In Greek Mythology, 'Anemoi' are Wind Gods. Seeing as this Goennec seems to be a spirit/wind like type (looking at her design, that was my first impression x3), and also seeing as I couldn't seem to find a rather feminine name for her that was related with the Anemoi, I decided to put a 'a' on the end, and ended up naming her Anemoia.

Why do you want this Goennec?

Anemoia presents a unique and special opportunity for me - when the Halloween round opened, I didn't really expect to try out for a Hallo Goey, since I'm not really a Halloween person. But then Anemoia's design and her abnormality caught my eye. How could I pass such an opportunity up? 

It'll be pretty interesting to have a character who appears on a wind current one minute, then gone the next, whispering demonic words in her victim's ears, to claw at their heartstrings. To lie and to cheat, to hurt and to torment. To be a character to is mentally ill, to dive into the head, emotions, and reasoning of the realm beyond the physical world. To bring alive one of the most overlooked Halloween mysteries.

She's a character I would like to explore in more depth through art, 1x1 RPs, legends, and the Main RP. She has the perfect personality and design for the plans I have in store for her. Anemoia's design is also why I want her, since her design seems to flow, the curls and the swirls of the fur that gave me the impression of a spirit with the love of wind, and her colour scheme is what lured me in. Who can't possibly resist a character that blends in with the most murky, windy days?

How would you use this character?

Anemoia will listed amongst my other characters, and will join my Goennec herd to be cherished and loved just like any other character of mine. Due to her rather unique design and opportunities she presents, I'll be definitely chucking her into the main Goey RP and in a few 1x1s if I can find the opportunities to.

Personality:

If one (unlucky) Goennec had to sum up Anemoia in a sentence, they'd most likely say that underneath her skin-deep beauty she is an extremely violent-tempered, cocky, stuck-up, wind-loving shadow spirit. And indeed, she is.

Anemoia is extremely violent-tempered, often screeching and throwing a ghastly fit whenever something crosses her, however small. She will follow the Goennec, or the herd of Goennecs, who caused her strife for as long as she can, and she'll screech at them. Most of the time, her screeches aren't powerful enough to be audible to a Goey's ears since she isn't projecting them in the right way out of her rage, but if they listen closely, they can hear angry clashing of teeth, a string of foreign gibberish, and furious screams that will probably make their head hurt if they listen for too long.

For those very rare few Anemoia has communicated with on a friendly basis, they say she's extremely egotistical, often boosting about her (few) mortal achievements from 'back in the day', how each Goennec generation is declining and becoming more and more horrible by the year. She can hardly go 5 minutes without commenting on the flaws of her conversation partner, and is extremely blunt and lacks the ability to pick up emotion apart from pain. No sort of extreme emotion can reach her, since whatever caused her to be cold, so withdrawn has obviously worked very well and knocks aside any attempt to warm her heart aside quite easily.

For those who are unlucky enough to even step into Anemoia's path, it's a different story. She appears in the breath of wind, riding the currents, to step off and whisper into their ears a string of insults directed to dig out their deepest emotional monsters to wreck havoc. No matter where the Goey turns, where there's wind, there's Anemoia. She tends to target old, frazzled or female/highly emotional Goeys - or her favorites - the 'medium' Goeys who can sense spirits to a certain degree. Any Goennec that gives her a buzz, who falls prey to her emotional taunting, will fall victim to her, and she'll enjoy every millisecond of it. One of her reasons of why she loves to taunt mortals so much is because she's jealous of them - how come they get to live such a peaceful, undisturbed emotional and physical life? She didn't get that opportunity, so should they? is her reasoning.

The only time Anemoia is peaceful is when she is underneath a fruit tree or alone with the wind. Anemoia has found her sanctuary, her special place, in the beauty of the fruit trees and in the wind. When she was a mere mortal, she'd visit the most windy place or the place with the most fruit trees to feel or admire their immense beauty to escape from her own emotional torture that came from her very core, deep inside, the place that words can't describe.

Likes:

• The Four Winds (North, East, South, West) - The sole reason why Anemoia had been bestowed with her namesake while she was mortal was because she would always stand on the top of the highest point (hill, mountain) in the early hours of the morning, watching the sun rise and feeling all four corners of the wind playing with her fur. No Goey really knows why Anemoia loves the wind so much. When her heart had refused to beat any longer, she had refused to leave her earthly bounds and left her imprint on the Earth on which she had once walked, purely for her love of the wind and for her love of tormenting others.
• Emotionally Taunting/Unsettling Others - This has to be one of Anemoia's favourite pasttimes - and also the reason why she left an imprint of herself on the places on which she once walked. Nothing brings her greater pleasure than to see a Goennec break down so much that they had reached a dark place beyond return, the place she had been many moons ago. 
• All Fruit - Even though she can no longer taste them, when Anemoia has free time, she'll often let the wind's fingers carry her to a secluded fruit tree, and she'll gaze at the ripened fruit with a deep seated hunger in her hollow eyes. She often tries to lick or bite into the fruit, but to no luck. 
• Nighttime, 3:00am in particular - Anemoia finds nighttime the best time to torment some (very) unlucky Goennec. She finds her coat Colour blends in so well with the darkness of the night's own fur, and the instinct buried deep down inside every daytime mammal that tells them to seek safety helps her torment her victims. Since they can't see where she is, and they have the additional fear of the dark and what she might (but cannot) do adds to their fear and distress.

Dislikes:

• Happy Goennecs - Anemoia finds these Goennecs the hardest to pull down into the emotional rocks of despair, and often avoids these sorts. If a Geonnec wants to avoid her, before the sun sets, they'll often seek out the happiest herd member and stick by their side during the night until Anemoia fades back into the retreating shadows as the sun rises. The night is her favourite time to terrorize Goennecs, but her fun is dashed and she sneaks back into the night to find another victim when she sees who her victim is with.
• Winter - Even though winter brings her cold, bitter winds to use to torment her usual victims, she despises seeing the 'death' of her beloved fruit trees. To see them naked, bare, painfully tears at the space where her emotional heart should be. She often spends most of her time underneath the most gnarled, oldest, and most fruit-bearing tree in that area, rocking herself back and forth.
• Happiness - Even though Anemoia can barely sense it, when it's strong enough, it tortures her to hear the sound of laughter. Why? Why do they get the pleasure of happiness, when she is so deprived of it? It simply wasn't fair. Despite her strong feelings of violent hate towards the happy Goennecs, she steers clear of them. They just seem so.. Pure. Impossible to take down to crash into the emotional rocks.

(Deepest) Dreams & Desires:

• (Impossible) To become mortal again, but only for a short period of time - Anemoia has long forgotten the sweet taste and crunch of a ripe apple, or some other fruit she once enjoyed when she was mortal, and she would happily give up immortality and her torment of mortal Goennecs just for one more mortal day.
• To meet another Shadow Spirit/Spiritual Goennec who has been through experiences similar to hers - Even though Anemoia may come off as heartless, she's curious to see if there's another Goennec like her. Maybe, just maybe.. There's always that little seed of hope planted deep inside her, to find the key to the vault of truth and let the demons out.

Deepest Nightmares & Fears:

• (Impossible) That one day the wind will stop blowing - Being an immortal that relies on the wind for comfort and a large majority of her transport, it would be disastrous for her emotionally and physically if she ever lost the wind at her back. The thought is so chilling that Anemoia will often take a break from tormenting Goennecs, to enjoy the wind in its purest form.
• The Siv - For some reason, Anemoia is afraid to the death of the Siv. There's something about the purity, the new beginnings, that just makes her turn her tail and run for the windiest place possible. Maybe it's because of all the deeply hidden inner violence directed at herself, or maybe it's because she's been so.. evil for so long.

Story:

Nighttime had clawed its way across the sky, hiding the Earth from the moon's gaze. Tonight was cloudy, blocking most of the moonlight from seeping through. To add to the gloom, a strong wind accompanied the darkness, running alongside it, hand-in-hand. 

Light sapphire eyes twinkled.

It was the perfect night for the spirits to come out and play, for the ghosts to try and warn the mortals.. For the nightmares to come out and play with your head. A rather small Goennec herd was asleep on a wide plain, occasionally shifting their weights to a different leg and snorting. A rather young, male, Goey kid was wide awake on the outskirts of the herd, staring at the place where a blue-gray blur had flashed by.

Light sapphire eyes twinkled.

The young kid snorted nervously as a finger of wind hit his hindquarters, running over his back, up to his head, along with unaudible gibberish that made a shiver pass down his spine. He snapped his head to try and look to his right, where his mother had been sleeping. But she wasn't there, neither were the other Goennecs. Instead, a black Goennec stood in front of him instead. The wind seemed to roll off her body, taking bits of her fur as they went. Gray-blue swirls ran across her body, as if the wind had tattooed its pattern into her very flesh.

Anemoia's light sapphire eyes twinkled.

The kid froze with terror, he didn't know this Goennec. He had only heard of her from his playmates, but then they had treated it like a joke. His instincts were fighting each other - should he run? Should he fight? Or should he just give in?

Anemoia leaned in to whisper something into the little kid's ear, and he stiffened even more.

Anemoia's light sapphire eyes twinkled.

We're going to have some fun tonight, little one.

I'm not a mod, but I'm going to guess that it would be alright then. I think June {if I actually saw this post correctly before} just means those who are in the roleplay and had wanted a baby from the Siv or something.

But then again, I'm not super close to June or anything, so I don't know for sure. ^-^

The only one that's been restricted by how active you are on the RP is the one that's up for adoption on the RP boards.

No, the roleplay won't have anything to do with forms posted here for normal adoptions. The only round roleplay activity counts for is for the special round being held on the RP site for a different goennec.
