Name You'd Choose for It: Kotah {Koe-Tah}
Gender: Female.
Reason You Want It: The first time she was donated, I loved her immediately, but I never really got round to writing a form for her. I am delighted that she's up for adoption again, so I can try for her. To me, she stands for so much I believe in. I'm a firm vegetarian, and have always had a soft spot for cows. Her design of cherry blossoms represents hope, and a light at the end of the road for me, and I was instantly drawn to her. Her pendant is beautiful, her colours are beautiful, everything about her is beautiful. If I got her, she would be treasured amongst my most favourite characters, and I would cherish and use her daily. Thank you for considering me!

Reason You Want It:

Everything about this character is perfect. Ze is absolutely gorgeous, and would fit in perfectly with Kri, Harvest, and their story. If won, Hoshiko would be a beloved headmate of mine, would be drawn and written about often, and would be given a place in the character thread that I'm still working on creating.
I remember when this character was first donated, and I remember regretting not trying for hir when I had the chance to. I'm so very thankful that I now have another opportunity to call this character my own; I can promise that ze will be forever treasured and loved.

History/Background/Other:

[personality]

Thoughtful - Hoshiko thinks things through before choosing a course of action, and, unlike hir twin, rarely does things rashly. This may delay things a bit at times, but hir meticulous habits often help hir to get out of tough situations.

Compassionate - Hoshi treats those around hir, spirits and otherwise, with great kindness and compassion. This, of course, is a required trait in a spirit-guide, but ze has a tendency to go above and beyond hir requirements, showering the spirits around her with sympathy and kindness.

Gentle - This 'star-child' treasures the lives of those who are living and those who are dead. Ze is never aggresive towards others, but rather likes to work things out in a calm, peaceful manner. Ze fears the idea of harming someone, and is always extremely careful around others, including hir own twin.

Intelligent - Experienced and equipped with a sharp mind, Hoshi is able to quickly solve most problems thrown at hir, and knows much about the worlds that ze and Kri travel through.

Quiet - When not around Kri, Harvest, Hoshi is quite quiet. Ze isn't withdrawn or anything like that, but simply does not always see the need for elaborate words.

Elegant - Hoshi speaks and acts in a very delicate, elegant way; not at all like that of hir twin. Ze isn't weak or anything of that sort, but simply doesn't like to partake in displays of physical might.

Needy - Just as Kri needs Hoshiko, Hoshiko needs Kri. Their souls 'feed' off of the presence of the other, and to be without the other for too long would be to have one's soul disolve. In addition, Hoshi does thrive off the emotional and physical attention that hir twin gives hir, and has a tendency of becoming agitated and distressed when kri is not around.

Loving - Hoshiko has an endless reserve of love for hir twin, and though ze doesn't like to physically display it, treasures hir Other above all else.


[relationships]

Acristos [Kri] - Hoshiko and Acristos are many things; siblings, twins, partners, friends, lovers; and as they see it, soul-mates. They work very well together, and share a deep bond of trust, honesty, and understanding that they have with no others. When they quarrel, it's in a joking manner, as neither can stay angry at their Other for long. Hoshiko loves Kri very much, and though ze may act annoyed by the affection that Kri showers on hir, ze really doesn't mind the attention. Hoshiko is very protective of Kri, and will go to great lengths to defend hir beloved twin.

Harvest - Harvest and Hoshiko are very close friends. Hoshiko trusts her with hir secrets, and goes to her for advice when ze is in need of it. When visiting Earth, Hoshi spends the majority of hir time speaking with her when ze's not off with Kri. They enjoy swapping riddles and discussing philosophical things; and, when Kri is around to influence them in such a manner, don't mind simply partaking in simplistic fun.

[history]

Hoshiko and Acristos are 'star-childen,' crafted by the stars themselves. They were not born, did not grow up, will not grow old, and will not die. The two of them are not even alive, but are simply embodiments of the pieces and offerings of many stars.

They were made to need the other, as their souls feed off the presence of the other, and therefore were given the same 'job.' The two of them, as partners, are 'spirit-guides;' they have the responsibility of accompanying deserving souls on their journey to the afterlife.

The graveyard at El Alamein, Egypt; guarded and protected by Harvest the Daedr, serves as their 'home-base.' When not on duty, they remain there with her, and assist her in the process of encouraging the souls lingerig there to move on to the afterlife.

Together; Hoshiko and Kri make a whole, without their Other they would be lost. Not alive and not dead; they are immortal in a way, and therefore are quite curious as to what their forever future holds. Whatever they have to face, though, they'll face it together.

i am very pleased with the fact that this little ferret is getting his much deserved attention ^U^

when adopting; lets say another user goes for another pet that you liked. with their permission, would we be able to create a dual story? [one that intermingles with the other; both characters are involved but only the one we go for seems to really be the one mostly written about ]

I was considering going for the cow (I've missed her xD ), but seeing the forms already up for her, I'm pleased and I can see she's grabbing the interest of good homes so I'll just wish you all luck~ x3

It's basically taking a picture of what's on your screen through use of a built-in 'printscreen' system. :] If you're on a PC, there should be a little button right up above the backspace that says 'prtsc sysrq'. press it to take a snapshot of the permission PM and upload the image to an image host site like Photobucket or Tinypic (both are free to use).
If you have a Mac, I can't help since I have no idea how they work. xD
