With the sound of excited chatter, three different voices made the brightly colored Syhran known as they came into the clearing. The three of them looked around happily, the distinct difference in their tones making their personalities known as they introduced themselves. "I am Kiyan!" The red male introduced himself first, his voice proud and expectant, bordering on vain. "I am Mira," the blue and gold female said after him, her voice soft and alluring, her eyes kind and welcoming. The red and maroon female was the last to speak, her head and tail low. "My name is Iya," she said shyly, her siblings urging her on. "We are all here to seek companions, so please, feel free to approach us!" Kiyan announced finally as the three moved farther into the clearing, young Iya seeming to hide behind her more confident brother and sister.

Will you be giving them a nickname? If so, what is it?

[I will be using my character,Angel, for the this woo. :3]
I swatted at a cloud of gnats that hovered just infront of my vision. The bothersome insects had been following me, desperate to drink at the sweat that beaded across my skin. It was hot! So hot in this thick, inpenatrable jungle. I had been traveling for days, mostly walking because my delicate wings were unable to carry me above the forest canopy that streatched high above my head. I curled the feathery appendages close to my back, afraid other creatures might attack them.
Where was I? The slavers had carried me far from my mountain home. I barely had managed to escape, my life was saved because of the slavers' fear of the jungle. What was out here that scared them. I shivered violently, suddenly chilled at the thought of something stalking me. Some dreadful beast bent of making me his next meal. I quickened my pace, desperate to find my way out of this jungle.
---
I felt faint, my mind was muddled from lack of water. I was tired, my body was weak and my limbs felt rubbery, but I was too afraid to even think about sleeping. A creeping, dreadful thought edged into my mind. This might truely be the end.
My heart began to beat faster when I noticed the end of the forest. I quickened my pace, my torture was finally coming to an end! I burst through the last of the foliage, oblivious to the stinging plants that tried to keep me back. What I saw next stopped me dead in my tracks. My mouth fell open in shock.
Great lion-like cats prowled around the clearing, some with cubs, some with actually humaniod companions. They were huge beasts, with gnarled, twisting horns. A bizarre ball of light was intertwined with the end of their tail. I was so dumbfounded from what I saw, I didn't even notice something creep up behind me until I felt breath on my neck.
I realed around and came nose to nose with the biggest cat of them all. His aqua blue eyes bored into me, but kindness clearly shined in them. "Do not be afraid, human," His voice was deep and growly, but I was not afraid, actually I felt the complete opposite. I felt calmed by the big cat's presense. He explained to me of this strange land, and of the inhabitants of this wonderful land. They were called Syhran, and they seeked companions to travel with them and be their friend.
Maybe this was my chance to find a way out and back home. A Syhran companion could lead me out of this forest, and in turn I could we could explore the land together. I patiently waited for the first group of Syr I could meet in hopes of finding a companion.
---
I really didn't have to wait long. In that time I recovered from my jungle treck and short imprisonment. I felt more alive and reguvenated then ever before. I was fluttering around the edge of the clearing, stretching my wings after not using them for so long, when I noticed the Syr. She walked calmly, her head held proudly as she padded next to her siblings. She was a pretty sky blue with the markings of some of the tropical birds I sometimes see around here. She had vibrant green eyes that shone with kindness. I immediately felt unafraid and at ease. Curiously, I walked towards the beautiful creature.
"Hello." I finally said, my voice sounding meak and small. I swallowed hard, and smiled nervously. "My name is Angel. Umm...I was kinda looking for a companion that could..travel and explore with me. I'm kinda new here and I don't know the jungle well, and maybe a friend could help me get used to it here." I closed my mouth, realizing that I was rambling pretty bad. An idea quickly popped in my head and I plucked a long feather from my wing. I gently laid it down infront of her paws. "Here. You can use it to find me if you want to travel with me. If you don't, you can still have it has a gift." I quickly fluttered away, feeling rather foolish for not being able to talk right.

I know, I noticed that after I had posted her. I'll fix her and have the updated image up soon; I was in a rush last night sorry.
