The wolf pinned by River struggles, and the other one snaps at her. The other wolf pushes River off, and the two wolves back River into a corner. A loud bang sounds, and rocks fall down from a mountain. River and the other wolves manage to get away, but the pack wolves run, but one of them has it's foot stuck under a rock. It whimpers.

I run back for the injured wolf, and kneel down beside it. I heave the rock off her, and pick her up in my arms. Then, I sprint off in the opposite direction of the pack, and rock - slide. River suddenly realizes what is going on, and turn around. She yelps, before sprinting off after me.
