The light, so.... dazzling
My dwarf eyes watered, since they were the only ones open.
my body felt sticky and it was difficult to lift a claw.
I was alone, but fresh. I let out a small whine, aware noone was around.
i struggled to a sitting position, and stared at the blue glittering walls of the cave.
"Wha?" my voice cracked as my brain took in the image, a small hole above me seared yellow light, casting spears of blue light to burst off the wall.

"this is so, beautiful" i stood shakily, speaking to myself.
"what is this, on the walls?" i traced a claw over the wall and frozen shards of water rained down onto my horns, they soaked it up as if it were not frozen, and still water, and suddenly i felt refreshed.
i shook my fur, and tried out my stronger legs.
i padded around the increasingly wondrous cave, inspecting the entire thing before reaching the entrance.
"i should.. i should go see that sun." my heart yearned to see the yellow light that had awoken my birth.
my primary eyes were still shut tight, as they would be until i reached the Dry Lands.
How i know this? i cannot say, maybe it is my instinct. I shivered, not from the cold of the room, but from the excitement of a new world.
I did not want to leave my frosty sanctuary, but nonetheless i needed to find my home.

The exit to the cave, or my entrance to the Dry Land, was dark, and i had myself wishing to open my primary eyes.
as i was at the top of a steep hill the black started to turn to gray as the light peeped through the hole, and my fur started to itch as the heat prickled sweetly around me.
I opened my muzzle to breath in the scents and was struck by a rush of sand, i coughed, wracking sand from my throat.

"This, is the Dry Land?" i spoke quietly.
The scene surrounding me was so barren and dull.
a Cacti sat a few feet from me.
No kind of animal appeared to me.
i crowed, hoping for a response. but gaining none.
if there was another living creature here, it did not show itself.
"Please dear Cacti, show me where i must go." i asked the thorny plant, and laughed at myself to speaking to something that could not speak back.

I began to grow weary as i traveled farther through the Dry Land.
"the yellow light, it is turning the sky orange and pink, why is it leaving the blue stretch above my head?" i blathered to myself, i was starving and had not met any prey.
When the Light had gone, a silver light illuminated the sand before me, but i was too tired to pad any further.
i shoveled a hole into the ground, climbed in, and swept my tail over my body to keep me warm.
Suddenly, i felt awake.
i waited, and i realized that water was traveling through the sand around me.
It splashed onto my horns and i licked it up thankfully. I felt refreshed once again, and slept happily knowing all would be well in the morning.

I see, this isnt much of a story is it?
but i did make some art:)
(the blue covering her legs would be my really crappy version of water!)

I understand, that she was born in a Crystalline Cavern, or more likely known as the Stone cavern, and she was born to two parents and have two siblings, but i wanted to start the story like this. i can always write another one if this isnt applicable. i didnt want to add in the siblings and parents if it wasnt O.K with the usage of thier Iop's in my story to win my own Iop.
