{Ahzenai} New Thread! (Please Lock)

Bleh. I thought this was going great, until I had to take a picture of the work to get it up x.x' Not to mention I don't have colors with me, so it's in black and white, which doesn't suit Adethea at all...-le sigh- And the back paw...>.> Never the less, here it is : Adethea

The next Ahzenai to appear from the vortex did so in a most unusual manner. Instead of simply walking out like his previous cousins, Thegalym was launched from the vortex in a fiery mass and crashed into the lake, spraying water everywhere. He came up sputtering and coughing and paddled over to the edge of the lake, dragging himself out. His normally bright and fiery element was nothing more then a slight glow as it recovered from the dousing. He stood there for a moment- apparently letting the sopping nature of his fur hit him- then shook violently to dislodge the dampness.

Once satisfied he was no longer dripping he waltzed over to a boulder and hopped on top, settling down for an intensive grooming. He was just in the middle of drying his left shoulder when he noticed the humans watching him. He paused for moment before recoiling back in shock. Where did they come?! Panic filled him and he almost slipped off his perch and back into the water.

"Stay back!" He yelped, more in shock then actual anger. "I, Thegalym am a powerful Ahzenai and I'm not afraid to whoop on you!"

He formed a fist with his paw and shook it, as if to emphasize his point.

Nix looked around, her dark blonde hair falling over her shoulders as her grey-blue eyes darted around, she had found herself a spot beside the small river and had gotten quite comfortable after being introduced, she didn't know how she got here but her curiosity was rising, suddenly something hurttled out of the portal and into the water sending sheets of the freezing blue liquid all over her, soaking her clothes,
"Oi!" What was that for?" she demanded, flicking her hands to dislodge the water although laughter danced in her eyes, clearly whatever had soaked her hadn't acutally been aiming for her. She watched as the Ahzenai get to his perch and start washing himself her breath was nearly taken away with his beautiful purple colouation and white markings,
"There is a river there" she pointed out helpfully but her voice quaverd as if she were holding back giggles, but even if she did her words were kind. Suddenly she saw the Ahzenai get to his paws
"Stay back!" He yelped, more in shock then actual anger. "I, Thegalym am a powerful Ahzenai and I'm not afraid to whoop on you!"
She took a step back holding up her hands, she could tell it was more shock and he would calm down eventually,
"Hey it's ok! I'm Nix and I just wanted to say that was a pretty spectacular enterance even if you did soak me" she said soothingly although the humor had found it's way back into her eyes, Nix walked over to the small pillar of rock Thegalym sat on and suddenly felt she wanted to be closer to him, she started to climb up, gripping onto the stone. About half way up she felt her foot slip, with a squeak she plummeted into the river.
She clawed her way back to the surface and crawled out gasping,
"I don't envy you mate! That's cold!" She said, determindly starting her climb again, this time she reached the top and hauled herself up beside him, shivering,
"You know it ain't always this cold, back where I life the days are comfortably warm and when it does get hot you can always take a dip although I am not sure how much you would like that... You would probably like the bush though, the pale ghost gumtrees and the shining golden wattle flowers..." She said more to herself than anyone else, she shook her head and looked up at the Ahzenai,
"Now I am going to bet that soaked like that your going to get cold 'cus I am so here, it ain't much but it will help" she went on picking up her jacket which had thankfully stayed dry where she had left it on the bank, shivering slightly as the cave breeze brushed her skin, she held the jumper out to him, ignoring the fact that she was probably by all means warmer than her. Nix's blue-grey eyes shining with the offer as she waited...

I walked back into the familiar cave only to have seen an Athenzai be flung across the cave into the river. I took a few steps and introduced myself, "Hi, I'm Dani..." I walked towards it, "Are you okay?"
"Stay back!" he had yelped. I took few steps back and waited for him to calm slightly.
I walked closer to the furious Athenzai,I tried to calm him down in his moment of fury, Lightly stroking his fur I spoke to him, "Hey, it's okay... Accedents happen!" I spoke softly to him, trying to comfort Thegalym. I helped him back onto the rock and stepped away a bit.

I saw his gorgous colours and markings, I stared in awe at the beauty of him, he reminded me of serenity, yet his personalty was almost the opposite to that. His colours complemented each other perfectly. he seemed like a mirror mitation of me, short tempered yet interesting and different. I felt a smile dance across my face. An interesting guy he is... I thought. But I wanted to cut to the chase. "Ummm... W-will you come with me, to be my friend?" I felt quite shy, one side told me he would just leave and the other said he would come to be a companion to be with...

I saw he was just sitting there above me, I wanted to show him that he didn't have to come but it would be highly appretiated and that he wouldn't be like a pet but a best friend or a companion. I took a kitten out of my bag and put it on the stone, "here, you can have it you come with me..." Silence, the only noise to be heard was the water dripping off his fur, the kitten mewing softly and the waterfall gushing beside us...

I hope to LCD, though I think I'm going to be a bit scarce over the next few days. :3 I'll announce here ahead of time roughly when I'm going to open them xD

From the vortex padded forth a female Ahzenai, she was gray along her back and face and a had a shocking splash of red marking her chest. Black stripes crossed her lower back and ran along her sides and thighs. She held her head level with her body and examined the area, spotting many people wandering around Ahzen. At first she was confused why their were so many people but then she remembered the age old tradition of Ahzen and of the Ahzenai. 'To seek companionship with a human or other creature and to live as long as said friend so that neither one of the pair shall be lonely and without the other.' That was fine by her as some Ahzenai loved to leave and see the world, but she liked it just fine in Ahzen, and there were plenty of humans here to play with. Though she did have to admit, it would get boring staying inside all the time. Perhaps leaving would be good? In any case she could always come back if she decided she didn't like it. She wouldn't let no human control what she did, no-sir-ree!

"It better be worth it," she snorted before deciding to take this 'wooing' business into her own paws. She padded up to a human and made her introduction.

"I'm Adethea," she said boldly. "I like staying in Ahzen, so if you want me to come with you, answer me this: What can you offer me, that I don't already have here?"

She gestured to the cave behind her, which offered shelter, food, water and the necessities of life.

I had watched Eriat leave sadness filling me but quickly focused on this new Ahenzai. She looked fierce and unafraid and I thought hard before attempting to approach her, thinking of what I could say that might make her change her mind and join me in the outside world. "Adethea." I started curtsying again, as I had done for Eriat. But this time I was more nervous; I had been rejected once already would my second 'woo' be enough to give this Azhenai an urge to join me?

"Adethea." I said again, my voice bold and loud but not shouting. "Here you can have everything you need to live. A normal life. But if you come with me I can give you an extraordinary life! I can show you 'animal clouds' , adventure, excitement...I can show you things that you can only imagine right now!" I laughed and smiled at her, holding out my hand, my face and heart hopeful. "Come with me and I can show you animals that fly, swim, obey, are free. I can show you nature at it's best. The humans at their kindest. And I can show you love...forever." I smiled and then fell silent, wondering who she would choose.

My eyes narrowed as Eriat walked away with that strange girl who had been playing in the water, "must she continue to annoy me? I wont get any more companions if she keeps going to every single creature I try to woo" I grumbled curling my hands into claws. "Well I like you" Hivani said her tail wrapping round my waist I rested a hand on her back feeling the soothing warmth of her body heat under her silky coat, I smiled grateful for her being here with me.

I stifled a giggle behind my hand, poor Thegalym wasnt having a good time so far, I tried to calm myself a might bit unsucessful the first few times but after a while I suceeded. Making sure I was completely giggle fit free I looked up at him perched on the rock, "stay back" he yelped and almost fell off the rock back into the water he had just clambered out of. I winced in sympathy for him even I did find his reaction hilarious, "calm down idiot" I thought to myself and gave my arm a pinch, I really quite liked Thegalym the purple of his coat really grabbed me because purple is my favourite colour in the world.

I sowly clambered up the rock, poking my head over the top I saw him watching me his green eyes wary, "i'm sorry to come and be a pest but I just had to introduce myself because you really caught my eye, my name is Megan call me what you like though" I rambled. "Dont mind her she's just nervous, once she calms down slightly she will chat to you a tad bit more" Hivani said with a grin eriely similar to the chesire cat as she poked her head up from the side of the rock. "Well I really like your coat colour it suits you and makes you look even more handsome than you already are, if you want I could share some of my stories with you over a bit of food" I said to him my blue eyes glittering slightly. I pulled out a few sandwiches wrapped in clingfilm from my bag and after unwrapping them placed one in front of each Ahenzai and kept one for myself, Hivani snuffled her sandwich and then happily took a bite getting jam smeared over her top lip.

"Oh the stories you know are wonderful please tell one to us" Hivani said brightly her eyes sparkling, "alright Hivani calm down. Once in a time not so long ago lived a young woman, she was nothing out of the ordinary keeping herself to books and making up stories, she met a young man a mere couple of days older than herself and at first dismissed him as nothing interesting. Then one day when he spoke to her she turned and was rendered speechless she saw him in a whole new light, it was at that moment she began to fall and maybe so had he. Prehaps he had already started to fall for her a long time before she herself fell

Later that year the two were sat alone together in the dark speaking casually while watching the dying embers of what a been a great and powerful fire, her body shook and shook for she had not eaten for the two days they had been at that site. At one point well into the dark hours of the night he turned to her and she to him and they then shared the most simple gesture of passion... a kiss. The butterflies in her stomach vanished and she contendly leant into him when he slid an arm round her waist, her body began to shake again and he thought her cold so told her she could sleep in his coat which she had slipped on to save her sunburnt arms from the harsh sunlight.

Later that year they gave into the heat of passion and took part in the ultimate act of pleasure together, giving each other their innocence. To this day their bond remains strong and I hope it will stay that way for a long time" I finished wistfully, Hivanis eyes were shining "that was a really nice story is it true?" she asked quietly. I nodded, "love is a powerful thing, if you find the truest form then your love will stay true for a very long time" I told them both with a gentle smile, there was a strange emotion in Thegalym eyes. I wondered to myself if he was prehaps lonely even with all the attention he was reciving.

I was sitting boredly on the ground, playing with a strand of my golden hair. I sighed, but my head looked up when I heard Ahzenai entering. The first one just took my breath away, and I was stuck in a trance. I examined her beautiful markings, eyes stopping on the mark on her chest, listened to her strong voice... And her question. I thought it over, thinking about trying to 'woo' her. Well, I guess I could try. As I got closer. I thought more about her, and how amazing she was.

I finally approached fully, listening to this beautiful creature speak. Such elegance and grace, like she knew what she was talking about. She had that wonderful air about her, strong and powerful, bit maybe even nice on the inside. I thought that was pretty awesome. I would love to have such a magnificent and powerful creature as my partner. 'Such wonderful eyes and looks... Hm...what to say' I thought to myself. I started off with a polite nodd towards her, and spoke up in a kind and gentle voice. "Hello there. My name is ~Rue, Stolen Girl~, but please call me Rue. I can offer you a loving home. I absoulutely would love to have you as my companion, as my partner, as an EQUAL, not as a pet, I mean, PA-LEAZE, you may even be smarter then some people who think your a pet. I mean, people who think you are a pet are stu- Anyways, like I said, I will offer you all the necessities you have now, and even more. I love animals, likel to take care pf them. Then release them back into the wild, not keep them locked up like pets. My house is quite large, and you'd probably get a huge room! I do etimes have dance classes, but you would be able to tag along. I love singing, hope you have a passion in it to! I mean, that would be cool. And figure skating, but you probably don't know what that it... Or do you?... No matter. I love to care for things, and love having someone to talk to. Believe me, I will not desert you. I mean, who would? Your such a beautiful, powerful, and magnificent creature...." I said aloud, staring at her with a look of adoring awe. There was just something about her that was amazing. She had no element like most of them, but her personality was like her element. I still thought she was the exact same thing.... Amazing, awesome, and whatever large word to describe something 'Spectacular'. There, found one! :3 Well, as I stared at her, I felt a sinking feeling. Was my blabbering on speech good enough compared to everyoneelses?.... Well, no matter, gotta keep my hopes up. I self consciously pulled my shirt bottom rim down over my pants, looking around again. So many people, so much time. Makes me want to run around in circles, screaming 'OMGOSH STRESS!!!'

I stepped back, not sure about what I said still. I just looked on, hoping she'd look over my small speech. I stepped forward again and opened up the palm of my hand to reveal a ruby stone with a darker shade to it that matched the red spot on her chest. I smiled kindly at her, and held it up. "For you." then I stepped back, giving a polite nodd. I glanced around, then watched the elegant creature again with a smile on my face. I jumped at the sound of the second creature. He looked like a rough and tough male, but I was still enchanted by this beautiful female. I looked back up at her, ignoring the sounds coming from the other Ahzenai. I was still smiling my nice smile, trying to look grown up and professional. But inside, I was freaking out. 'Keep your head straight and a smile on your face!' I thought. I still smiled though. Then I thought. And I realized something. She reminded me of something important. I loved this one anime, and one of the girls, Rue or Princess Kraehe, was controlled by a raven. She ha blood red eyes and black hair. And reminded me of her. I stepped forward again. "May I just day something?... I have this fav anime back on the human world, and you remind me of my favourite character. I just think your so amazing, how powerful and strong.... But I'm probably annoying now, just blabbering on. Sorry!" I said sheepishly, shyly backing away.

I looked at my feet and sighed. Great going, I probably just blew my chance.
