I can understand everyone's kind words, and I truly am grateful that that's the way you feel, but... I can't help feeling that I let people down. One of the things I kind of prided myself on was my ability to get Dralons out to others so quickly. I remember how happy people were when they realized how quickly they could grow their flock and how excited they were to keep trying out new combinations of parents and seeing what happened. I remember too one of my friends being concerned when the rate of update posts dropped to three a week...

And I know too, my own feelings towards things that aren't done on time and broken promises. That site I'm on that's been eating up all my time? It's called Xanje, and from the outside it looks beautiful. It has an absolute ton of pets, great art, a really interesting pop up style way of finding and adopting pets that is way too addicting, and the list goes on.

It's the worst managed site I have EVER been on in my life. The pets are in stages, like CS pets, and grow through each of the stages. There's unfinished pets absolutely everywhere and since I've been on not a single one has gotten another stage even though the admin keeps promising to do them and has even made contests for people to do stuff in order to get a pet of their choice to have its next stage. When one of the pets came out, back in May, she said they'd have their second stage in two weeks at the most. They still don't yet.

It's like... everything about how that site is managed just makes me angry. The admin said that breeding would be free and not cost these special breeding stones once there was an automatic system put into place for it. I promised a ton of people completely free breedings with my pets because of this and then when automatic breeding came out it wasn't free and she said she'd changed her mind. No announcement beforehand or anything. So I have to pay for all those free breedings I promised people out of my own virtual pocket. There's pets people have paid real money to get into the game that haven't been done, but the admin keeps on making more pets that she likes and just ignores them. The list just goes on and on. Glitches are ignored and not dealt with for months. Cool looking glitch pets are allowed to run wild and be bought by members for insane prices only to suddenly be fixed with no warning against the users' wishes, and it really just goes on and on.

If I didn't have over 15,000 pets on there and feel really invested in the site, I would leave in a heartbeat because that's not the way to run a site and it just makes me so angry.

Or, on a maybe more relevant note, can you imagine the kind of riots that would ensue if CS didn't have a new batch of pets to adopt for a month? Could you imagine if the only reason was that the artists weren't feeling well and didn't want to do them?

I know Dralons isn't something with thousands of customers. It doesn't take in real money or even really very much virtual stuff, and you can argue that I can do whatever I want because Dralons wouldn't exist without me, but I've always felt if something is promised, then the promise should be kept, or the reason for it not better be pretty darn good.

I don't know, maybe this whole thing is a bit moot since I have been working on them a bit again, but it's just so hard to look at what I used to be able to do and then now when I lose my muse after like two litters or can't even write a few paragraphs for an event that was supposed to be fun for everyone. It's hard not to feel angry at myself for things that I haven't done. The Cordtails were released back in April and still don't have all their markings yet. I remember doing both the Branchtails and the Threetails in the same month. I don't know, I'll likely feel better once things are back on track, and I do have confidence that I can eventually get them back on track, but I just wish I was able to be better right now.

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's update post! I really was planning on getting this one out in time but the migraines I get unfortunately don't care when I have Dralon stuff to do.

First up as always are the premades ^.^ Since the Halloween event has ended up late, I decided to make them both a bit more spooky than normal as something to tide you over until I can get to work on the rest of the event. And, as you can see, the first look at November's Tiptail is here! Their tail tips are spades, to finish off the card suit series. I think you'll be surprised in December when I reveal the thought and meaning behind each tail tip. It's not just arbitrary how they look or what month they happen in XD In fact, I kind of made it so people would be able to guess the next ones. That didn't end up happening but I'm still going to drag out the word document that I made back when I first drew each of their tail tips. Anyways XD

They don't really have a theme besides spooky, but I did something a bit interesting with only using two colours on each of them and using what you'd expect as the base for the markings and vice versa. I thought it was a nice little twist XD

Next up is the premade litter ^.^ Although I keep telling them the pound is crowded with premade litters already, the parents keep insisting on having large litters XD Five more cubs can be found in there for you to adopt and here's the parents ^.^


I do want to mention something about one of the parents though. The Tiptail custom (a recent one based on a trip to Niagara Falls with my fiance over the summer) has a mix up with its stats. The colour for the Top Half on it should be 9CBDDE instead of EEEEEE. You have two options. You can either just change the Dralon's stats by erasing them and copying and pasting this new set

Whew, I think my posts are getting longer. I shoooould have gotten out everything I wanted to say in this one though. Maybe if you want to reply to the first part it would be best if you PMed me rather than me replying here again? XD

When it comes to the Halloween event and the orders, I will be working on them, but likely pretty slowly until I get back into the flow of things. My main priority is to get the event done before the end of November. Now that more isn't piling up for every day that I missed, I think I should be able to finish it easier. Next priority is the orders, because I'm really, really far behind on them. Once they're reasonably caught up and the Halloween event is finished, I'll see about working on Cordtail markings again. Depending on my muse a few might be released before that, but that'll be when I really start focusing on them again.
