She has royal blood, originating from a very important Japanese dynasty
Haru was the only child in her family, but through unknown circumstances she dissappeared one day. Her parents suspected that she was kidnapped by some lunatic who was against the emperor to get revenge on him. After months of searching in vain, everyone lost the hope that she'll ever return.
Actually, she was caught in the crowd waiting for the Spring Festival to begin. It was one of the most important events in her hometown, being a tradition for hundred of years. It was her parents' favourite celebration because of the sakura flowers everywhere, that's why they named their child after the season of youth and reborn.
The garden got so jammed in enthusiastic people that even the trees in full bloom were soon hidden from her sight by unknown and tall silhouettes. At first, Haru didn't understand where her parents could go without her, so she simply waited for her mom's warm hands to hold her tight again. But that didn't happen. Something was wrong. She tried to make way through the wall of strangers around her, crying for her mother to come back. But they were too many and her voice wasn't loud enough to be heard by anyone.
Yōkō is the persona she created for herself after she realised she was on her own. She thought that her family abandoned her because she wasn't worthy enough, so she denied everything related to her old life, including her name.
Special relationship with
Inari (Inari is the only one that knows her real name apart her family. She's had been hiding it from anyone else to avoid being recognized)
