_____________________________________________________________________good morning/afternoon/
evening/whatever time
of the day it is when you
are reading this! as you
can probably see, I have
come to try and win over
the lovely cerelia. I am
not sure exactly how you
are pronouncing it, but I
guess I'm going by "ser -
ell - ee - uh." that sounds
pretty enough, right? okay,
well, trying to pick which
one of the easter ahz to
try and woo was difficult,
but I think cerelia is simple,
beautiful, and I can make
her really girly, but I'll save
the pain of your eyes falling
out by not doing that. XD
anyways, I am going to try
and include all six of my ahz,
because that would be kinda
exciting, right? right? yeah,
you know it. I'm not one
hundred percent sure what I
am going to do with this woo,
but I hope you enjoy it! <3
by the way, I have a feeling
Izres is going to be the star
in this woo, because pretty
little cerelia is just the kind
of girl he needs.
One dark paw slammed into the ground, claws digging into the spot where a fuzzy blue tail had been just moments before. "What did you do?" his voice, not as dark and raspy as some predict, burned into the blue ahz, who just looked on with a smile. "Nuuuuuuthin'." he dodged nimbly from side to side as the dark one clambered about around him, unsteady in the daylight. "Come and catch me!" he taunted in a sing-songy voice. He hopped up and down playfully, sunlight gleaming onto his bright blue fur. The gray ahz, known to all as Izres, lowered the crown of his head and charged, launching himself on top of the brighter ahz, Oelaer. "Tell me! You wouldn't be acting so sneaky if you hadn't started stirring up trouble..." Izres snarled. He dug his forepaws' claws into the earth inches from Oelaer's head, hissing into his face.
Oelaer shrieked and squirmed under the larger ahzenai's weight, wriggling away from Izres sharp teeth. But all the while he was smiling, obviously enjoying the exercise. Izres snarled once more and bounded away, exhaustion and frustration forcing him to give up his interrogation. Oelaer muffled a whine and disappeared as well, probably to find Persica or Ichi.
Izres glanced up at the sky, sighing in relief as dark clouds began to hover underneath the sun, blocking the brightness from pricking his fur. Suddenly a low rushing sound erupted behind him, and lights crawled out of the vortex. Two ahzenai appeared, introducing themselves. The female, Cerelia, looked so graceful next to the bigger male, whom Izres just marked as another one of his enemies. Everyone as an enemy to him... except Cerelia.
Izres glanced at her again, this time creeping forward a few inches. Her beige and pinks sparked a sudden interest in him, however much they contrasted his greys and blacks. Izres kept his head low; he would only watch for a moment. A flash of blue caught in the corner of his eyes, and Izres jaws parted in a snarl as he knew Oelaer had come back. Relief washed over him as he saw an orange and black fragile figure sweep him away again. I don't get how Ichi and Persica can keep up with him. he sighed.
As he turned back to Cerelia, she was gone. Off with Atherton, waiting for suitors to come. I wonder if Kat is going to woo one... he thought. As he listened, he picked up lines about Easter. Easter wasn't really a big thing in his life, as Kat was usually the one who sat up all night. He didn't know why. All he knew was that in the morning a small basket of chocolate and trinkets sat under the trapdoor in his cave. The main cavern that his fellow ahzenai slept in would also be fancied up with eggs and ribbons. Unfortunately, Izres heard from Persica that Thazel had eaten most of the chocolate before everyone else had woken up. Traditions, traditions.
Izres suddenly had an idea. Cerelia was here to help others, with her strengths, right? Compassion, gentleness, and all that good stuff. Izres needed serious help in those areas. Maybe he would ask her to... help him? Mentor him? Teach him? Anything to set his path right. As for Easter... he wanted to learn more. Cerelia would be a big help to Kat, getting ready for the "big day" and possibley being instructed to protect the candy from fudge-hungry Thazel.
It was settled; Izres hurled himself toward her, and sat about a foot from her, curling his thick ragged tail around his paws--a very catlike position. He lifted his gaze high enough to meet hers steadily. Be couldn't screw this up, one shot. "Cerelia? My name is Izres. How... how are you? Izres had never actually had a meaningful coversation with anybody. Socially-awkward Izres had no clue what to do. "Um, I understand that you, er, are her to help with Easter traditions, right? he began, thinking back to his ideas. "Believe it or not, I actually want some... help, let's say, in that general area. You see, I've never been all too thrilled about anything, but I actually for once want to be able to know what it is like to have a compassionate person in my life..." the words were bittersweet, as he'd never talked about anything like this before. But then again, Izres had never felt this way about anyone before either. He was trying to convince himself that he didn't like her, that he was just... curious about her, interested.
Izres lashed his thick, scraggly tail and thought about things for a bit. "Kat and the rest of the gang enjoy Easter, but me? I just... don't know." This is how Cerelia would benefit the world. Taming a beast. As for traditions... "I-I'm sure that Kat would like a helping paw. And you should come meet Ichi. You..." Izres dark eyes flashed a sign of fear. For the first time, he was afraid. Afraid of more rejection and loneliness. Cerelia's deep compassion and care would be more than enough to brighten Izres' world, and his 'family's' chocolately traditions could be upheld.
Before he turned away, the dark ahzenai got off his haunches, ready to bolt, and murmured, "Help me? Help us?"
{oh boy; I'm pretty sure this isn't what you were looking for, and it's really bad work, but I thought it was worth a shot. :3}
