What is Your Favorite Sweetens Memory?;; I have a few, so I have them all listed below!

I’m going to go in order of oldest to newest here. I’d say one of my favorite memories is actually when I first joined. I just made a post on the trading thread, looking to trade for sweetens, not really sure if it’d even go anywhere… but I figured it was worth a try at least! So I made my post and, to my surprise, a user by the name of “alaska” (now glitter glue) gifted me a sweeten, who I named Fae! I was really shocked, and ecstatic! Then, a second massive surprise, another user by the name of “Legendary Shaman” (now ggez) gifted me 2 sweetens and a bunch of items! I honestly couldn’t believe it, I loved my new babies so much, and I knew right then and there that I’d treasure them forever. Such adorable pixel cats and such a warm welcome to the community… I knew I was going to get hooked haha! It was demonstrated to me from day 1 how much the community cares about each other, the entire situation warmed my heart. Ever since then, I’ve wanted to spread their love and gift any newcomers I see, their first sweetens as well. I’ve tried my best to!

One of my most beloved memories is definitely the day I became an artist and joined the staff server for the first time. I was so nervous but excited and I began working on my first litter, my cows, that very same day. Seeing my sweeten, Dreamland, turn into an actual sweeten that I got to keep for myself was honestly kind of a weird feeling, but a good kind of weird! It made me hopeful for my future. Around that time in my life, I feel like I was happiest in general, even apart from sweetens.

Another one of my favorite memories was creating the main server and joining it, on that night it was just us staff goofing around until it opened to the public. Even though that was only around the beginning of this year, it feels weirdly nostalgic to me… I think it was watching our public server grow over time that touched me most. It means so much to me, so its early days are very nostalgic to me already. It may also be because I was in a very dark place in my life, at the time of its creation. It felt like all of you, some of the best friends I’ve ever had, were the only thing making me happy back then.

Last but certainly not least, was the moment I became a guest moderator. Everyone seemed so happy for me, and some people even seemed excited that I was on the moderation team. It surprised me so much, but made me so happy. I’ve loved my time as a staff member in general, but I’ve especially loved my time as both artist and gm, because it makes me feel so good to be helping in even more ways than I was before. The community and species itself both mean more to me than words could ever describe, and I will always be eager to help in any way I possibly can. <3
