-Claps hands together- I luvs to make stories!!!
Going after Aza's fox. But you know, I love to make stories anyways
(Human's perspective. Whenever there are: " : it's thoughts for now.) Airie: I was crashing through the forest, running away. Away from... from... them. "How could human's be so cruel to each other?" I thought to myself, pushing away plants and branches that grabbed at my clothes. Tears streamed from my face. Something else was chasing me. What was it? Why did it want me? Probably a predator after me. Suddenly, I tripped over a rock protruding from the ground. Pain shot up my leg, and I could feel something dripping down it. "Blood" I winced. I gripped at the ground with my hand, dragging myself away from the unknown terror. It was almost impossible, so much pain. I couldn't walk. I couldn't... escape. I dragged myself to a tree trunk, and lay against it, my hand clenched to my side. My breathing was tense and harsh. My eyes darted from side to side. All of a sudden, it appeared. Not all of it, but its eyes. I could see it peering down at me. "Were its eyes glowing red? No, it must just be me. I must be halucinating. Nothing glows like that." I shook my head, trying to clear my vision. But it continued to glow. It was hidden in the darkness, red faintly glowing around it, and seemingly falling to the ground. "Had it smelled my blood? Is it blood lustful?" I pray not... . It blinked a couple of times. I could see its breath faintly forming in the cool air. I winced once more, and looked around frantically for something to fend myself. All I found was a measly stick.
Earlier that day: I was sitting on my broad tree branch, hidden from view by the leaves. I sighed contently, watching as the dawn's lights just began to form. A pallete of dim yet vivid pinks, reds, and yellows. I grabbed my fat leaf blade, and put it up to my lips. I softly played a song to signify morning's first appearance. It was beautiful. I lay against the tree branch, my eyes closed, just playing softly. It made me happy. I had a wonderful life. I had my whole family: my mom, dad, and brother, and me. We lived in a nearby village. We had a home, clothes, good food, a forest to play in, hunting, fishing, etc. It might be small to those now, but to me, it was the life. I was thankful for every single thing I had. But it wasn't to last. Suddenly, I heard a scream. My eyes shot open, my song ended with a shrill, unpleasant note. I looked around quickly, pressing against my tree. I knew it was bad news. I darted my head to the side, in the direction of the village. The houses were on fire, women and children screaming and weeping. "Raiders." I choked out into the air. I knew I had to get away. The would kill everyone and everything. I grabbed the messenger bag I always brought with me. I luckily packed some food and my fishing rod in case I wanted to go fishing later that day. I packed some spare clothes as well and a blanket. I was wearing a teal sweater, khaki pants which fit really well, furry socks, and tennis shoes. I was also wearing a light blue hat, with little yarn string at the ends. I had on a feather necklace. It was my symbol. I looked around to make sure it was clear, and I rushed down the tree. I landed improperly, and hurt my leg. But no way was I going to let that stop me. I ran out deeper into the forest. I didn't know where I was going, nor did I care, all I knew was that I needed to get away. Far away. It was hard going in the woods. It felt like there was another presence nearby. But I was too afraid to turn to see if anything WAS there.
Back to the Present.I peered once again at those eyes. At least, I think those were its eyes. I thought as much as I could muster, and remembered. Our village had a legend of something that lived in our forest. It was a guardian or something. My head was spinning, so it was hard to focus. Of course, I thought it was just a story they told to us children. But maybe it was true? "Look at me. I'm going crazy. Believing those stupid stories." I thought to myself with a nervous chuckle. It barely got out of my mouth, and it was creepy the way it sounded. They said no one could see the guardian, which made me think it was just an old legend. If you can't see it, how can you prove it's there? The world began to spin, and I blacked out.
(Fox's perspective.) Kiden: "Who was this human? And what was she doing in my forest?" He spoke to himself. "How could she feel my presence? No one could do that. Meh, maybe she IS just seeing things, as she thinks." Kiden squinted unhappily, but curiously. "We're supposed to be invisible to everyone." He shrugged, then turned his thoughts to her present state. "She's hurt." He murmered to himself. "And as this forest's guardian, and the protector of those in it, I guess it's my duty to help her... Good thing she's blacked out." He padded up to her, still shrouded in darkness, though his eerily piercing red glowing stones and tail stripes burst out in a dim light from it. He looked her over, seeing her wounds. He shook his head, and began to work on her. "I'll have to stay as hidden as I can." He murmured out loud.
