Keiry smiled broadly as she slowly sat up,excitement ready to burst out of her like a balloon. She again,slowly turned her head towards the clock by her bedside and her smile grew,if that was possible.

25th december
"ITS CHRISTMAS!"She said the excitement busting out of her in the form of a yell,She almost tripped down the stairs as she made her way down to the living room,in the end she opened her wings a bit to balance her and she then carefully ran into the room and instead of walking straight to the presents like her cousins behind her she walked past her pile and right to the window a happy gasp escaping her mouth.
She watches as small flakes of now drifted down to the ground softly and landed creating a white sheet in the garden. She went to grab her hat and scarf but her parents told her she would have to wait,so she sat by the fireplace and watched the outside through the window,longing tugging at her but she felt a bit better after a candycane.
