What will you name it?: Kaya

Personality: Kaya is usually calm and silent. She is a loner and is kind only to her mate. But, if angered, she will lash out and hurt those who do so her

Kaya cursed. She had tripped over a log. She was traveling through her home in the steamy jungle, looking for a mate. It was mating season, and she was hoping to find one who could be trusted. She was loyal as she was calm. She hardly ever lost her composure, making for a good partner. She planned to have many cubs, but this was only her first season. After many hours, she managed to locate a male. He was large, strong, handsome and polite. He was just her type. Just before they mated, the male collapsed. Blood pooled from claw marks on his neck. Kaya struggled out from under him and snarled. "Who are you?". "Kalder. You're mine now." Kaya backed up, still snarling. "No! You killed Damien!" she growled. "Too bad!" he spat

She licked her newborn cubs, sighing. They were all so weak. They would probably all die. She hated to think of it. Even though she despised their father, how could she be cruel to her own children? She figured her maternal instincts took over. But how could she help them, when she had nothing to give? She carried one out, a female who looked like Damien, knowing only one could survive. If any at all.

The cub had grown. Kaya laughed at her antics. She had chosen well. The young female frolicked and leaped, showing off her powerful back legs.
