Paragraph on where you get the pokemon: Today's the day. The day I finally get to start my adventure. The day I finally get to have a pokemon of my own, to train, level up and love. The day I get my freedom to leave this town and see the world. And I'm already late. Silently, I curse myself for not setting my alarm earlier. I could hear the blood pounding in my ears I was so nervous yet, at the same time excited. It pulsed so loud I could barely hear my feet as they smacked against the dirt path underfoot, propelling me forward in a rush. My dark brown eyes were dead set on the building that was beginning to loom into view, the large red-roofed white building with a large Pokeball set in its center. I was unaware of the smile that was spread across my face getting bigger as I neared. When I touched the door, I felt as if I might burst from sheer anxiety. Was there any Pokemon left for me? Only one way to find out. Uncharacteristically, I shyly opened the door and peered in. Everything looked as wonderous as I had imagined.
"Hello!"
I was immediately greeted by the woman behind the counter. I smiled and slowly walked forward so I stood on the other side of the counter.
"A latecomer? I can tell by the smile on your face and the way you walked in here that you're a new trainer. Here to get your first Pokemon, are you."
The way she said it, I knew that there had been others in here before me. Anguish began to set in as I realized that my journey might not start today if there weren't any Pokemon left. I silently prayed that there were. But I only nodded. The Nurse gave me a kind smile and, from a drawer, placed a trace on the counter. Curious, I took a peek and felt the smile spread across my face once more. There were five pokeballs. Five Pokemon left. Five potential best friends. Not waiting for the lady to tell me which ball contained which pokemon, my impatient nature set in and I quickly grabbed the first Pokeball. Pressing the white button, a red glow zapped from the ball and hit the floor besides me. My eyes widdened in surprise (not at the Pokeball, I've known they do that ever since I could first remember), and I stared down at the little orangee and yellow Pokemon besides me.
"Buiz?"
The Buizel said in a curious tone, cocking his head to the side in a very dog-like fashion. He clutched one of his tails in his hands, the other laying on the floor. He gazed up at me and I swear he smiled. I could feel my heart melt. He was too adorable. Crouching so that I was at eye level with him, I smiled and whispered, "You're perfect."
Carefully, to show that I ment him no harm, I extended my hand to rest atop his head and gently gave him a good scratch. To my surprise, he leaned into my hand and closed his eyes, a soft sound, almost like a purr but not quite feline enough, emitted from deep in his throat. Hopefully, I glanced up at the lady, who had come out from the counter and stood behind the Buizel. "May I keep him?" I asked and prayed that she said yes.
Other: This looks amazing~ I hope you don't mind I wrote so much, I have a lot of unused muse stored up that I need to get rid off! ^-^
