Hello! Sorry for my absence and the hiatus of starries! To celebrate coming back, we're hosting a contest where you can design YOUR OWN STARCOMFY!

What is the contest?

You get to design your own starcomfy on the provided base! You can have up to three submitted designs for the contest, but only one of your designs can win. The base is themed after a unicorn; which is a rare comfy!

After the due date has passed, there will be a place where you can vote for your favorite designs. The top three designs will become official comfies! On top of that, all participants will receive 300 stars!

Now, of course there are rules!

1. No editing the base lineart! This will get your entry immediately disqualified. Coloring it is ok!

2. Only three entries per person! You can't change your entries after the due date, so choose wisely!

3. Entries must be posted on the forum, editing your post to add an entry is okay!

4. Don't move or color the watermark (star)!

And some guidelines!

1. The .sai and .psd files are available here! There is also a transparent version to use!


2. I recommend using the .sai file if you use sai instead of the psd file, only because sai sometimes has issues with psd files (ex: not being able to save a file as anything other than .psd after opening a psd file).

3. The unnamed layer with 30% opacity above the folder is optional, but preferred. It just makes the 'background' body parts tinted white, and it's preferred to keep continuity with all other starcomfy designs made.

4. I recommend reading the customs rules before designing your entries, as these rules will apply.

5. Designs you made that don't end up winning can of course be used out of species and off of lines! It's your design; I have no claims or rights to it.
