That's fairly simple and since it's not really an accessory I would say that's ok to be covered under a GA.

If you accepted a new staff member what species would they be doing?

I assign the species based on which one I feel you're better suited for, design-wise.
Yes, being staff does get you perks.
Custom lined pets will only be available through special offers or if I personally approach you regarding them.
