Hey Kam, how exactly should we explain how a ram and a doe decide to pair up for the Siv? Would he "Claim" her, "Choose" her, etc... ? I'm sort of at a dead end in the history I'm in the middle of writing 'cause I wasn't quite sure...

The emotions are actually a lot more apparent now that I am fully awake, though. XD

@Africa.: A male chooses which does he wants for his harem by asking her to be in his harem. The doe has the right to say yes or no, and if she agrees to it and another male wishes to fight for her, he can challenge her current 'suitor' so the speak to add her to his harem instead. The does normally like having fights for them as that means they can choose which of the males will make a better candidate according to which one wins, but there can be rare occasions in which the female does not go with the winner for some reason. This is from what I remember from the Siv period, anyways.

Link is of average height, not tall nor short. His main body color contists of a dusty cream mixed with a light brown color. Link has a 'blaze' marking on his head that is a leaf green color, along with green socks and a green blanket upon his back. This leaf green has speckles of mint green along it, which happens to be the same color of his paw pads, nose, and horns.
Link's mane is a fluffy leaf green color, and his tail is long and fluffy aswell. He has a slender build, but he shows the heart of a strong and powerful Soldier. Matching perfectly with his markings and colors are his chocolate brown eyes, which show nothing less then love and compassion behind his relaxed and blank expression.

~Ɖɛɛρ Ɩитσ Ƴσʋя Ƨσʋℓ~

~Ƥɛяƨσиαℓιтʏ~

Protective ~ Link may not look it, but he is a very protective Goennec. Especially when someone threatens one of his heard mates. He is usually off on his own when things are alright, but if one thing seems out of place, he will hang around and keep watch over his friends. If there is ever danger, Link will be the first one running to the trouble, and the first one fighting.
Dreamy ~ When I say Link is dreamy, I'm not saying everyone is in love with him. { Even though he's handsome } I am saying he is constantly thinking, constantly locked up in his thoughts. It's usually hard to tell when he's paying attention or thinking, because he always has a blank expression on his face.
Sweet/Kind ~ When he opens up to you, Link can be very sweet. He is the type of Goennec to say hello to you whenever he sees you, even if you've run into him two times eariler. No, he's not forgetful, but he feels that everyone needs some positive wording, even if he's just bluntly saying it without any sugar added.
Smart ~ Link is of average height, and of average strength. He doesn't have any major muscels that make him stronger then the other Soldiers. Instead, he has his brains. Link is a very smart Goennec and is a very quick thinker, which means he can easily read your face and know your next attack. Since he is so good at masking his face, that means not a lot cant read him and find out what he will do until it's too late.
Helpful~ Along with being very sweet, Link is also a very helpful Goennec. Since Link is very skilled at reading emotions, he can easily see when someone is troubled or upset. If so, he will softly approach them and ask if they're alright, then demolish any the trouble if it can be broken.

~˩ικɛƨ~

. Rain ~ Link loves listening to the sound of rain, and likes the smell of it too. It's so relaxing when you see rain in the distance, or when the cold crystal drops fall onto his fur.
. Thinking ~ Link loves to be lost in his thoughts. When he's lost in his thoughts, he's not caught up in other drama. He's in his own peaceful place.
. Listening to Birds ~ Listening to the songs sung by birds is one of Link's favorite things to do. If Link wasn't a Goennec, he'd want to be a bird. He loves the idea of flying and being free, though he would never trade living with his herd and friends.
. Helping Others ~ Knowing that he just helped someone is one of Link's favorite feelings, although he doesn't really show it a whole bunch.

~Ɖιƨℓικɛƨ~

. Getting Dirty ~ Link doesn't mind when he gets dust or mud on him, but when a Kid runs by and totally covers him in it, that's what he dislikes. It takes so long to get dirt and mud out of his mane when it's totally drenched in it.
. Other's Knowing His Thoughts ~ Link is very good at reading emotions. No it's not a power, he's just good at doing it. But he really dislikes when others know what he's thinking, since he has a constant masked face. It makes him feel weaker, and less powerful when Goennecs know what he's thinking.
. Getting Yelled At ~ Since Link always want to help others, he doens't like when he gets something wrong, and is yelled at. Especially for not paying attention, and being lost in his thoughts.
. His Speech ~ Link has a small speech problem. That is because when he was a Kid, he didn't talk a whole lot unless one of his friends needed talking too. Because of that, Link has a slurred speech, usually adding an "s" onto things, he gets very frustraited with this at times.
. No Having Hooves ~ Link is a bit mad over the fact that he doesn't have hooves. With hooves, you can easily attack and do damage in fighting. Without hooves, Link somewhat feels a bit werid, like an outsider. Luckily, he has his friends who support him through the tough times, making him realize that it's not bad to be different.
. A Hurt Friend ~ One thing that makes Link very upset is if one of his close friends are sick. When his friends are sad, he seems to be sad. Their emotions seem to rub off on him sometimes.

"The Time is here, the Siv has started." The voice of the Prime echoed through the clearing as many Goennecs had their head's high, listening closely. "We are kind and nice. If a female wishes not to follow a male, the male is forbidden to force her. Remember this well. Good luck to all." And with that, the Prime jumped from his perch and padded off, probably to go woo females.

In all directions, ewes giggled and the males went over to them. All but one male. And that, was Link. Link was interested in the Siv, and loved the idea of having a family, he just wasn't aware that it was happening. Not aware, because he was asleep. He had been on watch the previous night, and was catching up on his missed hours.

"Uh, Link? Are you alright?" A light voice questioned, and a hoof proded Link in the side, causing his eyes to open. "Huh?" Raising his head, Link noticed that his friend Faline had approched. Faline and Link had been friends since they were Kids, both becoming strong Soldiers.

"The Siv started today, remember? Dont you want more ewes in your harem then Demeter, right?" She questoined, and Link stared at her blankly. Even though his expression was blank, his mind was whirling. Ever since he was a Kid, Link always felt like a shadow when he was near Demeter, his rival. Demeter had everything. A good and very detailed coat, big horns, and flashing charm. These were things Link didn't have.

" I s'ppose, but jeals'y isn't the way to go sometimes. I'mma build a harem 'cause I want a family." Link mumbled, sitting up. Faline nodded, for she had heard this from the male before. "Yes, yes, I know. I admire you for that. You may not be as strong as Demeter, but your a lot smarter. Sometimes Demeter has the brain of a squirrel." She said, rolling her eyes.

In the distance, Link could make out Demeter going up to every ewe he could find, asking her to join his harem. It was a bit disturbing in a way, for the male was more popular then the Prime himself. Standing up, Link looked to Faline, blinking. "Who do I ask? I want a family with s'mone. I want to teach my children the ways of living. How do I attract them?" He questioned, cocking his head. At his words, Faline just laughed and rolled her eyes. "You will know when the time comes, Link. Take care." She said softly, trotting off.

~Later At Night~

Curled up in a tight ball, Link was sleeping soundly alongside all the other Soldiers. His sleep had been peaceful, but it was now disrupted by a sound outside of the den. Pricking his ears, Link stood up and slowly padded outside, looking around. The moon glowed brightly, escaping the darkness of the night. This allowed Link to see the two forms off in the distance. Faline and Demeter. That's odd... The words danced in Link's mind, and he slowly headed towards the forms, hiding among the trees until he was close enough to hear them.

"I am the most popular Goennec in the herd, there is no reason for you to not want me. You will join my harem. Say no once more, and I will make you." Demeter said sternly, head held high. Faline was not one to give in though, for her head was also held up too. "Obviously you need to clean out your ears. No." She said, snorting. Then she turned around and started to trot off. The trot wasn't very fast, for Demeter caught up to her and stood in front of the ewe, eyes blazing. "How dare you! I am the most promising Goennec in this herd. You are the only ewe left that is not in a harem, and you will be in mine! No matter what you say, you will be in mi-" Demeter's words were cut off as the wind was blown from him, for Link had crashed into his side, standing in front of Faline. "You talk to much.." He muttered softly, head down as he prepared for a fight. "Forcing a Goennec s'not allowed. You will stop and fight." He said.

Demeter seemed to chuckle, for it was obvious to see he was a lot stronger then Link. Head down, he kicked at the dirt and then ran straight towards Link, horns ready. Faline was in the distance, having moved away from the two fighting rams. When Demeter was close enough, Link simply stepped to the side, and then quickly crashed into the male's side again, causing Demeter to stumble and fall. "You are very slow..." He said calmly, face blank. Blank as his face was, Link was very upset at the male. He had tried to force Faline to join his harem, which was not allowed. Behind Link's blocked out eyes, rage and the thought of protecting Faline went through his mind. Rearing up, Link slammed his paws down on Demeter and held them there, tail high. "I win, you can go." He said, and Demeter snorted. Of course, Link didn't look back to see what the male would do next, because he was too busy trotting towards Faline.

"I sorry, Faline. You can go sleep now if you wish." Link said softly, pawing at the grass beneath his paws as the ewe simply giggled. "Oh Link, there is no need for that. Ever since I've met you, there has been no other Goennec I've wanted to spend time with. Demeter has the brain as a squirrel, as I said earlier. You have the the brain of...well, something really smart. And you also have a heart of gold. No Goennec like Demeter can compare to what I feel for you." She said, nuzzling Link, who was standing there, feeling like his paws had been glued to the floor. "Oh, s'well then. That's good." He said, and Faline chuckled. For a moment, Link's face cracked, and a smile flickered onto his face for a moment. But then it seemed to vanish, as if the wind had blown it off. But Link knew that the smile would come back. As long as Faline was with him, those same winds would probably come back.

~Epilogue~

In the end, Faline and Link were always by eachother's side, dreaming the days away happily. When the time had come, Faline had given birth to a beautiful darling ewe, named Melody. And even though Link usually had a blank face, every once in a while, those familar winds seemed to come back. And if you happened to be lucky, you'd catch a small smile flickering onto Link's face, then vanishing. But there was no need to worry, for that smile always came back. It was never gone for long.

Oh my, there are so many reasons on why I want Link, he is just perfection. <3
In terms of telling the truth, I skipped over him bright away, for he didn't really show out to me. I was too taken away by the bright and daring expressions of many Goennecs, along with their detailed designs. I loved Malt's purple colors, and Blue had stolen a part of my heart for some time. Not to mention Parriz had such beautiful markings, and such big eyes. But after I thought about it, Malt didn't really connect with me, I didn't see Parriz in my herd in the future, and after a while, Blue's markings where too bright for me. But when I saw Link, I noticed how simple yet beautiful his markings where, I could see him in my herd in the future, and he was just overall adorable.
The fluffy mane, the folded ears, and the fact that he has no hooves I find adorable. The fluffiness of Goennecs are one of the main reasons I love them, and Link shows that out perfectly. I've also had my secret obsession with folded ear Goennecs, for they look like little puppies. And then, the paws. I have just now noticed them, and adore it greatly.
One of the last reason I love Link is because of his expression. When you gave away the answers, his was "blank expression". Normally that would bore others, but it seemed to deeply excite me. With the blank expression, it's like having a blank peice of paper. You can write anything or do anything on that paper. With Link I can express him however I want too, making things much more fun.

~Ɯнαт Ɩ'ℓℓ ∂σ ιғ Ɩ Ħαʌɛ Ħιм~

If I get Link, he will be a target for art, and a target for my art competition I have recently made. He will be put into my herd, most likely as the Prince, and will get much love along side Penny. Link will be in the herd character thread if I get him, and will be put into many stories. And dont worry, I'm not telling lies. I will surely present my stories to everything in the Goennec Fan Club, so you can many others can read it.
Link will also go into the roleplay if I get him. I love how you expressed the Goennec's personalities and thoughts this round, and I'd love to express Link through the roleplay. ^-^
