Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: Shes beyond stunning. Her markings, the style, her erotic elegance, Its all pure stunning. The reason to me wanting her, is mainly because i had an instant connection, i haven't felt so driven towards a character in a good few years. i can't even begin to describe the click i have with her. As for what i would use her for, well i can tell you she will be on the top part of my mains list, i would love to write stories with her, get art when i can find a poor artist willing to draw her.She just gives me so much insperation..i can't even..start to explain.

Personality: Sayuri is very strong, her past has toughened not only her soul and emotions but her body and mind as well. She Doesn't tend to allow herself to become a victim and tries to be a good role model to the Village children to whom she has the honor of watching over.
Though she is strong, she is also stubborn, in many ways she is like her mother. She refuses to back down even when she knows the fight is beyond lost. She also refuses to admit she was wrong and dislikes having been proven wrong. She does tend to use her family ties to threaten others that try to rally against her. Though these are idol threats and rarely work, Its typically considered her last resort.
Dealing with her past, one may see how she can be so cold and numb to love from another. Years of countless heartbreak, betrayal and cruel mocking from other deities, gods and humans alike, have carved a numb girl. This seems to be her downfall. She is greatly lonely and seeks companionship, though once found, she tends to push them away. Out of fear she isn't good enough or they are not good enough for her, no one can really say which it is. One thing is clear, she walks among humans and gods, alone, crying on the inside but trying hard to keep numb to others.
♥Likes♥:
-Job-
Sayuri has many loves, likes and interests. The biggest out of anything is her job. Most would say she was to dedicated to protecting the village she was bound to. She would have no trouble making many reasons why she enjoys her job.
-Cherry Blossoms-
Another thing she loves is cherry blossoms. The best time of the year, the prettiest, and the best tea is made around this time. She enjoys the sight and sound of the cherry blossom festivals and watching the village dance and sing. From time to time ,even she, will adorn her main with little blossoms.
-Geisha-
Geisha are another thing she enjoys. Whether its watching them walk the streets in beautiful kimono or watching bits and pieces of their performance. Sayuri enjoys it all. She even has a small dream to maybe one day become one, if only for a few hours. She sits in her tree above the village and watches them walk, watching the graceful way their body move almost as if they are not walking but gliding. How one could turn many heads with only a quick glance. She does have a small tinge of hatred for these humans for having beauty and grace but also a love for them as well.
-Being loved-
But unlike her mother's side, She doesn't like to be alone. Just knowing someone will be there to catch her when she falls is one of the highest likes on her list. She Isn't solitary though she does live a hermit's life for the most part. She would rather be with others then alone.

Dislikes:
-Others of her kind-
Sayuri greatly dislikes other deities and gods for their cruelty to the lesser beings. Anyone who harms another out of sport is nothing short of a coward in her book. She wouldn't mind taking a few of those types of vermin out of the worlds. Even in the same area as one, she can feel the venom getting ready to roll of her tongue and in to the face of the scum.
-Winter-
Winter is one of her mostly disliked times of the year. She was never one for cold weather, despite the fact she has heavy think fur covering her. She feels as though winter is like death, sapping away all life with in the area it covers with its ghostly white blanket. The colors which once flourished the land has been taken away, replaced with brutal cold and desperate times of starvation.
-Self-
Herself, She can not stand to look in any mirrors, or any other reflective surfaces. She considered herself a monster, a freak of nature...a half breed. Growing up, the only thing she learned was how much no other being, whether it god or otherwise, would be there for her. She put up a stone wall to keep others away from her heart and pushes away anything good that may help her.
History/Background: Long ago, in a land ruled by gods whom walked among the humans as giants. Lived a small tigress, who was considered a runt from her larger siblings, and thus was abandoned by her family after they had agreed that she was a weak-link and would cause a downfall. Left for dead, the young tigress vowed to prove her family wrong and become known. Known for what? She still had not figured that out yet.
Years had passed since that day, that little tigress was now a warrior. Already taken down many shogun, she knew where she belonged and wouldn't let anything stand in her way. Bloody from war, scars ran along her once delicate frame, she was no longer a runt, no longer a push over. She no longer allowed anyone to get near her.
That was Until he came....
-few years later-
A small creature was brought in to the land of the living by and unholy pairing of a god and a war driven tiger. The carnage that many feared this newborn would create was beyond nerve wracking. The emperor decided to send out his best generals and shogun to kill this monster that had been brought upon them, before it grew and killed them.
As the soldiers approached the mountain which had been said, the birth place of the great dragon god orochi, the men took much cation in their movements. Any small sound had them jumping, most knew they were walking to their death, and some even had a plan of suicide so they wouldn't have to deal with the prolong suffering the dragon would send upon them. This was a war few would ever live to retell to their family.
As they came closer to a small opening in the mountain's side, they could heard a heavy breath, and dust flying out of the cave, as if a giant was resting in there. When general Dao-ming glanced in to the cave, he could not make any approximate measurements as to how far the cave went in or any creatures laying in slumber with in it. After a few moments, he gained the courage, and dragged 6 other souls along with him inside the seemingly abyss of the cavern. The troops awaited their general's return.
Many hours passed before one of the lower officers finally decided they were going to storm the cave. All the troops, officers and the remaining general gathered their strength, weapons and said their final silent farewells to their family in the villages down below. With that, they charged in swords drawn, pikes set forward.
One man, by the name of lee chow survived the ordeal. Blood leaving his body, he moved swiftly to one of the stabled horses below and left to go to the emperor. A long crimson trail fallowed behind, it wasn't long before chow met with one of his majesty's messengers. He lifted his arm to beckon the messenger over, gave him a small pouch that was big enough to hold a puppy Akita and collapsed to the ground.
He lifted the dead solider on to his horse and walked back to the main village, the he gave the brave man his final resting place, lit some incense and left to relay what had happened to all the other soldiers in the emperors care.
On his way ,however, his horse had spooked, rearing up knocking the messenger and his bag of messages as well as the small pouch off and over the pathway. Without taking much inventory, he gather what was in arms length and rushed back to his mission. Leaving the most important thing behind him.
Not to long after, a Shinto priestess had stumbled upon the small bag, moving and wiggling around. She bent down carefully and lifted the small thing off the creature that lay inside. She froze once her eyes set upon the small furry dragon like beast. She could hear off in the distance, the voices of shogun. She gathered the small beast set it in her basket and proceeded to walk back to the shrine where she would be able to think of what to do in peace.
She stared at the small creature for many moments, holding her staff and sutras, unsure if she could really have the heart to kill such an innocent thing, despite what it may be.
-late childhood, early teens-
The priestess raise the young Sayuri in hiding. Not because she was ashamed she could not kill the small creature, but out of fear of what others would do to Sayuri if they should find her. Tucked away in the bottem of the shrine's hidden basement, young Sayuri lived in mostly darkness. Aside from the candle lamps the priestess had kept light for her, it was complete shadows against night.
It wasn't exaclty the best of childhoods, though the priestess tried to make Sayuri feel loved and welcomed, she knew she was a monster deep inside.Never to be loved like others, never to feel “friendship. All she knew was this dark cell and the only caretaker who will ever show her kindness.
Sayuri felt a great sadness for the priestess, Having to care for a monstrosity like her, and risk her life in case Sayuri were to ever be found out. She knew there would be no chance for the priestess to ever escape a fait as cruel as the one the shogun would throw upon her if her secret were ever reviled. For this, Sayuri weeped, For this, Sayuri Sobbed.
Many moons passed, and though the days seemed to be nothing more then a broken record, in terms of how the days seemed to be of the same routine.
The rise of the sun signaled breakfast fallowed by a quick bath which then would lead her back in to her cage for a 3 hour nap fallowed by lunch, and if no one aside from the priestess was in the shrine, Sayuri could come out of her dungeon and walk around the temple. If someone else was there, she could not come out but roam around the basement instead. Another nap would come then dinner, which usually consisted of what left-overs the monk had left. After the moon had come up and all were asleep on the grounds, the priestess would let sayuri out to roam the grounds. Then back to bed with the young creature and priestess.
By now Sayuri was becoming to big for her basement, the priestess felt it was time to let her go. But the trouble was, where and when would it be safe for Sayuri. By now the land had become so heavy in war amongst itself, many were dead and so many soldiers roamed the area. The task was nearly impossible, but there had to be a way.
Unfortunately the time was up on her plan, before she could even finish the details, the temple was stormed with soldiers from a rival town's shogun. As the troops made their way up the stairs, taking out every monk and priestess as well as destroying any statue, the young priestess knew she needed to get Sayuri out and soon.
She swiftly ran down the to the basement and unchained the young dragon mutt, begging forgiveness for such a bad escape and said a few prayers to have the gods watch over sayuri. The sound of the heavy boots and the hooves of horses drew nearer, as the priestess made it back up the stairs with sayuri close behind, they realize that had been blocked in by stave's and swords.
Backed up against a wall the priestess weeped, begging and pleading for mercy, as the shogun approached, he staied at the sayuri and mouthed “what monstrosity is this?” he snarled at the priestess for an explanation. When she failed to provide one he was happy with, he ordered his men to drag her out side and executed her.
Sayuri looked on at the limp body of the only being to ever show her kindness and love, a seething hatred begin to boil with-in her. Snarling at the shogun, Sayuri's main begin to move like an angry flame among dry leaves in summer. She swiped at him, missing his flesh but ripping open his armor, the shogun drew his sword and struck back, hitting her in the shoulder.
She snarled and reared back, spitting out the word “vermin” like acid from a snake's bite. The shogun was taken aback, shocked this beast could even speak his tongue. By now the troops have returned to help aid their commander. Throwing rope around Sayuri, trying to tie her down, and restrain her.
She bellowed out another fierce roar before thrusting up and ripping the rope from their hands, taking a few figures along with it. When she brought her front claws down, the sound of snapping wood under her weight, with one last thrust of her massive paw, she was able to not only succeed in hitting a few soldiers but also the shogun. Leaving more then enough room for her escape.
Fleeing in to the Aokigahara forest, the soldiers stopped their chase of her. Fearing what demons lurk in such an evil damned place.
-Current-
Since that day, many many years have passed, generations have grown and left like the walking of time itself. The moon and sun have danced a crossed the sky as old ways are thrown and new weapons are brought to use of mortals.
And little Sayuri? Well she has grown a lot since then, double her length and tripled her weight since that grim day. She hasn't strayed to far from her once childhood dwelling, nor the young priestess' grave site. Though with modern technology and humanities need for more space and natural resources, Sayuri's hiding places among the deep forests have started to diminish. The rivers are drying up and covered by homes and complexes.
The young deity does in deed, weep the loss of the land and those who use to care for it. But she knows times are changing and with all change comes drastic moving. Even now, where her den is, human pups roam close in playful manor. She knows, if she says she would have to risk her life, but if she moves, how long will she be safe?
She has spoken to the past deities, guardians and protectors over the land, their numbers fade in to shadow, but as long as she is still here, despite the harsh and cruel way humans tried to end her life, she will protect those who still believe in her.
Sitting on her cliff, which gives enough view over yamanashi and its surroundings. She can not but help to still be in awe over how the land has transformed , not only technology but culturally as well. She does miss those simpler days when she was able to walk through the landscape unseen and unheard, only a whispered rumor of villagers.
Perhaps one day, the loneness will diminish from her, perhaps one day she will no longer be a rumor but instead a legend. But until that time comes, she will remain at her post, ever looking, ever watching, protecting and waiting.
