What's this? Tiki got off her butt and updated? o3o I'm really sorry for the delay, guys; school was sucking any energy I had away from me...but now that the semester is over, it's time to bring this puppy back to life! 8D I'm going to be updating the color scheme here soon to reflect the winter season, hopefully Waralz will get bundled up, and our star will be put up as soon as I can revamp it. :3

In other news...in celebration of the Christmas season, we want our characters to get homes. Therefore, we're increasing the slot limit by one. That's right, an extra slot to do with as you please! Want to go for 3 commons? Go for it! Two freaks and two commons? Why not? The choice is yours. 8D

Now, how about we open up the doors once more, and let the adopting begin~!

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:I would love to use her and giver her a good home
Personality:gypsy is brave, adventurous, and curious
Likes:she loves fields of flowers and padding down the rivers in the savanna
Dislikes:she hates Raffi (you'll learn about him in the backstory)
History/Background: Gypsy was the best hunter and fighter in all of river pride! She loved it there and had the respect of even the older cheetahs. Gypsy had many friends. One of her best friends was sandy. She loved her father the king. His name was collie and he had as much pride in her as a father could ever have in a daughter. All in all, gypsy loved her life.

One day gypsy was walking down the river that seperated them from shadow pride. Her mother tsunami padded beside her. Sandy flanked her other side. As they padded downstream,gypsy scented the air for a good place to hunt. Almost right away she scented antelope. She nodded her head and pointed tward the herd to let tsunami and sandy know. Gypsy targeted the weakest antelope and nodded for tsunami and sandy to get in position. Tsunami and sandy pushed the rest of the herd back. Gypsy chased the injured one across the river. She was so focused on the antelope she didn't smell the shadowpride markers!

Gypsy dragged down the antelope and gave it a swift killing bite. She turned back to her mother and sandy who were standing acrossed the river. "Did you guys see-" she cut herself off as she examined the fear on their faces. She slowly followed their gazes and turned around just in time to see the huge black cheetah lunge at her. He pinned her down and stared at her with blazing yellow eyes. His hot breath hit her face as he let out a raging huff. Then he knocked her so hard she flew across the river and straight into sandy. As gypsy heaved herself off the ground, she caught a glimpse of the cheetah hauling away her antelope. " hay that's mine!" She snarled. The cheetah growled through a mouth full of fur. " not anymore" and he hauled it to shadowpride camp.

Gypsy gave an angry huff and looked at tsunami. Tsunami gazed back with a horrified glare. " do you know who that was!?!" She asked. " that's Raffi! The shadowpride king!" Gypsy growled. " I don't care who he is. He'll pay for that antelope.."

Gypsy padded to collies den. Even though collie was her father it still worried her when she had to discuss things like this with him. She waited outside the den for him to invite her in. When he did she padded in swiftly. " father, I must talk to you." She mewed. " what is it?" Collie stated roughly. Gypsy told him the story of the antelope and Raffi. Collie looked down. " if this continues, we will battle." He stated quietly then shooed her out if his den.

A few days later gypsy was hunting with sandy. They had looked everywhere for a good place to hunt but to no avail. gypsy did scent something else... Blood! Gypsy's eyes grew wild. She ran from sandy on the direction of the smell. " where are you going!" Sandy shouted after her. Gypsy didn't hear. All she could focus on was the smell of blood. She darted through cracks in the rocks and around fallen logs. Finally she came to a grassy clearing. She smelled river pride blood. It was mixed with the scent of shadowpride! She dashed through the grass to find tsunami laying on the ground.. She was dead!

After telling collie about tsunami, he had declared a battle with shadowpride. " we will attack at dawn!" He yowled. Gypsy was ready. She was ready to defend her pride, her territory, and her mothers death.

In the morning many cheetahs whispered quietly as collie put them in a battle line. Gypsy was placed on the end next to sandy. As the battle line was placed outside of shadowpride camp gypsy twitched her tail. Finally it was time. " now!" Collie growled. The battle line broke down the camp walls and attacke the unsuspecting shadowpride lions. Gypsy engaged a battle with a dark golden lioness that sent her running into the grass. After knocking another black cheetah over the head a new battle caught her eye. Collie was battling with raffi! And raffi was winning.

Gypsy watched as Raffi pinned collie down and threw him agenst a tree. She saw blood well up in collies white fur where raffi had scratched him. That was when gypsy stepped in. She jumped into raffi and pinned him down. " this is where it ends." She growled at him. She slashed at his face. He was strong. He pushed her off with his hind legs but she wasn't out yet. She snarled and rebounded at his throat. He dodged her attack and bit her hind leg. She howled in pain and tore at his ear. Sandy bit into his tail. Raffi yowled and let go of gypsy! Gypsy got a hold of raffis neck and it was all over. River pride won!

Soon after the attack, many of the shadowpride cheetahs moved to riverpride. Gypsys life was back to normal. Except for the absence of her mother, gypsy was happy again.

Gypsy will always be remembered in both shadow, and riverpride for her bravery, and courage
