Name You'd Choose for It: Sparky
Gender: Male
Reason You Want It: As a little friend for my kitten, Elsu, who I recently got from this threadI love the way the colors complement each other, and it's such an unusual character
History/Background/Other: I yawned and wiggled out of my cocoon.
"I'm all wet!" I noticed. I turned to look at my new wings. "Pink?? Of all colors.." I sighed. I shook myself to dry off a little, and stretched my wings. I hopped up to try to fly, but as soon as I pushed against the air to take off, I plummeted back down onto my little branch. "Now what?" I wondered. All of a sudden, I heard shouting.
"Mama, mama! Look at this pretty butterfly!" I saw a kitten yell. He had tawny fur and a curious look in his eyes.
"Hi!" I greeted him.
"You talk?" the kitten exclaimed. "Wow! Do you want to be my friend? My name's Elsu!"
"Ok! I don't think I have a name, though. My mom left me before I hatched, so I never learned it"
"Don't you miss her?" Elsu asked. "I love my mama. Anyways, can I call you Sparky? You are all bright, just like a little spark!"
"Am I? Ok, Sparky worksI like that name!" I hopped over to Elsu on my feeble legs, and took a leap. I spread out my wings, pushed up against the air.. and fell.
"Are you ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am still learning how to fly" The kitten extended his tail, and I climbed onto it and was lifted on to his head.
After that, Elsu and I were always together. He was lonely with two sisters but no brothers, and I was just lonely. Although I could fly now, I still liked to sit on his head and ride around. Sometimes I would flutter up just above him, and he loved chasing me.

Name You'd Choose for It:
Willow
Gender:
Fluffies are technically genderless, but is considered female
Reason You Want It:
She is adorable. <3
I've wanted to adopt her for a while now, but I've been trying to cut back on adoptions as I have a lot of characters already. I hoped she'd get adopted out quickly, and I figured she would since she had such a pretty design, so that I wouldn't end up putting in a form for her. It's been quite a while now, though, and I'm amazed that she's still here at the Agency.
I was drawing her out of boredom and intended to submit the image as a revamp, hoping that maybe that would revive some interest in her, but I ended up falling in love with her so I have to put in a form.
I love everything about her design. The colors work perfectly together, and the species is adorable. She reminds me so much of a little fairy, and she'd fit right in with my bunch of charries.
History/Background/Other:
Quiet and curious, Willow is largely a solitary creature, often preferring to explore on her own rather than in the company of friends.
This isn't to say she doesn't like being with others, though, she just finds that her biggest discoveries are ones made when others aren't there to see. She can always just show them after, anyways.
Her closest friends are a pair of owls that she shares a hollow with. Two very gentle and kind great horned owls, along with a new batch of owlets every breeding season. Though under normal circumstances the fluffy would likely make an easy meal for the pair, they appear pretty attached to Willow, perhaps because she gives them something to look after when the owlets have flown away.
Her other friends consist mainly of birds, along with her few "imaginary" friends.
She believes strongly in the existence of fairies, claiming that they're always flying about and using their magic, they're just always in hiding. Even small flickers of light from the swaying branches above can be enough to send her chasing after them.
She claims to have caught one once. A bright, glittering creature with two sets of wings that she claimed could fly better than any other creature she saw before. Under closer inspection the creature turned out to be a dragonfly, but this didn't put a stop to her searches.
Seeming to be a true child at heart, no one ever tries to put a stop to this. Sure they think she's a bit nuts, but the other animals of the forest enjoy watching her odd antics. It's rare to see her without a smile on her face.
Perhaps, though, she isn't quite as crazy as they all think.

|Name You'd Choose for It:| Kemp
|Gender:| Stallion
|Reason You Want It:| I am truly captivated by Kemp's design and relationship with the other stallion, Stampede. I've been looking to start a story arc with a few horse characters that I currently lack, and upon seeing Kemp, and his rival, I knew these two would be a great fit for what I'm trying for. If Kemp is placed into my care, I'll see to it that he has a place in my character site (which is still under-construction), art done of him, and perhaps placed into a on-going comic along with Stampede.
|History/Background/Other:|
|Personality|
-|Arrogant/ Egotistical|-
A very 'in-your-face' type character, Kemp displays extreme arrogance in many, if not all situations. He places himself higher than anyone else and is not afraid to take on anyone's challenge to it. Jeers of 'hothead' and 'ego' aren't uncommon from herd mates, or anyone else for that matter. Kemp is known for miles for having the biggest ego around, as well as being extremely proud of it. Many an unpleasant, unwanted situation has occurred only because Kemp's pride has gotten in the way. He never backs down from a challenge and isn't afraid to start one, never mind how needless it is. This particular trait is also one of the main reasons that Stampede, his rival, loathes Kemp.
-|Stubborn|-
Trying to get Kemp to change his mind is quite similar to weaning a young colt- long, painful, and a lot of drama. In Kemp's mind, he is amazing and astounding and all of his descisions are the right thing he should do. However, the rest of the world recognizes that most of Kemp's ideas aren't well thought out, no one benefits (save Kemp), and just pretty much terrible. Attempting to get Kemp to rethink some of them is often fruitless. Don't argue with Kemp. He's always right.

|Gender:| Stallion
|Reason You Want It:| As the same with Kemp, I am very attracted to Stampede's design, as well as the rival relationship he shares with the other stallion, Kemp. As I noted with Kemp, he would be placed into a story arc that I have been planning, as well as a comic about the said story. Considering that he already has a mate and foals with another character, I shall try my best to incorporate them into my story and such. If I should win him, Stampede shall receive a page on my character site, art of himself and Kemp, and the placement into a comic that I'm planning.

Name You'd Choose for It: Yutu (means Coyote out hunting in Miwok indian)
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: Great design and as a charrie and fursona.
History/Background/Other: Yutu was part of the Miwok indian tribe. She lived in a human form with her family, until one day danger showed up upon the mountains. The strongest wolves and men were sent to fight. Little did anyone know, but Yutu was able to shift from human to wolf and back again. She shifted behind one of the grass homes, and came charging out for battle. Many times, she had fought against opposing forces, but this time would be different. Her spirit sang with excitment and anticipation. Men hollared their battle cries and among the rest of the wolves, Yutu howled. The battle was smoothe and nearly flawless with few lives lost and minimal injuries. As they walked home from their ominous win, Yutu crouched behind a tree, in order to shift. A storm had rolled through just as the battle was ending, and suddenly, the first strike of lightning lit the earth, and right in its path was young Yutu. As the electricity danced through her system, she convulsed, changing from K-9 to human and back again rapidly. When it finally wore off, she found herself still in her mighty wolf body. Something was wrong. Yutu could no longer shift into her human form anymore. Sure, she could shift into nearly anything else, but always came back to her wolf body. What used to be a long tan coat was now decorated with electric blue and smokey grey. Perhaps these marks were to remind her of the story that began her new life. Whatever it was Yutu could not run back to her family, instead she retreated to the forest, living among other wolves and creatures.

Name You'd Choose for It:Summer
Gender:Female
Reason You Want It:Her design makes me happy and reminds me that life is playful. It also can't help that I have a soft spot for scene wolves. :3 I admire her beautiful simplicity, a sparkle dog that doesn't take it too far. She also has a nice use of green and orange together, a color combination that can be frightening if not used the right way. I admire her a lot and she looks like a character I would do a lot of art of. I can't put it into words really, she just fits.
Personality:
Life's a little off the wall and hard to understand, you might try mathematic formulas but in the end you have to take a stand.
Sometimes it's better to view life in a more abstract way, use your right brain and paint swirls around it's colorful edges~Optimistic and freedom-loving
Jovial and good-humored
Honest and straightforward
Intellectual and philosophical
The traits above were on the Sagittarius zodiac sign from this website and mirror what I believe Summer's personality to be exactly. What is written below is inspired by the Sagittarius zodiac sign, though some of her traits directly clash with it. All writing below is my own, just influenced by the zodiac sign.
Summer is very optimistic and often seems to have an endless flow of energy. She loves trying new things and enjoys exploration and being adventurous, especially when it involves exploring new cultures, traditions, things in nature.
Summer is very right brained, and a global thinker, her mind is always open to new ideas and she likes to think of alternative ways to preform tasks. She's always changing her mind and running into new projects. Some may consider her to be overly-ambitious or uncommitted, as she seems so "spur of the moment", but really, she thinks things through before she jumps into them, though this is rarely obvious. Whatever project or activity Summer has jumped into she takes on with vitality and vigor and these energies continue to be channeled through the whole project. On the other hand, Summer isn't always sure how many projects are too many. Her sometimes overly optimistic view of things can blind her to the reality that she can't do everything.
Summer has strong, steadfast opinions that are rarely swayed, and therefore loves to debate and share her opinion on things. Modest, yet outgoing, Summer loves acting, singing and dancing but won't admit to being particularly good at them. She's almost always truthful, honest and kind to others. If she feels that a person is a fake, or is not truly committed she will often wish to kick them out, yet she rarely has the courage to do so.
Summer can be very loving. She's extremely loyal to causes, projects, and most of all, people. One of her friends could murder someone and her opinion on them wouldn't sway in the slightest. She can be very loyal, loving, generous, selfless and compassionate. She tries to be as sincere and straightforward as possible, except when she knows what she has to say could potentially hurt someone she loves. Even when she does know this she sometime has a hard time hiding it. She tends to wear her heart on her sleeve and it often isn't very difficult to guess her emotions.
Due to her beautiful and strangely well balanced personality, her compassion for others, and her loyalty and generosity Summer is often taken advantage of. When she loves someone, or thinks she does she can be blinded and throw her gift of judgment out the window. Often she will not realize she has/is being used until someone else points it out to her or it's already too late. When this happens Summer will often give them second chances, chances to redeem themselves, which often backfire. She has a hard time realizing this person who seemed so trustworthy and the person she loved so much isn't who she thought they were. She sometimes also has a hard time admitting she was wrong.
She does realize however, that she can't please everybody and that there are some people that are just not worth her time. If they want to have her they have to take her with all her little imperfections, strange realities and little insecurities. She's not one to take crap from people she doesn't care about, though sometimes she's unsure on how to kick them out of a project or her life if need be.
Despite her sometimes loopy, unprepared, all-over-the-place appearance Summer is actually quite intelligent. She often thinks about life and what is fair and just. She dislikes math and science and more school related learning, and prefers to ponder on more abstract questions. She tends to think ahead, and she's often right about what she has to say. She has an open mind and a wide range of abilities and interests, giving her a very "widely ranging" mind. As mentioned above, she's rather quick minded and will jump around and think more rapidly than others. Along with exploring cultures, traditions and places in nature Summer also enjoys exploring new ideas and concepts, but only ones that are to her liking. She is able to open up her mind to realms most others rarely touch, and in this way tends to bring delightfully fresh and new ideas to any situation.
One thing Summer is not as good at is organizing things. Maybe she's organized in her head, but not with her materials. Her workspace and home tend to be very messy and disorganized, although she swears that she knows where everything is. She often loses things and puts things in places that she doesn't usually keep them. She has a hard time keeping a routine.
Likes:Doodling, summer, singing, friends, debating, orange soda, converse, photography, bracelets, dancing, music, Paramore, freedom, acting/theater, fruit loops, exploring, the smell of the outdoors, and swimming.
Dislikes:Winter, closed/tight spaces, bugs, fighting/war, people who are strict and controlling, being cold, lima beans, art thieves, fake people, math, slowing down, not being able to roam, having to worry about tiny facts, numbers, dates and details, and being forced to do something she dislikes.
History:
[From Summer's perspective.]
I must admit, my past isn't the most exiting. I could probably be considered a typical teenage girl or whatever. I do have a small story to tell, but few people even think it is significant so I fear that few will read it. I will write it here for my own benefit if for nothing else.
I was born to the average crazy household of two other siblings. I was never very close to either of them, but they were extremely close to each other. They were both females as I was, but their minds worked so differently. They were both introverts, pessimists, and kept to themselves most of the time. Whenever they briefly came out of their little corner they would share nothing of interest to me. It would be gibberish or a theory I had come up with long ago. If wasn't either of those things it was something that had to do with math. I hated math. Along with our other differences we were also different in appearance. I was bright and colorful, yet with an eye pleasingly simple design, while my two sisters, while not twins, both bore dark, somewhat over-dramatic designs. Our differences didn't stop there though. I had tons of friends, was energetic, playful, loved color, nature, dancing singing and anything social, while my sisters had very few interests. If it wasn't domino's, a card or board game, or some other quiet activity than they would avoid it like the plague. So even though I grew up with two sisters, I felt so alone, so cut off from them and their secrets and codes. I was more of an only child, and I think my parents favored me a bit more. I was into at least fifty activities and I had tones of friends, when they asked me to do something i would actually complain about doing it instead of curling up in the corner with a book and refusing to respond. I would get all the toys, games, whatever I wanted from my parents. You rarely hear stories from the spoiled or favorite child's perspective do you? But here I am, the favorite out of three siblings.
As I grew I can't say I changed dramatically other than in maturity and my understanding of things. I still had my basic personality and didn't go through a huge crisis like many animals claim to have gone through. My sisters however grew more irritated by each other. The once inseparable pair now stormed angrily about looking for revenge. I felt like I was two-timing the pair. One would come to me and rant about the other and then the other would come and do the same. It wasn't the most pleasant of experiences, but i lived through it. Eventually my sisters grew so angered by each other they had to be moved into separate rooms. The thing was, no one knew why they were becoming so angry, so disobedient, so.....different than they used to be. Every doctor or psychiatrist we saw blamed it on hormones etc. But it wasn't that, and you'd have to know the pair to understand just how we knew it wasn't. As time went on the pair couldn't even see each other without exploding emotionally/mentally. It became so bad the two seemed to go into panic attacks when they saw each other, it was like a phobia. One day my mother decided she had had enough and moved their bedrooms back together, insisting that this would help them learn how to tolerate each other. The move only made matters worse however, and the two became completely distraught. We had to take them to so many therapists, doctors and specialists we were on the verge of giving up before we found someone who actually thought they might be able to solve the case without blaming it on hormones etc. Strangely enough, her methods worked! No suicide, no lifelong damage, no nothing. The two returned home as good as new, though the therapist wouldn't reveal what she had done or what had made them become so....repellent of each other. We just accepted the two back into the family and life continued on. That's pretty much my life up until now in a nutshell. Now I'm 16, in case that's important to any of you. :3

Her design instantly caught my attention and she sure has a beautiful design. I love her pale, cream colored markings and her colors compliment each other nicely. I also like how she has a touch of unnatural piercings and her golden eyes are lovely. She has one of my favorite color palettes for African Wild Dogs and I've always wanted an African Wild Dog character. I'm a total sucker for light, pale designs. She looks so adorable and I think she would have the perfect role in one of my plot lines. She'd have the role of being best friends with Lalita, the main instigator of trouble in the pack, and she would be a young healer in training. She was way too perfect to pass up for me.
She would get a spot on my character site and I would be sure have art ordered of her when I can. I'd love to draw this stunning lady as well, it would be good practice for me and she looks like fun to draw. I would write stories about her and her reluctant adventures with Lalita and the other pack members too of course. I'd also like to try a hand at roleplaying her, as I don't often roleplay my personal characters that I write about. I've got tons of ideas for her and she gives inspiration to my muse and I'd love to have a chance to express it <3
>>History/Background/Other<<
Note: She is what the other dogs in her original pack called a "silver-tongue" or an "elf dog". They were Painted Dogs that were very pale in color and had beautiful voices. Also, many of the silver-tongues were naturally fluent in several different languages and a dialect know as "Elishi" that could only be spoken by elf dogs. Many of the pack thought they were supernatural beings and worshiped the so called elf dogs. Due to this, the silver tongued canines were adorned with jewelry, which most of the rest of the pack did not have. Silfvur's mother was a silver-tongue as well.
>>Personality<<
[fun loving]
She can't get enough of anything fun and exciting. She loves to just go crazy and let herself freak out and have a great time. Her favorite thing to do is run with Lalita. She also enjoys going on his so called adventures, which are rightly named. She can always be seen with a happy smile on her face. Nothing will stop her from having fun. She's a typical fun little puppy.
[adventurous]
She's a brave young girl and nothing will bring her down. Since living on her own she has learned to fear nothing, no matter what it might bring. She and Lalita often go on crazy trips which often result in near death experiences. She gets a thrill from such experiences and is sometimes thought of as completely mental.
[insecure at times]
Sometimes she can be very conflicted and insecure at times, as she tends to over think things way too often. Even the tiniest change in behavior can make her second guess her actions and regret even saying anything. Due to these insecurities she has a tendency to get a bit paranoid. Also, since she had to experience so much hate in her early days, she doesn't want to be hated again.
[guilty]
She often feels guilty if she does something bad or she knows she's not supposed to do. She will tend to sulk for hours and eventually turn herself in. Much to Lalita's protest of course. She just simply cannot live with the lingering guilt. She feels especially giulty when she makes fun of Lalita's height.
[graceful, well mostly]
She has the grace of a songbird with her voice, but when she runs there is a certain awkwardness to it. She can sing beautifully and speak many languages with ease. Her actions and sayings are often proper and full of grace. She thinks that she must feel and act pretty to do well in the pack. Although, she is clumsy in high speed.
[friendly]
She loves to make new friends, she is the type of dog that will go around making friends with everyone. She is a total socialite, but she tends to not have many opportunities to make friends out in the middle of nowhere. In her old pack she was often seen with many, many friends and she was quite popular.

I sat on a large, jagged rock jutting straight out of the sun baked ground. I stared ahead at the horizon and the golden plain that was set before me. This new place sure was beautiful, and it reminded me much of my original home, but I am still a stranger to these lands. I stretched out on the warm, rough surface as the sun beat down on my splotched back. I lazily yawned and closed my ochre colored eyes for a minute, until I felt Lalita pounce on my tail. I groaned out of protest, but he of course didn't listen. I brought myself right side up again and jokingly glared at him for a while. He laughed and there was a playful look in his bright, teal eyes. Finally he broke the lingering silence and asked excitedly "Verr, do you wanna go on another adventure?" I couldn't help but let a smile split my features, we always had the most amazing and crazy adventures. "Sure Lita, let's go!" I exclaimed as I stretched out my lanky body and jumped down from the rock. He laughed once more and chased after me, as I had started sprinting in the direction of the nearest tree I could spot.

He was a fast little devil though, and he easily caught up with me as I tried to hide behind the dried up tree. He caught me by the tail and I could hear the faint clinking sound of his claws against the bronze bracelets on my tail. I hung my head in mock shame and said softly "I guess you got me again Lita." He smiled and replied "Of course, I always do." Lalita was rather small and slender compared to me and therefore I was much stronger than him. "I can still pin you down in seconds though." I half laughed, half said to him. The cocky grin he wore grew larger and he claimed "On day miss Silfvur I will beat you, just you wait." I snorted at him and giggled at the thought of small little Lalita beating me in a fight. He glanced at me with somewhat harsh eyes and added "Yeah, yeah I know I'm small, but I swear I will." He hated it when I made fun of his shortness, and he had a knack for knowing when I was, even if I was thinking it to myself. "Alright Mr. Sensitive, let's go on that adventure shall we?" He mumbled moodily to him self and whispered, so the adults wouldn't hear "Follow me then, we're going to that rainforest just outside of the plains, the one Sunset carried me through."

I blinked profusely for a few moments, had I just heard him right? He wanted to go all the way to the rainforest, I could hardly believe he wanted to do something so unimaginable. It would take at least five days to get there, and who knows what he wants to do there. Aysun wanted me to stick around too, so she could help me in my training to become a healer. Still, I at least owed it to him to go after making fun of his size and he did save me from a fire on out last adventure. "What do you want to go to the rainforest for?" I asked, completely shocked. His features darkened a bit and he said quietly "I just want to revisit my past, and actually find out the truth of what happened." I nodded slightly, but I was still unsure. In a low voice, I whispered "The others will know we're gone though. Kali will start to worry about you." He scoffed and giggled slightly at my comment. "Don't worry Verr. They know we have a tendency to wander off for days." I nervously dug my obsidian claws into the hard ground and stared down at my paws with tentative golden eyes. "Fine Lita, I'll come with you."

His face lit up once more and he exclaimed rather loudly "Great, let's go then!" He dashed of westward and I struggled to keep up with his pace. My still too long legs and large puppy paws slowed me down greatly, while Lalita was much more streamlined and coordinated that me. Once we were well out of earshot of the other pack members, our lowered voices began to get louder and louder as we distanced ourselves away from the pack. Lalita looked at me nervously though, his usual lively eyes were looking somewhat worried and cautious today. Something looked way off, he wasn't usually like this. "Is something wrong Lita?" My voice wavered slightly, his strange actions caught me way off guard. "No, nothing's wrong. I was just wondering, would you mind telling me about your history again, Sil?" His voice sounded softly serious, which was totally something new. I gulped at the thought of having to remember my past, I had blocked it out for a reason. Still, I had nothing to lose. I muttered something in my language Elishi and smiled lightly at my friend. "Sure Lita, I'll tell you."

Lalita interjected. I swear I could feel my face get warmer by the second after he said that, nobody had ever called my voice pretty before. "O-oh, thanks Lita. As I said, I was a sliver-tongue, born to a silver-tongue mother. The Silver-tongues or elf dogs, as we were sometimes called was well, were known for their ability to speak many languages and their healing talents. The other wild dogs of our pack worshiped us like kings almost and they decorated our bodies with lavish jewelry most of the time. In turn, the silver-tongues began to have negative feelings towards the normal canines. My best friend at the time was one of the normal members and at the time being we were very young and we didn't understand it all. Kicking and screaming we let our parents drag us away, and that was the last I ever saw of my friend. With each passing day each side became more violent that before and my hatred for normal painted dogs grew. My mother was a smart one though, she knew that war was eventually going to break out in the pack. She was talking about moving the family somewhere far away, but before she and Father could make a final decision, the normal members decided to drive all the elf dogs out of the pack. Even though my father and older brother were normal, they came with us when the pack drove the silver-tongues out. We were scared of course, but my brother's courage helped us not to fear being on our own. Just like that we were out alone in the big bad world, just my small family and I."

"We thought we were going to be okay, but that was a dead lie. Within three weeks both my parents were killed by natural disasters, my mother in a flood and my father in a plain's fire. That left just my brother and I. He was gone too soon enough though. Oh no, he didn't die; he abandoned me. My memory is foggy, but I think he said something about me being old enough to live on my own and that he needed to take on the world alone. I was furious at first, but I later forgave him when we met up by chance by a quick little stream. Sunset, my savior, came along though and she let me ride on her back for a while. Over months we were traveling to this place she called Brazil, 'a place of true beauty' she said. We sneaked onto musty ships and walked on for hours and hours without seeing a single being. Finally though, she announced we had made it to Brazil alive." Lalita's mouth was wide open as he whispered softly "You never told me the whole story." I glanced nervously at him, that was true, I never told him the whole thing. "Hey, you're not gonna hold that against me, are you?" I asked shakily. "Nah, let's run instead." He laughed, but it wasa wavering laugh. "I'll race you!" I screamed and we raced off into the night without a care in the world.

"Livin' with our headphones up
We got sound and that's enough
Nobody can touch us
And we run and we run and we run
Hey, hey we'll be young forever
We'll be young forever till forever stops"
"We can run through the night
Write our name up in the sky
Got the music on our side
Ain't no body gonna catch us!
Singin' hey, hey we'll be young forever
On the world forever and we'll never stop"

Reason you want it:
Angel is a beautiful donation, the fact only 3 colours were used is engaging. She is different to my usual adoption styles and types that is why I chose a new layout this round. The little wings make me squeel with delight. They are delicous. The art you've provided is amazing and I'd love to call it my own. Maybe the design is to 'posh' or 'high' for the story but thats what makes it different, makes it stand out. Another note on the story is; I dont mean it to offend anyone. I wanted to write a story about hardship life, please dont take it badly. I have been skimming the first page for a while now and as soon as I noticed her I pretty much screamed and woke my little sister. Normally I'd skimmed right through, nothing catching my eye. But when I saw her she was lodged in my brain and now I need her. Need. Her. She is the perfect model for my other story, horizen. I do own a character thread, in which she will have her own profile. I knew and now know I should've gone for her the second I saw her. I will love the little critter. To death will we part. I so want this wolf, I am up to friendly competition but now im scared. I must have her! I know I will probably not get her, being that the other forms are better. But at least I tried
Personality
Always seeing the worst of life, Angel lived at the bottom of the line and yet she held her head as high as she could and marched onward. She has outstanding courage, never-ending hope and a heart with no lover. However, she has learned to be strong and agressive and her bad voice tone may come out when not needed. You should not be alarmed, instead, sorry for all of humans she has learned is terror, horror, death and terror. She is of the bold, adventurous type.

according to this webpage, Angel was born to a cruel world.Which is pretty much what she was. Angels lucky days are friday and saturday, she is an aquarius/capricorn and has traits from both signs, her elements are earth and air. Born under saturn as a goat, her stone is garnet. Born under Uranus as a water bearer.
|
Back to personality, Angel is a tough-lover. She will easily loose her temper but over the past weeks she has learned to keep that under control. She is usually found beating her self-set records for first to climb up mountain sides. To us humans pulling carts for 23 hours a day is havoc to her it is normal. She answers questions in full giving as much detail as she can. Many call her a tell tail Tw*t becuase her always telling everything. Angel would love to have a diary, though paper where she lives is rare and Angel never learned to write, only read. read instructions, that usually contained physical labour.
|
Angel is not very sociable since most of her previous friends died from hardwork or sexual abuse.
|
Angel has learned the ways of life and looks up to the future for guidance. She wants the rest of her life to be peace-full, love and wishes to have her own grandchildren run in the fields of her territory. Many say she'd make a good leader Angel disagrees and says ruling is not in her blood.
History
"Pull! Harder" Screamed the red-faced man who leaned over Angels sweating body, he lashed and thrashed her with his taunting rope starting the sores on Angels back. She was allergic, annoyingly, to rope. Angel felt like screaming in agorny as she pulled harder and harder. Her legs wouldnt fail yet but it was only a matter of time. She pictured her and Ivy huggled on what rag of a blanket they had licking happily together the drops of mucky river water that trickled from their masters water carriers. They'd share the shrivellled, old, field mouse that had been fed pretty much next to nothing. Then they'd settle down and lick the dirt of their pelts, it didnt exactly matter since every day they became dirty and sweaty with work. Angel had imagined splashing through rivers darting fish past her leg and the chilling sensation of a wave over her back. Angel shivered, she'd had this dream so much with Ivy. Each time she'd wake and roll over with her buddy. She'd lick her nose, still convinced that the wet trickle of river water would slip onto her tongue. All she could taste was dirt, her nose had already caught a disease and large round patches found there way there. She turned over and kicked up some dust that re-landed on her muzzle. Angel was awoken from her flash-backs, there she was back in the dusty crop-filled fields. She leaned forward, tugging the cart over hills. She screamed off again; pain flitting through her body. Angel tugged into the market town.
|
"How was your day?" Ivy warmed as Angel trotted into the 'den'. It was peiced together using scraps of metal.
"Great. Just more tugging. My legs are sure to collapse soon." Angel sighed and plumped onto the bed.
"Oh. Good for you, I just sat in a small dark room with a few.."Ivy growled
Angel knew the next word.
"Boys" She rolled her eyes, "Why are YOU the one who gets to stay inside."
Ivy ignored the question.
"And."
"Dont tell me, your pregnant."
"Um yeah."
"The usual"
Both girls laughed. The joy was cut off by a pitiful scream.
"who?" Angel questioned.
"Silver" Ivy murmered.
"How?"
"clawed through the throat"
"Why?"
"Collapsed on the way to the market"
Angel sighed, she'd collapse soon. Angel found it easy to imagine her limp body bleeding, slowly, painfully until she was a shrivelled mass of dead fur and bone. She shrieked. That couldnt happen.
|
Angel awoke to the pathetic screeches of a pale girl. She leaned over Ivys whimpering body and smacked. Ivy let out cries of pain as blood trickled from the hurts. Angel leapt at the woman but was thrushed back, she smashed into the walls and fell limply onto the floor. Through her unconsciousness she could hear the pitiful whimpers and barks from Ivy. Would she die to, the way silver did?
|
She rushed up few hours later. Ivy wasnt in the room any more and it was pitch black. Something brushed past her backlegs.
"Who-Whos there?" Angel whimpered.
"Well hello little miss" Chuckled a voice, "Your takin' over for Ivy darlin' love"
"I-Ivy" Angel stammered, was this what Ivy went through.
Something, the male, knocked her over so her stomach was up and she was lying on her back. Angel laid there in darkness. Stiff and aware; she followed scents of the other animal.
"Lets play some games" He laughed.
Angel didnt reply.
"Oh- the silent treatment, eh?"
Angel didnt reply.
"Come on you stupid b*t*h"
Angel whimpered as the male lay his body next to hers.
"G-games" She stammered
"Yeah"
"umm..ok"
"Now,good gir' "
The male rolled over and jumped on top of Angel.

Screaming for air Angel pulled herself out of the tangeled mass of female dogs.
"This is where all pregnant females go" A girl below her explained, her belly was starting to swell like many others in the pile she sat in.
"oh.Thats a lot."
"Im Dew by the way." Dew wriggled from the pile and leapt on the hay that surrounded the mass.
Angel followed, it wasnt as easy as before since a small bundle was forming in her stomach. She groaned realising the pain.
"Ya get used to it.This has been my 'job' for 8 years now. Same for sinc, reed and Ivy."
Ivy!
"But Ivy has been taken"
Angel signalled for Dew to continue.
"She is not dead, faint however yes. Some say she'll be workin' again in a few days."
Angel sighed in relied as Dew explained. She hadnt lost her best friend..yet.
The withering mass of female dogs began to move as more were piled on like trash.Angel looked up as the few that were not unconscius exclaimed questions like where are we?What happened? Angel smiled sympathetically. Poor girls. This was horrible, thousands of pregnant females crowded round her. A hot, sweaty man came barging through knocking all females who didnt have a lump. He stared at Angel for a few seconds before leaving her be. He turned to Dew and put a red clip in her ear.
"Whats that?" Angel asked.
"They put it on females who are nearly ready for the next stage"
"Next..stage?"
"Look" Dew nodded toward another pile, it was small but the females had a lump in their stomachs. Angel looked accross to an even smaller pile of heavily pregnants. A few were having their legs chained. A young girl with shiny black hair led them out of the barn and they disappeared round the corner.
"They are due to give birth today" Dew explained.
The man who had clipped dews ear pinched a few squeeling females and shoved them, anything but carefully, into a large woven sack. He walked to 'stage 2' and tipped the bag onto the pile. Angel heared squeels from inside. Thus began Angels time in the breeding barn.
|
It was hot and Angel was sweaty, she was stuck under more furry mass. It had been 2 days since her encounter with Dew and now they were friends. Ivy was meant to be coming back today and Angel was eagerly awaiting her return. Sighing, she turned to look away from the barn door and flicked her eyes up to dew. dew was always happy, even through all that...stuff she goes through. Angel wished she'd have courage like that. Courage to go on when the world is collapsing around you. Like now.
"Are you okay?" Dew asked, her deep blue eyes staring into angels.
Angel nodded, though really tears were streaming her eyes. She walked off, her head low, leaving Dew in her happy world. Not daring to turn back, Angel walked through the masses of female dogs. Another 'catcher' was coming round and clipping dogs ears. Angel backed up as he towered over her, his face was red, like the others, and beads of sweat rolled down his rosy cheeks. Angel whimpered in the corner. He stared for few seconds before moving on. Angel wondered when he'd clip her ear. The pain she'd go through. 6 months and she'd be out. Six months. Six.
|
An autumn breeze was growing, summer would soon draw to a close. Ivy had not returned. Angel had been waiting, staring at the wooden doors that blocked her escape. But she had not returned. Dew had noticed Angels growing worry and tried to explain that Ivy must of escaped. She'd be in a better place, where rats did not feed on your fur and your skin was not sore from 'the lash' and where food was easy to get hold of. Angel smiled, but really she wasnt smiling. She had know Dew all the time she'd been at this horror place. From when she was five years old until now, 17 years. Before you begin, her mum did not dump her. Nor would she ever think of doing such a thing. No, her mum simply could not look after her. They lived in a backstreet full of rats which they ate. Until one day a dumpster truck came down to take the rubbish (like it usually does) Angels mother threw her with tearful eyes. She never wanted Angel to be here, she wanted angel in a happier place. She didnt know this is where Angel would turn up! Anyway, Angel stayed on the dump for a few weeks before she was found and dumped here. This is worse, Angel thought as she kicked up the dirt behind her.
|
Angels ear was hurting. The man had clipped it. Dew had moved on into a different room, her pups would be born in under a month. Dew's belly was bigger than her! It was swolled. Angel looked down at her own, a lump had formed but not that big. She had another 4 months to go. It was autumn and the seasons were passing. Leaves often blew in and treese began to look bare. Angel knew Ivy would not return.
