I take a slow step forward the second piece of meat in my hand. If the wolf wanted it she would have to come up to me to get the food. I slowly lowered myself down onto my knees. "Come here sweetie." I called quietly.

The wolf poked its head out of the bush. She creeped forward until she was just out of your reach.

I lower the meat to the ground still gripping it in my hand. Then I set my other hand on the ground so she could sniff it if she wanted. "It's ok I'm not going to hurt you." I whisper.

The wolf darted forward and grabbed the meat from your hand. She stood at the same spot, just out of reach and watched you as she ate the meat.

I decide not to use the rope. I leave my hand on the ground. "Come here girl. I promise I won't hurt you." I said softly hoping she trusted me.

The wolf watched you. She stood on edge, but she wasn't running away yet. Be careful not to scare her off but don't be a waste of her time.

I move a little closer, though I do this slowly as not to startle the wolf. I reach out my had until it was in front of her muzzle. I did this slowly not wanting to scare the wolf. Then I let my hand go limp. She could sniff it if she wanted.

The wolf sniffed your hand. She walked over to you and nuzzled your face.

If I go hunting again and bring her will she always be mine or will she run back away with the rest of the wolf pack?

She will be yours unless you release her or give her a reason to run away, which is very unlikely. I don't think they can be killed, but that it up to Pete.
