Name You'd Choose for It: Maybelle [A beautiful name- I love it]
Gender: Female
Species: Brittany.
Reason You Want It: The moment Trix donated her, I fell in love <3 There's something about Maybelle, that really connects with me. She's beautiful, and I'd love to have her. She'd be cherished, with her own thread and art ordered daily. I can't tell you how much I love her, words can't describe! She's amazing- totally amazing.

History/Background/Other:

--Note, Andromeda is a character of mine, and also a pet on CS. You can see her Here.

With a groan, Maybelle rolled over onto her back, breathing out a half-growl, half-sigh. Yet again she suffered through another sleepless night, and now she was bordering on the edge of insanity. Well, at least more so than usual. She frowned at the strange thought. Had there ever been a time where she had been truly sane? Perhaps even from the moment of conception she was forsaken to living a life such as this.

Rolling back onto her stomach, she looked forward into the dry, dreary night that surrounded her. Tendrils of light were beginning to grab into the darkness as the sun battled the moon for rightful owner of the sky. This wasn't the first night--or series of nights, for that matter--that her dreams had stolen any hope of rest from her. There had been plenty of night where the night-terrors overtook her, many of those filled by the same exact dream. Her sister, Andromeda, calling out her name repeatedly, and right before she could cross the great expanse to reach her, a great dark beast would swell up and swallow her whole. The beast would then settle into a mortal-sized being. And the being was always her, or what she had become, that was. A wry smile was permanently fixed on Maybelle's face, eyes not their typical bright, but blood red, and burning.

It was a short dream but it always stopped her from falling back asleep, for as soon as she fell back asleep it started again. Lately, though, it had taken on an odd twist. It played forward to the part where she would be staring into the other Maybelle's face, but after perhaps 30 seconds a look of pure pain would contort that face. An odd sound of agony would emit, followed immediately by a blast of blinding pure white light that obliterated this Maybelle. The first few nights that was as far as she got in the dream, not knowing who or what had destroyed the monster. Then a few nights later, she would catch a glimpse of a figure standing in the light before waking, and only this night had this mysterious being revealed itself. Stepping from out of the blast of light came the canine she had always loved, Andromeda, yet the one she must always forget.
She sat in silence, watching the sun climb higher, breathing slowly as to bring her racing heart back to a normal rate. Once accomplished, she allowed his mind to take her heart's place as it ran through ideas to come to a conclusion on the matter. She knew nothing of the girl, aside from that she was the only blood relative she had, still alive. She knew it as much as she.

But was it just that after all? She had closed the matter with no thought to it whatsoever, not wanting to contemplate it. Yet of course her mind was a demon all its own, stealing her sleep in order that she should find an answer. A pretty young dog, Andromeda was, perhaps not much younger than her. But what did that matter; on her travels to become herself again, she had played upon the hearts of plenty of lads, but none were family, they believing she loved them all before she either left or been chased another, stronger, more naive tail. Several times this landed her a one-way ticket right out of whatever group she had settled by, for she disturbed the males and aroused jealousy in the females.

So no, her relationships were not it. And she knew almost nothing of her personality, besides that she could be quite the spitfire. Then what the world was it about her that caused her to spend so many times with bloodshot eyes and a sluggish gait, wondering what became of her little sister? Frustrated, she stood then, groaning as her tired paws protested for rest, shaking the dust from her creamy pelt. She demanded answers so that she finally gain some peace. And the only way she would get those answers would be to find this princess. Perhaps even just seeing her would give her some sort of answer. In the early hours of sun, Maybelle ran towards the border of the small territory she had claimed for her own. She zig-zagged through the lands, catching scents where she could.
Maybelle stopped short of it, looking forward at the plains that laid at the feet of the grand mountains. She knew well that crossing this border could bring her death for the scent that she carried upon, but it had a long time since she had cared about any set of rules. What mattered to her was what she wanted at that moment, and nothing was going to stand in her way. Besides, she'd sweet-talked her way out of plenty of worse situations. She would manage. So she could take those first steps forward without a second thought, legs pumping as she trespassed full-force into enemy territory.
~~~~
"Pain is weakness leaving the body." Andromeda muttered to herself. Her body radiated with pangs of hunger, her acid churning in the deepest corner of her stomach. She could feel the acrid taste on the back of her tongue as her stomach threatened to drown out noise of the surroundings. It was night fall now, and she had watched the sun set, unaware that at its very rising a canine had set out in search of her. In her homelands she'd been "elevated" to the status of baby sitter. While she cared for her siblings, as was bred in her very nature to do so, she was more than tired of them.
Their own mother had abandoned them, taking up pack duty versus raising them. While the eldest, Solon, often accompanied her on her duties, that still left four other rambunctious youngsters in her care. To condemn a five month old pup to the confines of the dens was torture on their curious nature, and so made Andromeda's job as difficult as possible; she was responsible for knowing their whereabouts at every minute of every day. She was worn very thin, broken of her spirit by being forced into a role prematurely; she had not wanted chicks, not wanted to care for any other but herself, and not the weight of four other lives depended on her.
The lithe female continued along the open plains, trying in vain to keep her thoughts from running over pack matters. She did not want to think of Maybelle in such a precious moment of solitude, and so forced her thoughts on something else. Andromeda looked up to the night skies, searching the stars for faces of her ancestors... such a silly notion, talking to such far away things which were probably dead anyways. While the pack believed the sky held all of the souls of those long gone, Andromeda rejected such a notion...
...but the longer she stared, the more she felt a tangible pull in her heart. She stared at one star, glittering more brightly than those around it. The female wondered the soul's name, wondered if she knew it, or the ghost's past. But the longer she stared, the more the surrounding twinkles took shape. What was once a random array was now the stern face of her protector. She slowed to a stop and looked at the face... he had saved her, but why? Maybelle, that was her name, she thought. In her dreams, the few she had, she had seen her, watched her from afar. She had always called out, a lonely howl echoing, asking for the end of a searing pain, and after reaching her there was a burst of white light... then she woke up.
What was there to it, this dream? Could she not even help even this strange female? Andromeda again growled, shaking away the stars, and sprinting through the grasses. Her amber eyes shut as she ran blind, feeling the long blades pass with her forelegs... but as her claws clacked against hard stone, she slowed, stopping yet again. From ontop of the rock a wind rushed past, ruffling her patched pelt; it was one of those warm, balmy summer breezes, the kind which cooled one to just the right temperature. The sweet blossoms of the mountain flora mingled with the scent, and the crisp, icy waters could almost be tasted on the air.
It was such a perfect night, one of the countless in this paradise... and it seemed Andromeda's eternal curse to share it with not a soul. But to all the surrounding crickets and birds, she raised her face to the heavens and released her lonely song.
~~~
The steady rhythm of her paws against the dirt was the heartbeat of the land in that moment. Muscles moving like a well-oiled machine, Maybelle soon put the wastelands behind her, soon feeling the brush of a breeze underneath her stomach. When flying, Maybelle could forget. She could forget everything. Yet what respect had she for life anymore? More of a contempt for it. She had learned that it could be taken just as easily as it could be created. Speaking of creation... The wind that swam through and around her body--another sensation she was ill-accustomed to now, for the air was always so still--carried a myriad of scents towards her, some from far away and others closer by. The smell of pups was the most intoxicating, as it came from several different directions, as was to be expected.

The irony seemed to pile onto this situation. While the presence of pups shouldn't have bothered her so, with thoughts of Andromeda so prevalent in her mind lately, it drove a stake into the angry wound where her heart should be. So often she remembered her speaking of pups and her deserve to have her own one day. They were still but pups themselves back then, and yet she spoke with such passion about them. Maybelle couldn't have cared less about pups or a family, after what had happened to her own. But for Andromeda, she would've done just about anything.

Maybelle hadn't even noticed night begin to fall above her, and as the stars lit up the sky, she hung his head back to take them in. She had become so malicious, so cold, sometimes it even shocked her what she had turned into, what life had forced her to be. Yet if there was one well-meant wish she had left, it would be that Andromeda was not there among those stars, that even with what she had done to her she had been able to go on with her life and fulfil that wish of having a family. She deserved an untainted life, which she had already ruined her hopes of having, but perhaps it could continue happily past that point
On many of her sleepless nights, she had searched the stars for answers, believing for a time, as many dogs did, that one's dead ancestors resided among the stars. She had soon found the practice to be ludicrous. She had always been left just as lost as before, if not more so. And what answers could his ancestors give her anyway? Maybelle knew very little of them, but from the information she had, they were no better than her. The cream coated canine growled to the sky, even if there was no one to answer back. There was never anyone to listen to her frustrations anyways. She was always alone, and always would be.
She was about to turn away from the heavens when a movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. A shooting star trailed across the sky, pulling Maybelle's attention with it as it disrupted the tranquility of the aerial landscape. The phenomena only last seconds but left behind its disappearance was an image outlined by its still brethren. Maybelle scrutinized it carefully.
A song interrupted this pour of outrage. The sound was exquisite, pulling at her heartstrings towards its source. Once again the wind wafted scents towards her, and one so familiar floated to his nostrils. She had found her. Her body returned to motion, following the musical notes to where they first made birth, finding the dog which shared her blood and heart standing like a beacon in the night." Out alone once again, I see." Maybelle forced herself to remain causal.
~~~~
How long she sung her tune the dog could not definitively answer, but what she did know is that her howl echoed long after she had stopped singing. Her blue eyes looked across the dark plains, watching as the grasses bent under gentle summer breezes. It seemed that with her cry left her despair, disappaiting on the wind somewhere, along with the sound. Now she stood under the starlight, looking at everything almost as clearly as if it was day. The moon was full in the sky, illuminating the dark with a soft, opalescent glow; everything seemed a shade of blue, a fuzzy, milky hue surrounding every edge. And here in the mountains... it was as if you could leap of the highest of the mountain’s peak and sink your beak into the moon itself.
”Out alone once again I see. The voice was smooth, charming even, and nothing like the bitter tone of their parting. She drew closer, and she stared down at him from her boulder, blinking, trying to make sure this wasn't a trick of her mind. Maybelle’s form did not waiver or blur, the blood which coursed through her veins was as real as that which pumped through hers... and how fast her heart was now beating. She looked into the face of her wildest dreams. .
And like star crossed lovers the two now stood, not knowing of the irony in their meeting. Though neither was a Montague or Capulet, the stakes were just as great and so the rewards well worth it. She thought she was charming, and while the flutter of pulse indicated this was true, Andromeda made sure her countence revealed nothing. With a coy elegance, the younger female leapt from the great stone, meeting the ground with a soft thud. She stepped forward, coming close enough to the if either so desired, a single lunge would allow them to seize the other's throat.
At this proximity, one was either extremely confident or extremely foolish, and it was not apparent to Andromeda which one was exactly which. She responded with a casual air, but kept a certain regal coolness to her tone. "I am not alone, for I have the stars, do I not?" She smirked, a playful smile gracing her muzzle. Andromeda circled around Maybelle, tail swishing against her body. Drawing up alongside her, she brushed against her shoulder before walking off a ways, calling over her shoulder dismissively. "Why have you come, sister?" Despite her bold words, tears burned in her eyes.
Actually, Andromeda wasn't even sure Maybelle could win against her wishes, she could probably persuade her to leave. She could lie, and say she despised her. Resting against the stone, neck stretched out, her hackles bristling with mad desire to hold her sister to her, and pain, she stared into those smouldering eyes. Maybelle swallowed hard, trying desperately to numb the burning pain radiating from her throat. And just as quickly as she glanced toward Andromeda, her wide eyes turned their gaze elsewhere, as she lengthened her strides, displaying the full height of her body as it softly glowed under the moonlight. She was taller than Andromeda, much like comparing an antelope to a munctjac. It was not that Andromeda was stout, but her sister was much, much taller.
Andromeda watched her go. Something inside her chest tore into shreds, like a ravaged beast wanting its own end more than survival itself. Her eyes widened, the expanse of pupil concealing her irises in a declaration of her terror. Andromeda began choking. “No...No Maybelle, don’t walk away from me!” She lunged forwards after her, using her anger to her advantage.
Andromeda snatched her flank with her muzzle, leaving a furious red welt.
The grey and cream marbled canine began to growl, a threatening rumble from deep in her throat, merely fed by the pain in her heart. “Who do you think you are?” She hissed, leaping away from her with a graceful competence. Her tail flicked with the cool irritance of an angry feline. Her flaming eyes bore into the younger, their souls so close that they may well have been touching; despite the barrier of hate and betrayal that danced between them. Andromeda prowled forwards. “I’m you...” She stated, a desperate softness overtaking her voice, something that would’ve melted Maybelle a few years ago. Not now.
“You are nothing like me!” Maybelle shrieked, her normally smooth vocals cracking in sheer agony. “I used to know you, I used to love you- you were my sister.” She was sobbing now, and Andromeda clenched the dirt beneath her in her paws.
Maybelle turned.
”Maybelle, please. We can put the past behind us. Just trust me.” Andromeda pleaded, her tail pressed to her hindlegs. Maybelle softened; one revolutionary moment, and the long lost sisters were clutching each other, sobbing and howling the grief of their departure, so many years ago.
Name You'd Choose for It: Yutu (means Coyote out hunting in Miwok indian)
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: Great design and as a charrie and fursona.
History/Background/Other: Yutu was part of the Miwok indian tribe. She lived in a human form with her family, until one day danger showed up upon the mountains. The strongest wolves and men were sent to fight. Little did anyone know, but Yutu was able to shift from human to wolf and back again. She shifted behind one of the grass homes, and came charging out for battle. Many times, she had fought against opposing forces, but this time would be different. Her spirit sang with excitment and anticipation. Men hollared their battle cries and among the rest of the wolves, Yutu howled. The battle was smoothe and nearly flawless with few lives lost and minimal injuries. As they walked home from their ominous win, Yutu crouched behind a tree, in order to shift. A storm had rolled through just as the battle was ending, and suddenly, the first strike of lightning lit the earth, and right in its path was young Yutu. As the electricity danced through her system, she convulsed, changing from K-9 to human and back again rapidly. When it finally wore off, she found herself still in her mighty wolf body. Something was wrong. Yutu could no longer shift into her human form anymore. Sure, she could shift into nearly anything else, but always came back to her wolf body. What used to be a long tan coat was now decorated with electric blue and smokey grey. Perhaps these marks were to remind her of the story that began her new life. Whatever it was Yutu could not run back to her family, instead she retreated to the forest, living among other wolves and creatures.
For some the soul of a character can resonate deep within the soul, and shine through only when they have found the perfect one. It is a question of what you should do when you do find they character, that say I'm the one you where looking for. Should you go for it or should you wait and see? Should you just go for you dream and see how far it take you? I believe if you truly want something you should go for it arm opened wide, and embrace your fate.
I saw her an it was an instant click immediately, I had never had a pure Wild Dog character thus never had a chance to write about one, It should be an interesting experience. Her colors are entrancing, pale markings made better by paler base fur. Her accessories are plain yet stunning at the same time. She appears perfect to me and even now words are poping into my head on how to write her story. Some of the ideas are magical some are not, their also comes some romantic Ideas as well which are inspired by my boyfriend.
Some character resound just outside of the area where they become close to you. But for me Beauty resounded in a place close to my heart and mind. She made me think when I saw her, at first I wasn't sure but I kept having to peak at her and soon I found myself starting her form early in hopes to get my story finished on time.
She is quite remarkable to me, and I hope to show her pure heart and selfless love when it comes to others. I hope to make her a main character in my Serans story although the story here will be different. I hope my form shows how much I truely love her and am inspired by her. Im hoping in this it will help be flesh out a story more, and brainstrom better characters should i think i need more though I very much doubt I will. This will help the story become realer and I hope reading it will be a good experience as well.
I more then likely will attempt to find a role play partner to roleplay her with, and a mate if i can find her one. She has already inspired me to draw her and should i get her I will finish them and post them up. I already have her human self in mind and hope I will get her to I can make my dream a reality. If i do get her i be ordering art of her human self soon.
To me shes a pure soul and that among the above reasons are why I want her and would love to get her. To me I think it is a match made in heaven but I really should be getting to the form part, so if you read this thank you for taking the time and I hope you enjoy the rest of my form.
Conservation status
Image
Endangered (IUCN 3.1)[1]
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Canidae
Genus: Lycaon Brookes, 1827
Species: L. pictus
The scientific name "Lycaon pictus" is derived from the Greek for "wolf" and the Latin for "painted". It is the only canid species to lack dewclaws on the forelimbs.
In packs, there are separate male and female hierarchies that will split up if either of the alphas die. In the female group, the oldest will have alpha status over the others, so a mother will retain her alpha status over her daughters. For the males, in contrast the youngest male or the father of the other males will be dominant. When two such loner separate-gender groups meet, if unrelated they can form a pack together. Dominance is established without blood-shed, as most dogs within a group tend to be related to one another in some way, and when this is not the case they have a submission-based hierarchy, instead of a dominance based one. Submission and nonaggression is emphasized heavily, even over food they will beg energetically instead of fight. This is likely because of their manner of raising huge litters of dependent pups, so if one individual is injured the entire pack would not be able to provide as much
The African Wild Dog hunts in packs. Like most members of the dog family, it is a cursorial hunter, meaning that it pursues its prey in a long, open chase. Nearly 80% of all wild dog hunts end in a kill; for comparison, the success rate of lions, often viewed as ultimate predators, is only 30%. Schaller found that 9 of 10 wild dog hunts in the Serengeti ended in kills.[11] Members of a pack vocalize to help coordinate their movements. Its voice is characterized by an unusual chirping or squeaking sound, similar to a bird. Wild dogs frequently kill larger prey via disemboweling, a technique that is rapid but has caused this species to have a negative, ferocious reputation. Even some early wildlife conservationists, such as Carl Akeley[12] delighted in killing entire wild dog packs.
After a successful hunt hunters regurgitate meat for those that remained at the den during the hunt, such as the dominant female and the pups. They will also feed other pack members, such as the sick, injured, the very old that cannot keep up, or those who stayed back to watch the pups.
The African Wild Dog is endangered by human overpopulation,[21] habitat loss and hunting. It uses very large territories (and so can persist only in large wildlife protected areas), and it is strongly affected by competition with larger carnivores that rely on the same prey base, particularly the lion and the Spotted Hyena. Lions often will kill as many wild dogs as they can but do not eat them. One on one the hyena is much more powerful than the Wild Dog but a large group of Wild Dogs can successfully chase off a small number of hyenas because of their teamwork. It is also killed by livestock herders and game hunters, though it is typically no more (perhaps less) persecuted than other carnivores that pose more threat to livestock. Most of Africa's national parks are too small for a pack of wild dogs, so the packs expand to the unprotected areas, which tend to be ranch or farm land. Ranchers and farmers protect their domestic animals by killing the wild dogs. Like other carnivores, the African Wild Dog is sometimes affected by outbreaks of viral diseases such as rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. Although these diseases are not more pathogenic or virulent for wild dogs, the small size of most wild dog populations makes them vulnerable to local extinction due to diseases or other problems.
Sources of below: http://www.arkive.org/african-wild-dog/lycaon-pictus
The African wild dog inhabits a range of habitats, including the plains, semi-desert, bushy savannah, woodlands and upland forest (2).
African wild dogs are highly sociable and exhibit a very unusual social system; within their packs, dogs of the same sex are closely related to each other but not to individuals of the opposite sex, and only the dominant male and female will breed (4) (5) (6). Packs vary in size from 2 to 27 individuals and new packs are formed when subgroups of the same sex (usually siblings) disperse and join up with a subgroup of the opposite sex (5), leading to the unusual configuration of the pack. Only the dominant female will give birth to pups, and births may take place throughout the year, although they are more common between March and June (2).
A sad fact is that at a certain stage in time, wild dogs were seen as brutal animals in the way that they hunted and how could such a cruel animal be left to live?, resulting in may of them being destroyed.
History:
Born on the Savanna her life has not been very easy, everything she has gained she has had to fight for. She has had to fight for food shelter and life, but she feels it was all worth it in the end. Her pack had been huge, she had been the alpha female. But then they came. The rival pack apposed them and everyone was killed in an instant.
Beauty got a second chance at life though, a rare chance but it was a chance and she accepted. She became a shaman, but in return she lost her pack and her mate. This saddened her greatly for she had loved her mate, he had been everything to her but she knew life had to go on and maybe one day they would meet again.
She could only hope.
She wandered into the untouched land and the magical oasis that was now inhabited by what soon would be her pack and friends. She met up with them and all was good for awhile the the Cinn logg came and she was fourced to use her powers. The Cinn Logg she killed broke her heart, because it was her mate.
After that she was never the same, but she vowed not to give up. She would live on, and she would vanquish the monsters that had killed and controlled her mate. She vowed this on her life.
My Last Breath - Inspired by the Evanesence Song
The attack had been sudden and unexpected, our pack didn't have a chance to react, so we relied on instinct. It wasn't long before our ranks started falling. The other pack didn't care they even went after pups. They had no mercy on us and soon only my love was left standing. His wounds were major and I knew like myself he wasn't long for this world. He crawled over to me and I saw in his eyes he knew we where both dying.
Hold on to me love
you know i can't stay long
all i wanted to say was, "I love you and I'm not afraid"
can you hear me?
can you feel me in your arms?
He laid his head on my side, as my eyes started to drift closed. I forced them to reopen, I wasn't ready to go yet. I wanted more time with him before I died. I knew we would meet again wherever we go after we died but for now I wanted what time I had left with him. I knew If I feel asleep now I wouldn't wake up so for now I'd stay away as long as I could.
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
I would miss the winter time spent traveling to find herd of our favorite food, and spring when the pups came. The cute pups they always looked so fragile when first born. I looked up into my mates eyes, 'I love you.' I whispered, feeling his tear hitting my coat. I would miss him most of all.
i'll miss the winter
a world of fragile things
look for me in the white forest
hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
i know you hear me
i can taste it in your tears
I could feel death starting to take hold of me and I struggled to fight it I didn't wanna die yet. If I did he would have to die alone and that what made me dispair the most. The thought of him dieing alone with noone alive to be with him, gave me the strength to fight deaths grip. At time I wonder if I hadn't would things be different. No matter what happen both of our present lives would end tonight.
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
His eyes closed one last time as he stopped breathing, his head was on my side so I couldn't move in my current condition. 'So this is the end of our pack,' I thought. 'Maybe one day we will all meet again.' With nothing else to hold me back I slowly let my soul slip away.
Closing your eyes to disappear,
You pray your dreams will leave you here;
But still you wake and know the truth,
No one is there...
'Goodbye' I thought, 'Shall we meet again one day.'
Say goodnight,
Don't be afraid,
Calling me, Calling me as you fade to black.
My world then faded to black.....
(Say goodnight) Holding my last breath
(Don't be afraid) Safe inside myself
(Calling me, calling me) Are all my thoughts of you?
Sweet raptured life, it ends here tonight
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
(Holding my last breath)
Main Story:
Saoire na ballaí do Soul
teacht ar chúis go breá arís
(Leave the walls of your soul
find the will to fight
find a reason to love again)- Lirrie
Life on the savanah is not easy, there is life and death. That was the way it was for me till I traveled here. My pack had been killed by a rival pack and I wa now on my own. I had been chosen, and though I didn't know it then it would change my life forever.
A month Later......
My paw thudded the ground as I ran towards the fight I could hear ahead, I only hoped that none of my pack members hadn't been killed by the Cinn Logg. I wouldn't know till I got there though so I quickened me pace. I came to the edge of the fray and saw to my relief that noone had been killed. Their had been some injuries however, Inari was off to the side on her side trying hard not to move lest she open her wounds wider. Seran was standing in front of her protecting her from the Cin Logg trying to get to her. Emilia and ara stood back to back defending each other and fighting off the Cinn Logg together. I did not see Cupid but I knew he was around here somewhere.
I took my place off to the side preparing to use the power Celestial had gifted all shaman with. The power to defeat these lost souls and send them where they belonged. I began my chant loud and clear:
Oh anamacha Chaill
as an réimse
ó thar
ar ais ó áit a bhfuil tú ag teacht
gan stró as an grip
d'olc agus ateacht ar ar an bhaile cosán
Beidh mé luaidhe tú
Beidh mé in ann tú ann
Dá bhrí sin ná éadóchas
Déanfaidh an olc saoire
agus dea-Shine trí
má dhéanann tú mar a deirim libh a dhéanamh
All the Cinn Logg turned to look at me, hatred burning in their eyes. This was the most dangerous part of my position and I only hoped each time I did it it wouldn't cause my death. While saying this chant I had to stay completely still or it was possible my own soul could be sucked into wherever the souls go when I released them too.
Anois éist
agus a dhéanamh mar a rá liom
teacht ar do chroí istigh
iarracht chun éisteacht le lá atá inniu ann
má dhéanann tú beidh tú a fheiceáil
an áit a bhfuil tú i gceist a bheith
As I finished the chant the Cinn Logg there collapsed, their souls finally at piece they could move to the other side. The jewelry that I wore stopped glowing and I sat down exhausted. Channel that much energy was hard on the body but one got used to it when they were in my profession. Not that I had heard of many shamans, for some great reason Shamans where rare, and sometime soul Gaurdians never came arcross one.
My pack was lucky, they had found Me.
Translation to the chant:
Oh lost souls
from the realm
from beyond
return from where you have come
ease from the grip
of evil and find the path home
I will lead you
I will take you there
so please don't dispair
The evil shall leave
and good shall shine through
if you do as I tell you to do
Now listen
and do as I say
find your heart inside
try to listen to it today
if you do you shall see
the place you are meant to be
I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
Bheadh sé mo onóir agus áthas a bheith freagrach as a leithéid de charachtair lovable agus álainn.
It would be my honor and joy to be responsible for such a lovable and beautiful character.
Must... resist... Inari... 0_o
Why do you make it so hard for me, Tripp?! XO Why do you play on my newfound love of Japanese and my old mythology obsession with that gorgeous design/donation? :lol:
I will probably be attempting for him now. X_X
