I think that the hooves are absolutely darling ! But I do think the chest was good as it was.

i also agree about the chest! the newer lines are a bit neater otherwise, and the addition of hooves give an option for the feet to pop out more against the rest of the body depending on color schemes which is pretty neat~

Both bases look great! But I definitely like the new one more, those little changes make it look juuust that bit better ^-^ I also second Queenie everything else about the new base is great though!

Alright!!! I’m really glad that these answers are so definitive! In that case, I’ll change the chest back to the old version, and keep everything else. All taudipps will use the new and improved base from now on! All old-base taudipps will remain the same on the masterlist, so everyone can see the progression of the species.

A couple follow-up questions:

1. Do you guys think I need to make any changes to the anatomy of the back legs? They’re not very realistic at the moment, but I don’t know what I could change specifically about them.

2. Should I add a potion to the shop that allows you to optionally update your old-base taudipps to the new base? There would be a fee though… don’t know how much.

tbh I like the back legs the way they are. Even if they're not realistic, they're very cute and fit the species well. c:
As for the second question, I think it would be a neat idea! Even if the changes are minimal, some people might prefer the changes over the original. And it's totally fair to charge a fee!

for the first- i enkoy the backlegs as is, but if you wanted to change them, then maybe scoot the lower parts back a tad? i can make an art example for this if need be, to show better what i mean for this one, but all in all the legs are pretty good as they are!

I think I know what you mean! I decided to go ahead and try it out. :) Yeah, even though the new base has more realistic hooves by default, I might still remove them every now and then depending on the design. The old hooves were inspired by the simplicity of old MLP hooves, and in a way, I still kinda like that too! ^^



I only moved them back a tad, and I also made one of them slightly longer as an experiment… but anyways, I’d like to know what everyone thinks again (sorry guys, haha)! Do you like the new legs better or the old legs better? Or do you see anything I could further change? Once again, for anyone who doesn’t already know, these are not free bases.
