The Whole Kit and Kaboodle will be on hiatus until further notice!

As stated in my last Big News post, I'm going to have my hands full with school finals, redoing all of the kreature links, sending out updated kreature links to owners, and fixing the Archive. I've discovered that I'm going to have to Save As all of the kreatures to my computer again, because imageshack doesn't have a Bulk Uploader that switches URL links into imageshack images. The Bulk Uploader will allow me to upload entire litters all at once, which will cut down my time nicely.

I will be going in alphabetical order when handing out the updated links, mostly because it'll be easier on me to do it that way. So everyone should be patient with me during this time. I'll be likely stressing myself out enough switching everything over to imageshack, so there's a chance I will be snappy if you ask questions that I've already answered previously in my Big News posts or when other people asked. So just bare with me here.

EDIT...HUGE PROBLEM: I just realized that many of the items in the shop have DISAPPEARED because of stupid iaza.com. Unfortunately, now I have NO idea what items people had. Custom Tokens, Breeding Tokens, and all Breeding Berries have disappeared. So, unfortunately, people are going to have to PM me with screenshots as proof of purchase/winning of those items. If you cannot prove it, I MAY just take your word for it what item(s) you had. I'm really, deeply sorry about this whole mess.
The above has been resolved! TheNightsIllusion suggested to me that I compare the urls of the deleted images in the store to the deleted images in the Bank to check what people lost. Thanks TNI for the suggestion! Now nobody will have to PM proof!

Other News

With the Easter event officially over, I'm going to finish any of the Easter Booth shopping that I didn't get to as well as convert any EEC people didn't spend into KKP. Seeing as the shop is closed until further notice, that means NOTHING is open - Kennel, Pound, Auctions, Breeding, Customs. I'd appreciate it if anybody with a free custom (who can ask for customs at any time, not just when customs are open) to please NOT ask me for a custom until the shop opens back up. Like I said, I'm going to be very busy.

I thought I'd go ahead and post this here to give everybody an idea of how far I'm gotten with fixing the link problem!

5/10/2011 - Unfortunately, I've been a bit busy lately with real life related stuff. So I haven't had a chance to really sit down and get to working on fixing the link problem, mostly because I've been pretty tired lately. I was able to get a little bit done tonight.

5/11/2011 - I have some time between classes today to get some things done! I might not be able to get anything done tonight, since I have homework and my boyfriend will be coming over.

5/12/2011 - I've decided that I'm going to create a separate thread for Breeding and Customs. There will be a special Breeding/Custom Shop in the new thread, which will sell only Breeding and Custom related items. Once this is done, I might add additional Breeding and Custom items that will do extra, fun things. Also, I'll have a special Breeding/Custom Bank that will hold only Breeding and Custom items bought by people. All current Breeding and Custom items people have will be switched over to the new Breeding and Custom thread once it is up.

By moving Breeding and Customs to its own thread, a bunch of space will open up here in this thread. That'll give me room to move things around. I'm thinking of making the Accessories part of the shop have its own post, and Kreature Komfort Homes have its own post. I really don't like the Freebies where they are right now, so I might be moving those to the Breeding and Custom section, where they'll get a post all to themselves. And, of course, all of that will only be done AFTER I finish with this code fiasco!

5/13/2011 - WHOA! I finished uploading ALL of the kreatures to imageshack and pasted the links into a word document. It's TWELVE pages long! That's a lot of kreatures!

Also, make sure to come back when The Whole Kit and Kaboodle finally opens again! There's going to be a nice surprise! And no, it's not the Breeding and Custom thread I already announced above!

I've started working on getting the Archive up to date with the new links. I should probably also add that I'm having some trouble with the animated Kit and Kaninchen litters that I did. Imageshack isn't keeping the movement when I upload it, so I might have to figure something out.

So far, I have:

[x] print screened the Owner Tracker in parts so that I see each person's group of kreatures (this is to help me remember who has what later on, when more pictures start disappearing from the Archive)

[x] re-uploaded pictures that disappeared from Kits Litters 1 - 10

[x] downloaded Kits Litters 1 - 10 back onto my laptop

[x] ALL litters (minus Guest Litters and Offspring) have been downloaded back onto my laptop

[X] download all of the Guest Litters to my laptop (I need to do this even if they aren't from iaza)

[X] download all the offspring litters to my laptop

[X] download all the custom kreatures to my laptop

[X] download all of the Freebies to my laptop

[X] download any kreatures that are up in the shop right now that haven't been downloaded yet (mostly leftover Easter ones)

[X] figured out what items people lost when the photos disappeared

[X] download all of the shop header/banners to my laptop

[x] re-upload missing Store items and then download all Store items (including accessories and kreature komfort home related stuff) to my laptop

[X] upload ALL of the litters (regular, guest, offspring, etc.) to imageshack and put them in a word document

Anything in italics is my most recent activity!

I still need to:

[ ] download all of the items in the Item Tracker

[ ] upload ALL shop banners to imageshack and save the links in a word document

[ ] upload ALL Store items (including accessories and kreature komfort home related stuff) to imageshack and save the links in a word document

[ ] PM new imageshack links to everyone

As you can see, I have A LOT to do!

What??? People I am on HIATUS. The shop is CLOSED. Ugh, whatever. I'll reserve them for you but I'm changing the title of the shop since people are obviously not understanding what hiatus means. Sorry if I sound snippy, but I have not been sleeping well and I'm really stressing about finals at my school. So, no more adoption requests will be accepted from now until I finish fixing the stupid code problem. And by the way, I have to reserve them later. I'm on my iPod right now. But I will fix the shop title now.

EDIT: I'm really sorry I sound so snippy above. D: Like I said, I haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately (combination of trouble falling asleep and crazy dream after crazy dream once I do fall asleep) and with finals coming up next week, I'm starting to stress really badly. Luckily I'm in a slightly better mood after taking a nap in the car on the way home, and I'll be able to get some work done to fix the code problem plaguing this shop.
