Sunrise of the morning sun, lead mare waits for everyone.
Blue eyes watching the butterfly dance,
as Farfalle doze in summer lax.
Legs dipped in dark chocolate and mane to match.
She waits for the morning to raise the world,
as birds wake and stars quake,
white splashes glowing in the sun.
Sabino sides, chocolate mane and butterfly.
The King takes a break and lets her watch.
Foals raise and whinny in hunger.
Mares launch to their feet and nicker for their young's attention.
Eyes of ice watch as they nurse, soon they would be off.
Time to fly is getting near,
not soon enough but all to soon.
And mothers nudge the foals; time to be done.
Sabino sides, chocolate mane and butterfly.
Whinny piercing the air, the herd is ready.
The sun is high, dancing as they prance.
Moving forward the cocoa mare nickers,
reasurring her herd that all will be okay.
As moments befall and the pace surges,
hooves vault into a graced gallop.
The herd is off, with the lead mare out front.

Permafrost eyes and butterfly,
terra-cotta mane and tail,
perfectly toasted sides.
