I pick up the seedling and hold it carefully in my hands, thinking about whether or not I want to take it...

You notice the mother mourning elm looked like this:

I watch the mother elm and kneel down, calling softly to her, offering the small seed out. Her cute grey snout pokes out, and I watch her as she glares up at me, unsure of what to do...

I look around and approach the trees to see if the angel elm is still where I left him and his wounded shoulder the other night. It must be my lucky day, no one else has captured him. <33 I step a little closer hoping that he'll remember me...

~the doctor~

The Elm follows the trail of fruits, slowly eating and picking at each one. She follows the trail until she notices the trap. She looks around for someone, someone was by....
She perked up her ears and chirped. She cautiously stepped away from the trap, she saw it, and knew it, she looked around, but couldn't find more fruit.
She hummed to herself and fresh grass grew with roses and tulips. She closed her eyes and enjoyed herself.

hint!: Maybe if you give this elm more fruit you could win a new friend!

I dig in my bag, and find some more fruit. I make a trail leading to me, snapping down the trap(showing the elm I'm not going to trap it anymore). I pick the empty trap up and break it. Then I sit down cross-legged, and hold out some fruit in my hand.

~The doctor~

The elm eats the trail leading towards you, and finds you. She looks up at your hand and sees the fruit, her eyes glimmer softy and she approaches, and nibbles a bit of the fruit from your hand, and before you know it, the fruit is gone. The elm purrs and rubs her head against the bag, knowing their is more fruit in there.
You have successfully captured an elm.

The angel looks up at you, and she remembers you, suddenly, and she just sits, dully, thinking of what to do.
She flaps her wings, and backs off a bit.

The mother turns back and sees her seedling, she sniffs it and rejects it and leaves.

"We could always put him in the pound, in hope of a new home," Blurrbee says and watches the mother dash off.

I sigh as the mother dashes off, and I walk over to Blurrbee. " Yeah, I think it'd be best for it to grow up with the pound adults... " I carefully place the seed in Blurrbee's hand, and sit back on the tree stump. Trickster yawns and stands, and nudges Dejvu before waddling over into the moonplant bush. He nibbles a leaf, and lays down, sighing heavily.
