Is This Your First War Wolf? yes, though I have bids for two war wolves, 061 and 060

If No, How Many Others Do You Own? none right now

Have You Read Everything? of course

Why Are You Interested In Owning This War Wolf? I really like this one's pattern. It looks like a painting of a bird perched on a branch against a gray canvas. I have always loved how dark gray and red go together (no I am not making that up) and I've used it in my own drawings. I think it's interesting that there would be a pretty clear image of a bird in an animal, even a war wolf. I imagine that the scientists might have done something to produce that... Or maybe it was completely natural.

Do You Have Plans For This War Wolf? Yes, I will write a story, maybe I'll post it here in the forums (with your permission of course, this is your idea) or link it in my signature and profile. I really like your storyline, and it would be interesting to write about this.

Do You Agree To Never Resell Or Rehome This War Wolf? Yes! I don't see why anyone would resell a war wolf.

Do You Swear To Give Back Ownership Rights To MaineiacJay If You Can No Longer Keep It? Yes! I solemnly swear.

About Your War Wolf

What Do You Plan To Name Your War Wolf? It will take much consideration and thought... Scarlet is a possibility. It sounds a little girly for a male war wolf though... Maybe he was originally named Scarlet but he felt as if it were too savage-sounding and feminine, so he renamed himself... Quinn? Maybe there's a really good name lurking in the back of my mind. I'll PM you if I can think of one, if that's okay with you.

Does He/She Have A Story? Yes. When he (still can't decide on a name) was created, the scientists were amazed with his patterns that were so reminiscent of a bird painted on a canvas. They got the idea to make war wolves with certain predetermined patterns, and they started testing him and other Unnaturals in an attempt to find if any genes or whatever correlated with certain designs or colors, and if they could use those things to recreate certain pelt patterns. They could not find anything related and the unnatural war wolves being tested were becoming exhausted and weakened from how many samples the scientists were taking, so they (the scientists) gave up. Now it is this war wolf's turn to find a good owner to love and protect. The scientists didn't really care for him or any of the war wolves (believing that the war wolves would form stronger bonds with their new owners if they were more aloof), so he is pleasantly surprised when his new owner to-be appears to genuinely care for him. His maybe owner (it's not official yet) is an orphan girl named Grace who had lost her parents when they drunkenly ventured up to the surface. She was pushed around and ridiculed by her peers in the bunker, but she was a smart girl who preferred to read and learn (she wanted to become a scientist herself, a nice one) than listen to the mean kids and try to warm up to them. Nevertheless, she longed for a friend, someone to confide her thoughts in, someone to love... And when she heard of this war wolf (he really needs a name... THINK BANANAMANDY THINK!!) she knew that he was the perfect companion for her. She is now going through lots of trouble to become his new owner. Note the present tense. This war wolf's story is far from done. I will write it whether or not I get this wolf, btw.

Does He/She Have Any Likes? Yes, he is eager to please and loves the pets and caresses he gets from Grace when she visits him at the lab (the scientists let people visit the war wolves being given away) He also likes solving hard problems, because nothing can beat the sense of accomplishment after hard work.

Does He/She Have Any Dislikes? Yes. He hates it when he does not have full control or feeling of his body, like if he is under a numbing or paralyzing syringe. If he was ever uncooperative when the scientists tried to take samples from him, they used a paralyzing syringe (harnesses didn't work, he's strong and crafty enough to get out of most things) Also, he doesn't really like fighting, he will try to stop fights and will attack or defend himself only when necessary. Later, he will defend Grace.

Do You Have Any Art Of This War Wolf? No

Is This Your First War Wolf?
No
If No, How Many Others Do You Own?
I actually managed to get one! :D
Have You Read Everything?
Yup, several times.
Why Are You Interested In Owning This War Wolf?
I have been looking for the perfect unnatural war wolf and this is him! I just adore his design. Red and black is by far my most favorite color scheme. He has a very interesting texture pattern that I just love. It almost looks like bark, and you can just almost feel what his fur feels like just by looking at it. His tree and raven design tell a story without saying words. Not to mention that I absolutely love ravens. As a bonus his design can be considered a halloween theme or just a darker theme. Which is nice because Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I like dark characters. So a summary, I adore his design, and he looks like a character right out of my imagination.
Do You Have Plans For This War Wolf?
Oh yeah. I would love to roleplay him if I have time. But mainly, I will use him as a character in several stories I plan to write, and as a major subject in a lot of my art. I think he would make a perfect little clay sculpture.
Do You Agree To Never Resell Or Rehome This War Wolf?
Of course!
Do You Swear To Give Back Ownership Rights To MaineiacJay If You Can No Longer Keep It?
Yup!

About Your War Wolf
What Do You Plan To Name Your War Wolf?
Noctis although I sometimes call him Nox. Everyone else calls him The Beast.
Does He/She Have A Story?
From day one, the scientists knew this war wolf was different. His pelt bore the markings of a raven calling into the night, while sitting upon a great dead tree. Every single scientist in the room had heard the fairy tale. In the early years when The Great War was just getting started, a fairy tale was created to keep the young children from going over the fences into the war zones. This was the story of The Beast. Once upon a time there was a naughty young boy who loved to play. His mama told him to never venture past the war gates, for on the other side lay a great evil. At first the young boy never dreamt of going past the gates, but as time went on, he became more and more curious of what lay beyond it. One night he decided to venture past the gates, but only for a little while. Before long, he found himself lost in the forest of dead trees. The only sign of life was a single raven calling out into the night. But then he heard rustling all around him. He was being hunted. Then he saw it. The Beast. It was a large canine like creature that bore the markings of this forest. The markings of a great dead tree with a single raven calling from it's branches. The Beast told the boy that if he did not return home before sunrise, he would never escape the forest. So the boy ran as hard as he could, with The Beast right on his heels. In the last moments before sunrise he found himself at the war gates again. He managed to escape The Beast just moments before he would have been eaten. He vowed never to leave the safety of his designated play area again. Now obviously this story wasn't true. It was just a made up story to tell to misbehaving children, but the story ran through each of the scientists head as they watched their newest experiment sniff around the lab. The first six or so months, war wolf number 69 acted and behaved just like every other war wolf in the past. Except for the fact that he wouldn't venture out into the light of the lab, he would just stay in the darkest corners until they turned most of the lights off. They thought he would eventually outgrow this and everything would be fine. He was trained to wear his gas mask at age 6 months, and everything was as it should be. But shortly after receiving his gas mask, he started to change. He was no longer the sweet pup that war wolves tended to be. He became more and more feral as days went on. He would not let anyone interact with him. Several possible owners came and went. They were afraid he would be too feral to use as they needed. Eventually it became so bad that they had to keep him locked up in a dark room where no one would be able to interact with him. This just made him more feral, and eventually he dug his way out of the bunker, escaping into the wild forever. The scientists were terrified of what people would think. The fairy tale of The Beast was commonly told, and they were afraid the war wolf would be mistaken. They were right. As months past, the elusive war wolf was able to adapt to the environment he escaped to. Of course someone had to see him eventually. This afternoon the war wolf was running around and doing as he pleased like he always did. But on this day he did not hear the hunting party walking near him. Before he knew it, they had all seen him, and just like that, "The Beast" was real. The hunting party ran to tell everyone, before logically thinking as to why "The Beast" looked exactly like a war wolf. In the course of a month, hunting parties were sent near and far to kill this "monster" lurking near their homes. The war wolf himself had to adapt to all this new attention and he became much more elusive, and violent towards humans. Now it was probably another solid month before I came across him. He was about two years old at the time, and was very well known as "The Beast". On this particular night, it was strangely foggy. I was out hunting for anything I could eat. I hadn't eaten in days. As I creeped through the fog, I saw the outline of a creature about twenty feet in front of me. It was a large canine like creature. It was "The Beast". I was not scared, I just stood my ground as the creature slowly approached. As he got closer, I realized that he was wearing a gas mask, much like the war wolves I had seen before. Then it hit me. He wasn't this mythical creature of legend everyone was talking about. He was simply a misunderstood, feral, war wolf. I set my knife down on the ground hoping he realized that I meant no harm. He stopped approaching and sat down about ten feet from me. I had managed to catch one small creature that night, some sort of bird thing. I picked up my knife, cut it in half, and tossed half of it to him. He quickly removed his gas mask, ate it, put his gas mask back on, then looked at me. I spoke to him. "If you want the rest, you have to follow me." I could tell in his feral blind eyes, that he was still wild, but he wanted to trust me. I started to walk back to my bunker, and he followed about ten feet behind me. When I got back to my bunker, which was only meant as a temporary bunker for one, I threw him the rest of the bird thing. I may go hungry for another day, but it was worth gaining a war wolf ally. As the weeks past, our bond grew stronger. He was certainly not tame, but we grew close. Sometimes he would even come and sit by me in the bunker for a little while. Eventually he became my closest, and only friend. I too was an outcast like him. I didn't want to live in a world underground forever with fake meat, and a predetermined life. Women cleaned, cooked, and took care of kids. I on the other hand, wanted to hunt, scavenge, and fight for my own life. Of course I was cast out, and I quite enjoy not having my life lived for me. Even if I have to fight for my life day to day. Although having "The Beast" as your companion doesn't help you become any less of an outcast. I became known as "the one who has become The Beast". For some reason people thought earning the trust of this war wolf cursed me to become like him. I didn't care what people thought, I obviously wasn't like them, and I certainly don't want to. I got sick and tired of hearing the phrase "The Beast" when talking about my companion, so I named him. Noctis, it means "of the night". Very appropriate for a night hunter like me. In this war torn world I have found something precious. An ally I can trust. We would gladly fight for each other, and we frequently have to. Noctis, my darling, isn't even close to perfect. He has attacked he many times in the past, but I just let it go, he knows what is right and wrong. He is feral, and aggressive, and wild at heart. But he is my family, and I am his family. I don't know why we have connected like we have. Maybe I am my own beast at heart, and we are one of a kind. Maybe everyone is right. Maybe I have become The Beast. Either way I would gladly die for my brother, my best friend, my closest ally, Nox. And even though he can't speak I know in my heart, he would gladly do the same for me.
Does He/She Have Any Likes?
He likes darkness, fog, hunting, and me. He isn't too fond of the rare glimpses of sunlight or really bright lights. He may be blind but he can sense bright light and it really scares him because he has grown up in a world of darkness. Fog and hunting go hand in hand. He loves to creep around in the fog and attack anything that moves. He also uses the fog for cover when hunting game. He is my strongest asset when it comes to us hunting for food. He always brings his kills back to share with me. We are a pack and he is smart enough to know that if everyone in the pack is healthy, we are able to do so much more. And finally, he loves me. War wolves were bred to be loyal and protective, and that's exactly what he is. He frequently protects me with his life, even if the odds are not in our favor. Everyone may call him a beast, and he may be wild, but he knows that we have become one of a kind. That we are a pack of two, and we will help each other until the end.
Does He/She Have Any Dislikes?
Bright lights/sunlight, being restrained in anyway, anyone that is, or could possibly be a threat, and me getting hurt. Like I mentioned above, he was created and raised in a world of darkness. Bright lights scare him because it is such a different world than what he knows. He absolutely despises being restrained in any possible way. This includes leashes, collars, and even just being in a room with the door closed. This is why he tends to spend more time outside of the bunker. He tends to feel cornered in this sad excuse for a home. But he will come inside occasionally. Since he does spend a lot of time outside the bunker, he is the best guard dog. He will guard me, his only pack member from anything he may find threatening. This includes pretty much anything. Anything from wild beasts, to semi-friendly scavengers. This is another part of how he got his name. He seems violent and vicious to everything and everyone, but it's just because he is terrified of me getting hurt. He does tend to occasionally go after, and attempt to attack friendly scavengers, but he's just afraid that they may hurt me.
