Jokingly calls himself a "derpasaurus" because of how difficult-to-say his dinosaur mix is

Personality:
High. Devi often acts as if he has indulged in the few hallucinogens that grow in the area. Though he is perfectly clean and sober, there are rumors that he once partook in such things.
Wise. The only surviving Ancient besides the Divinities themselves, he knows his way around Life. He is an advisor to many different herds and groups of animals throughout the land.
Lazy. An "old man", he doesn't like getting up and doing much outside of his usual wanderings, though he has found that he cannot remain in the same area for too long.
Foul-tempered. It does not take much to get him from calm and happy to a grumbling, cursing grouch, though the latter is much more entertaining than the former.
Playful. Though he is quite large, he tries to play with each child he comes across, no matter how slow and creaky his joints get. His games are usually of the type where he takes something of the child's and playfully claims it as his own.

Likes:
Wandering. There is very little that Devi loves more than to walk around with a huge, goofy smile on his large face. Though he can devastate forests with his huge appetite, he tries to preserve at least some trees, claiming that he'd rather leave some for later.
Maple trees. A delicacy, Devi loves the taste of Maple leaves, because they taste the closest to the- now-extinct- plants that he was raised on.
Telling stories. As most old men do, he loves telling stories and getting lost in the past. This is also his favorite form of giving advice.
Sleeping. Sleeping, though he considers it a dry-run for death, lets him rest his tired old body, which, overall, makes him a happy camper.

Dislikes:
Know-It-Alls. There are some days that he wishes that he could just teach those "blasted young whippersnappers" a lesson. Their morals go against his ancient ideals, and he knows that they are going down the path of destruction.
Death. Devi is the last of his kind- the last of the dinosaurs, no matter how diluted his blood. Death reminds him of this fact, which makes him feel all the more lonely.
Rain. Rain soaks him mane, adding more weight to his neck, which further strains his body. Anything that does this is not appreciated in the slightest.
Hate. It could be said that Devi has a hippie's attitude. As such, he supports love, and disapproves of hatred.

Background:
I am alone. The last of my kind. I remember when the only other one, my brother, perished. He became ill when the storms came, blocking out the sun and destroying the plants. I, myself, was almost dead when the clouds receded and the skies became clear again. My eyes... they were sunken in. I remember looking into the water and wondering what drowned beast was below me... it was just a reflection of myself.
Devi survived the extinction of the dinosaurs thanks to his dragon blood, which gave him sharp enough teeth to survive on meat, and a stomach that could handle digesting tissue and muscle. He was forced to cannibalize, though he refuses to speak of it. He ate his herd, the closest group that he had in his life. It scared him that he could turn to such things in times of desperate need, but he has learned to shove it out of his mind and keep moving, because that is all that is left to be done.

I remember when the Divinities settled. Drew territory lines. And I remember when the Dragons split. My father, V'Arikor, became two- himself, and Cae. I have renounced my father... he has become darkness, much as darkness has become him. I recognize only the part of him that is Cae, though we look nothing alike. He, after all, is someone to look up to. He... he is the true Divinity of Death. V'Arikor is simply a murderer. A fallen soul, like the Christian human's Satan. And I am his bastard son.
Because he has been around for ages, Devi knows the histories of the Divinities first-hand, and he knows that they weren't truly there the entire time that the North, as a landmass, has existed. He does not give them the titles of "Gods" and "Goddess" in the same way that the others do; it is merely his nod to them as the current Divine Beings in power, in a way similar to monarchies. Regardless, he is rather fond of debates between himself and Dalin, finding the odd opposing logic interesting. He does not acknowledge V'Arikor since he has split into the two beings that he is today, because he refuses to call such an evil beast, "father".

They think I'm out of my mind. Stoned? Me? No.... I have never eaten the Tropical Dream-leaf [coca], and I have never leaned down to take the five-pronged-leaf weed [marijuana]. I know of no others in this land, but I know there are more, somewhere. Still... they call me wise, and ask as though I know everything. It's a wonder that they don't know that being wise is not about the knowledge that is known....
Under the question of his sobriety, Devi is perfectly clean. He has never, despite rumors, eaten the leaf of a known drug. He may, however, have accidentally eaten an unknown drug-leaf... but he denies this. As for his wisdom, he claims himself Professionally Stupid... that is to say, he is wise in the fact that he acknowledges that he knows absolutely nothing at all.

Time restraint blurb [in case I can't get this done before I'm cut off of the Internet]:
Devi knows something that the Divinities, and thus Shiva, do not know- the Divinities themselves are not infallible, and can die under specific circumstances. Devi himself will help set up the setting for V'Arikor's death, allowing enough space for a strike force to run in and destroy him. However, in the battle, the target dragon mortally- though not fatally- wounds Devi, who is saved by the North's doctor, Makuu, while the Dark God of Death escaped to the skies. Though severely handicapped and told to remain with the young werewolf, he broke the rules and participated in the very last battle, during which he spontaneously set up the trap again, this time to success. After his father's final cry echoed over the suddenly-silent battlefield, Devi collapsed, dying with a small smile on his face.

Background: Jiro was born to a wealthy family in east India. He had two brothers, Kotaro and Zelman, and one sister, Cassa. Kotaro and Zelman were adopted away, but he and Cassa remained, unwanted. Jiro took it okay, but Cassa got angry, she eventually escaped, dragging Jiro along with her. She found life in the wild was best, and took to the woods. But poor Jiro was left wandering the alleyways for months. Then one day, a young girl saw the ragged cat in a cardboard box, and took him home. He now lives a happy life in an average household with his dear new owner, Sara.

Background History/Present Day Events: Slinky was born into a line of Eqyptian cats. But the lines are so far back that no genes are in his DNA,nor his children's lines. Slinky has never liked other toms nor females but does what he needs for his blood lines to survive. He loves to bathe in the sunlight that seeps in by the window in hs owner's house,mine XD.
