i kind of wanted something vaguely tropical and it. ended up a bit more retro but!! for how quickly i had to do the gold i'm pretty happy with it. i bet it'd be great to listen to hanging out on the porch on a summer evening >:)

Tell me a bit about you entry! This is rocky road! Its a tad dirty but it looks nice! I didn't know exactly what theme to go for so I ended up going for a cottagecore type theme! The tunes inside are both calming and are a bop! almost like,,, a rocky road? smooth but bumpy, I guess its a win win! pop it in and jam for it.

This tape was found in the back of an old rental store, but it feels... Wrong.. Like it exists and doesn't exist at the same time, almost something ethereal, or paranormal, as it has a slight mint glow to it.There was no label, no written word, nothing else along with it, just the cassette and it's clear holding case. Crackling and skewing when in vision, almost like a poor illusion, or a glitching hologram. Touching or holding the tape gives a tingling sensation, but not numbness.

However, it is playable... But the music that comes out sounds more alike to a gramophone, not a regular cassette. The song is fuzzy, but able to be heard, along with quiet static and light scratch noises, like a record needle, intermittently fading in and out with the beautifully serene music. It almost feels... Calming... And nostalgic...

When played at another time, the fading noises are still there, but the song is different. It sounds slightly more modern now, lightly mixed synths and, surprisingly, some 8-bit sounds. Another time, it played something that had an unnerving energy, like a small song in the background of an old horror movie. But at the same time, it gave a feeling of serenity.. One more play revealed it also contains music that sounds like it belongs in a classic video game, something from the 90's-2000's, but definitely chiptune.

The song is different every time the tape is played. But the feeling is always the same.

Calming.
And nostalgic.
