Out of the Vortex

The vortex began to brighten and swirl hypnotically, slowly and so gradually so that it was difficult to notice it began to get faster and faster and it was only until the light became a blur did people turn their heads expectantly.
A blue paw emerged from the vortex and as a lithe blue, pink and golden body stepped from the vortex the first impression was one of a head held high in pride however before much else could happen there was a yelp from the newly born Ahzenai as it tripped and tumbled forward, it's back end went up in the air as his front end skidded along the ground and he came to a stop,
"Ooooof"
"Ruo!" Valacyon called, lifting his paw to smother a chuckle.
Ruo got to his paws and winced as he tried to take a step, nearly falling again as everyone began to laugh loudly. As he padded over to the water he attempted a strutting movement to save whatever dignity he had left...
Not a good move...
Within seconds his paws had slipped and he went crashing into the water and so he dragged himself out as a very dejected Ahzenai.
He looked at a man who seemed just about wetting himself laughing,
"Don't laugh!" Ruo cried leaping forward and savagely knocking the man to the ground, "None of you laugh!"

Wooing
Nix looked around and sighed she had watched every Ahz leave finding a companion and leaving her behind, she shook her head, no sulking, that would never do, she didn't even notice as the vortex started swirling and it wasn't until it was a blur did she see the paw emerge and her interest picked up, what she saw step seemed a proud and cold Ahzenai however she didn't miss the nervous darting of his eyes.

She jumped as the yelp pierced her ears and he went skidding forward at a rapic pace, his chin skidding along the ground and she winced,
"That has gotta hurt" She said pityingly but seeing him get up and wince she almost ran to him however seeing it was only a few scratches managed to keep her place, she admired the way he attempted a strut after what happened however even as her hands flew to her mouth she knew what would happen a moment before a tree root snagged his paw and he went tumbling into the water.

There were a few tense moments before the male resurfaced again but seeing it was ok Nix couldn't help but laugh, it was a kind laugh, not a mean one however it was very funny, she couldn't deny herself that,
"Don't laugh!" The roar stopped her laugh instantly as the Ahx suddenly turned savage and plowed into a man knocking him to the ground,
"None of you laugh!" he snarled.

The whole cave went silent, seconds ticked by then there was a sudden roar of outrage from the onlookers, none of the would tolerate that, a Ahz had threatened them many times before but never had one actually knocked over a human who in their eyes had done nothing wrong. The crowd suddenly surged toward the Ahzenai.

Nix's shoes pounded on the ground, she had to be faster, she sprinted at full speed, just skidding to a stop before she hit Ruo, without pausing she grabbed his forleg and gave a tug,
"Ruo, come on, they wont stop!" She cried desperately, attempting to drag him away...

Companions

Ruo's eyes widened as he suddenly had an angry mob after him, he felt a tugging on his leg and looked over to see a girl looking at him desperately, the one person that hadn't turned, finally her words reached his ears and he leaped after her, racing side by side until suddenly.
That stupid root had his paw and he went sprawling painfully to the ground, daggers seemed to pierce his skin where the rocks dug into him mercilessly, cries of triumph reached his ears and he squeezed his eyes shut.
Suddenly the girl was pulling him up and they were running again, both leaped out of the cave and collapsed on the ground panting heavily as the people paused at the entrance, they were just about to follow when Valacyon called,
"People, come and see the vortex!"
At the cry people turned around and after a moment of indecision, walked back into the cave.

Nix and Ruo looked at eachother,
"Wanna come with me? My name is Nix" Nix asked, laughing slightly as Ruo grinned back,
"Sure, I would love to" He replied...

A MAL is short for Mini Ahzenai Lines and they look like this:



Occasionally the staff artists will open slots for these lines. Only Ahzenai that have been made on the original, alternate or new lines can be put on MAL lines. So you won't be able to get a brand new Ahzenai put on the MAL lines. :3

MLV is short for My Little Vortex. It's an item that you would usually get from the shop, though you can't right now, I'm afraid, because it's closed. ^^; It basically allows you to order a custom when slots open and to get a surprise premade when they come up.
