Featuring the lovely, Hemoriarom <3
I don't know how to fit it into my woo, but I would love to use my warm kitten X3I watched sadly as Persica got up and joined Kat and her 5 Ahenzai. I was greatly saddened and disappointed, curling up in a ball beside Hemoriarom, who also had a saddened expression on her face. I sighed softly and let the sun beat down on my face, causing it to shine off my white skin and turn my cheeks a light pink colour with warmth. I closed my eyes in thought then opened them, looking at Hemoriarom.
"Hemoria... Why in the world did you choose me?" I asked my Ahenzai slowly, with some thought, majorly doubting myself. Hemoria looked at me and gave me a warm smile,
"Because I knew, for a fact, you were the one for me." she answered with a edge of confidence to her voice, making me happy. I took a deep breath and sat up, punching my fist into the air.
"I shall keep persevering!" I yelled confidently, getting some weird look from Ahenzai and their masters passing by. Hemoriarom rolled her eyes and chuckled softly, putting her head on her paws and closing her eyes to take a short nap... Until the sound of the vortex snapped us both to attention.
It had begun to stir again, and I watched with great interest as it went a red, then a orange, then a yellow, and I realized it was slowly cycling through the colours of the rainbow. My eyes grew wide in excitement. The rainbow. Then, it went white, and I watched in complete and utter away, Hemoriarom slightly curious to the Ahenzai that would come out.
Then, he came. Slowly but surely he made his way out of the vortex, and I felt it, something clicked inside of me. I don't know what it was... A feeling. A small spark of hope. A feeling as if we were ment to be together. I mean, I felt that with Hemoria, but something about him made me feel hopeful for once in a while... I inspected the Ahenzai, looking over the multicoloured splotches on his coat, look at his rainbow horns and his rainbow paw pads. So beautiful, unique, different. It made me love him even more. The end of his tail reminded me of a paint brush... And I could picture him in my mind painting the exact replica of a beautiful sunset with the tail, majestically dipping his tail into the paint then letting his talent go to work, painting a beautiful picture... It took me a while to snap out of it, glancing over at Hemoriarom. I was surprised by the look on her face. She was staring very dazed at the male, a soft expression on her face. I blinked and waved my hand in front of her snout, causing her to come back down to earth.
"Whats up Hemoria?" I asked, slightly curious, my attention slightly distracted by the handsome male Ahenzai standing near the vortex. Hemoriarom didn't reply, but just shrugged and turned her head away to look the other direction, glancing up at the vortex and at the Ahenzai every one in a while.
I waited patiently till the Ahenzai spoke up. And that's when I heard his name. Mactak. It reminded me of a tick-tack and a Big Mac, for some reason. A tick-tack for his colours and Big Mac because I was hungry for something to do with meat, but that could wait. I listened patiently to him talk as happy emmotionals slowly welled up inside of me. He seemed laid back and relaxed, a lot like Hemoriarom, but he was creative. I would be used to his laid-back living due to Hemoriarom also being a laid-back type of Ahenzai. Then, I heard what he wanted in a suitor. Creative. Check! I was beyond creative. I could draw, sing, dance, act, play the flute and violin, you name it! I loved the physical arts and I could share my interests with him. Food. Check! I love food, even though I'm lactose intolerant, I still eat dairy. Food may hate me, but I love it, and that's also another thing I shared with him. Then he said the key word: Crazy. I suddenly let out a loud squeal, getting a shush from a near bye person and some weird stares, but I ignored them, looking happily at Hemoriarom who was looking at Mactak with that dazed expression again. I shrugged it off and turned back to him, waiting till his speech was over, but I was honestly very nervous and jittery.
Lately I just haven't been feeling myself. I've been putting myself down, not being very confident, all around really judgemental of myself. But somehow, with him, I knew I could be myself. I knew he could except me. I knew I could be me: Crazy artistic Viva. I jumped to my feet as Hemoria gracefully got to her paws. I didn't see the fact she was hurriedly flattening her pelt and making herself look presentable, and walked confidently over to Mactak. I was fine until I saw the other suitors... They all looked so confident, so ready. Then that small, evil little voice creeped back into my brain:
'Your not good enough, he'll never pick you'
'Save yourself the disappointment and just leave'
I gulped and looked at Hemoriarom, who looked jittery. She looked at me and then at Mactak.
"Are we gonna stand here or are we gonna approach him?" She asked, looking at my curiously. I looked back at Mactak and took a deep breath, pushing those thoughts out of my mind. Either way, I was going to be myself. If he doesn't chose me, I'll be upset, but so be it.
I approached Mactak with a skip in my step, a large warm smile spreading around my face, the joy from finally being able to meet him rushing through me.
"Hi Mactak, and welcome to this beautiful land!" I said, taking a seat on a rock and looking at him with kind eyes as Hemoriarom sat beside me,
"I'm Viva, and this would be Hemoriarom, my first and only companion." I said, gesturing to Hemoria and looking at her, but she was shyly looking at her paws, not saying a word. I looked at Mactak and smiled,
"She's shy, give her some time... Anyways, again, I'd like to welcome you to this beautiful land." I sorta smiled awkwardly at him, then I remembered. He was hungry. My eyes lit up and I swung my backpack off, opening it and looking around inside, soon bringing out a large burger and a box of tick-tacks. I got up and approached him, placing them near his paws as a sat in front of him on the ground this time, taking out a burger for myself. I opened it up and took a bite, looking at Mactak then at the burger and tick-tacks, smiling after I swallowed.
"That burger is what they call a Big Mac. It reminds me of you, and so do tick-tacks... I hope I don't sound too creeperish." I laughed, hoping I didn't sound like a crazy physco. I finished the burger in a matter of no time, wipping my hands on a napkin, then returning to talk to him.
"I hope that small meal ceased your hunger. I love food. I cook crepes and eggs mostly, but whatever my Ahenzai want I make. Well, I try!" I giggled, then looked at his coat, still in awe.
"I am going to be flat out honest with you, I am not a painter. But, that doesn't make me creative. I play violin and flute, sing, dance, act, and I draw a bit. All a physical arts person." I said a matter-of-factly, putting my finger in the air. Then I smiled and looked into the distance.
"Back where I live, the site is beautiful. Something worth painting." then I turned back to him and laughed, leaning forward and pking him.
"Something you could paint! I bet it would be the best painting ever!" I said with a happy sigh, but then frowned 'Don't plan anything or get your hopes up, Viva' The voice said. I shook my head and turned back to him, winking and sticking my tongue out.
"I at least hope your ok with weird people. Because I am not just weird I am crazy. I mean, I can be laid back, but I'm usually the outgoing girl I am right now. Crazy? Boi, tis be my middle name. It defines me and who I am, not someone I'm not." I said confidently, looking at him and smiling.
"Can I just tell you... Your awesome? Its ok if you don't join me, but if you do... I'd be the happiest girl ever..." I said happily, patting his head then getting to my feet.
Just like usual, Hemoriarom pawed over to take her turn to introduce herself so the Ahenzai didn't feel too hostile. But this time, for her, it was different. She sat down and looked shyly at Mactak, then smiled, raising her head slightly.
"Hello Mactak, I am Hemoriarom. Its the greastest pleasure ever to meet you..." She said, and she swore if her coat wasn't a red you could see her blushing, for she was quite attracted to this Ahenzai. He enchanted her, wanting him to come with them more. She coughed slightly and looked him in the eyes.
"I want to say, like I usually do, that Viva seems like a really hyper person, but she just wants to be good enough so you can except her. She's really nice and takes great care of me... And she'd take great care of you too. She really likes you, I can tell, and I ask of you... Please join us. I- We, would love your amazing company. I can confirm that even though your the laid back type and Viva is the outgoing type, its not a bit hard to live with her." Hemoriarom smiled and looked at her paws, pawing the ground a bit then looking back at him.
"You're a very attractive Ahenzai, with a seemingly great personality... I hope to see you again." Hemoriarom said softly, getting up and turning, then pawing over to me, who was sitting in the sun and watching.
"Hemoria, do you like him?" I asked curiously, without a response. Hemoria ignored me and sat, looking at Mactak.
I also looked at Mactak and smiled, a pain of sadness in my heart, thinking of the big fact that he probably won't choose me. But it was worth a try. For I needed to be confident if I was going to live a happy life.
Even if it had Mactak in it or not.
