I did my best to stay within the preferences of the original owners and give these characters a bit more personality without completely changing their designs. I added a scarf and a hat to the first design because he reminds me of winter, but overall the design is unchanged.
I took a few more liberties with the horse- I tried to base it off the orginal rather than the revamp as, honestly, I thought it had a bit more potential and really loved the colors. I also kept her an arabian, since arabians are very flashy, show off-ish horses and I thought it was a good match.

Why do you want to be part of the team? First of all, you guys are awesome. I'm lucky enough to know a good chunk of the staff and I would be very happy to be able to work alongside some of the people I admire most on CS.
And I really enjoy doing revamps. I like making different designs come to life and giving them a bit of personality instead of just coloring in linearts. There's a lot of really pretty and interesting designs that get looked over when they really shouldn't be. Its fun making an average design into a character and getting it some much needed attention.
I'm hoping to someday be a cartoonist, and one of the things I really like about drawing is using different features to give a drawing personality and giving people an idea of a character without having to write a description. I think this position would help me practice and improve on that.
What art skills do you have? I won't say my anatomy is perfect, but I can draw a good variety of species and love drawing slightly "different" animals that you don't normally see. I enjoy drawing horses and canines, but I really love looking at different kinds of animals and drawing them. I hate drawing the same thing over and over again- I make sure to add variety to my characters and make my creations unique.
What art program do you use? Sai and Photoshop.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:

I have been wanting this character
and to make this form for a while now, and I finally have time to do that.
This is a quite lovely design, and the colors go together really well.
It seems so calm and spirited. Not the crazy, excited spirited, instead the
majestic-light spirited if you know what I mean ^^. Every time you look at this wolf it
makes you smile and forgive and forget. When I am feeling down or just upset, I will
get on CS and stare at Skyra, making me feel a lot better. I am actually surprised this
wolf didn't get a lot of forms for it, since this is such a nice design. I hope I'll be the
lucky winner to take this beauty home. What will I do for it? Love and care for it of
course! I will also roleplay her and order art for her.

Personality:

Well the first thing you will notice about Skyra is that she is quite
like a dragon. She has a lot of courage, ready to go into battle to fight for loved
ones. To do this, Skyra doesn't have a lot of fears and can take risks. Heights
and predators don't scare her. Another quality of a dragon that she has are
tenacity and intelligence. It's hard for her to let go of the things that she
loves, including family. She is also smart/intelligent. That comes in handy
when strategizing and creating traps. Skyra is filled with enthusiasm and
confidence. She is eager at times, and very confident. Skyra will never
let someone down and break promises. She loves challenges and
doing tasks for people. Sometimes she may be a bit on the aggressive side,
but I promise you, Skyra won't hurt you. Overall, Skyra has a warm, giving
personality, and can be very generous to loved ones.

Floating Around
What?! I haven't told you that she could float? Well, silly me,
she can! In fact, she does it most of the time! When Skyra floats, she feels
like she free and can take off anywhere. That's why she loves doing it all the
time. It's quite strange that an Arctic Wolf can float/fly, but I will explain in
her history.

Dragons
Yes, as you might have guessed, Skyra loves dragons. Anyways,
she does have the spirit of the dragon inside her! Every time she sees a dragon,
Skyra just sits in front of it and examines it.

Dislikes:

Dogs
Skyra doesn't like dogs at all. It's just a thing for her. If she
see's one she'll just walk away or get aggressive depending on who it is.

Water
Very uncommon, but Skyra is afraid of water. She thinks it
could burn her or something. Again, this is a dragon thing.

History/Background:

Skyra was born a very unhealthy pup. Her parents were very concerned,
and realized the only thing to do. They brought her to a dragon that they knew of having
powers. The dragon, named Asharth, agreed to help Skyra. To do this, Asharth had to
give his spirit to her. He was willing to do that for her. Asharth gave his spirit to her,
and Skyra became healthy again. But, she had Asharth's spirit in her, so she has a
spirit of a dragon.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: As an embarassing and strange fact, I stalk WBS around on Chickensmoothie and I have to say I love her characters. When I saw Tyrone was being put out for adoption, my mouth literally dropped and I would have posted a form right there and then if adoptions had been open. Something about him, his look, makes me want him. He will definately be in my character thread, and I will order art for him even after he's mine. I'm not going to trade him away. If somebody other than me wins him, congrats. He's a great character to have and though he may not be a unique species, he's unique to me.

Personality: Sneaky and thieving. He's always been a spoiled one, and if he doesn't get what he wants he'll likely take what he wants. He likes to stir up unnecessary drama and he's not one to show his feelings. He's a traveler, and doesn't stay in one place for too long. His sharp teeth have come in handy for many things, self-defense to tearing things apart, they make him look stronger than he is. He's vain, and selfish. He's nearly always happy and usually for trouble. He can also be silly and loveable, and loves to attempt to charm others into being his friend. He's loyal, but otherwise not the bestchoice to hang around with because normally he thinks of himself more than others and pranks others much too often. Though he can be fierce behind his not-so-serious personality and his sensitivity makes him lash out at those who offend him, and with his fangs, can easily intimidate others to not bother him. He can be too flirty at times but really he is usually just teasing.
